Turning off the voices prevented the majority of crash scenes for me. They appear to always happen in the same place, so just save often and be ready to turn off voices for a minute to get through a problematic spot.
That is probably a directX or visual c++ redistributable error. I'd do fresh installs (that is to say, uninstall it then install a fresh version) of both of those and see if it helps.
I got an app crash during day 9. If you disable male voices for the line that crashes it and ctrl quickread over it, it doesn't crash and you can just read it in the scroll log.
Its a direct X file issue, delete your d3dx11_43.dll from the system32 folder and re-install directX, should resolve the issue. DirectX no longer updates all files, just the ones that have changed since last install, if you get a partially corrupted file it doesnt update as it still see's the file. DirectX is basically performing an illegal instruction at that memory address
0xc0000007b is a memory address. When there's an error at that address, it's usually a corrupted system file that's causing the problem. Best I can tell, it's usually a Microsoft C++ Redistributable or DirectX file that's being accessed that early in the runtime, so I'd remove and reinstall my C++ redistributables and my DIrectX implementation and see if that helps.
The demo works tho so why doesnt this version work? I tried to do what you recommended but it doesn't work still. On the other hand the demo works perfectly.
