I login here just to share my disappointment about the warcraft 3 reforged. I've waited for years man, imagine it, how long have we wait for it. I'm bit disappointed when they announced it as a reforged instead a completely new remaster game but i can accept that. and, look at how they shattered my dream and hope. R.I.P Blizzard, I loved you and thanks for all the childhood memories you've given to me as a kid.
Need to know what version this installs. Don't understand why this isn't in the description. Many games on this site delete crucial information about versions, and even installation instructions from the original group releases. Very bad practice.
Anyone know why I can't join the multiplayer game with gameranger? The host opens the lobby but I can't find it. My warcraft 3 starts no problem but I can't seem to find the hosts lobby inside the game.

To anyone looking for this game in the future; as Zer'Nom mentioned it's an old version. You really want to get v1.29+ it's important because all these years it was a 4:3 stretched image out of proportion. Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos + Frozen Throne is actually a free downloadable from Blizzard. They implemented this thing a LONG time ago when they started to resell digital copies online. The free downloader will install the game from them, with current patch just requiring you to enter a valid CD-Key. There is a long established site that acts as a preservation site for maps, etc and all the Blizzard patches. Complete instructions on how to get a legit copy, use one of the many cd-key's in their database and you get fixed up in no time. Srsly, it was laid out very clean. Search for "Warcraft 3 Tools". Here is a screencap collage I threw together showing the version I installed v1.30.4.11274 along with notes such as how to swap between 2 games. people on blizz forums were lost too, its a tiny icon and this patch supports 4k true widescreen. Be sure to make a shortcut to the .exe adding -nativefullscr at end of Target. All shown in the .jpg (see more below.) Again, Look for "Warcraft 3 Tools", you don't need this Multi6 release, on that site look in the Patches section, the patch will act as a game downloader. Go to Google and Search "Gaming Tools", then click Warcraft 3
Go to Patches Section and Download Latest Patch.
The Patches act as Game Downloader as well (very handy, indeed).
Once Download is Complete, it will ask for CD-Key, in that site (until today that is) they provide free CD-Key.
It's recommended to disable Internet or put some Firewall on warcraft 3 while inputting CD-Key,
Done, Enjoy the Game. sometimes cinematic doesn't show (it's playing in blackscreen but has some audio on the background), you might want to download and Install "Codec K-Lite Basic" as this most of the time fix the problem,
