Go to game Directory and search for steam_emu.ini then open it with notepad. Scroll down and you will find "UserName=Codex" change CODEX to whatever you want then save and exit.
If your controller is not working follow these steps
Download x360ce.exe
Paste it on game folder
Use auto button on bottom right or assign button by urself
Make a shortcut of the game and type "+legacyinput" Like "C:/{Game directory}" +legacyinput If you are using steam follow these steps
Add speedrunners as non steam game
Open steam in big picture mode
Go to library
Find SpeedRunners in your games library and select SpeedRunners.
Select 'Manage game'
Select controller option
Select "Forced Off" under "Use Steam Configuration for Non-Steam Controllers". This will stop Steam from interfering with the legacy input mode.

To those who have the controller problem just do this simple fix. 1.Right click on game shortcut and then click on properties. 2.Go to Target and add this into the command line "+legacyinput" without the quotes. It should look like this - SpeedRunners Civil Dispute\SpeedRunners.exe" +legacyinput

Whenever I go to custom match and try to change runner of Player 1, the game crashes... Any way to fix this?
