sweet! i didn't request this one, but thanks to those who did, I wanted to try it out. It looks a bit like a Banished/Rimworld mash-up which has me really interested. Looking for a new game to buy, so maybe this could be it. Time to check it out.
i like this genre and it looks good. ill find out soon enough if the content and mechanics is robust enough to not get boring and generic edit: NVM game is still in early access in steam. i try to avoid playing most of early access games coz i like to play this in its best state
i mean, it IS in early access so don't judge too harshly. i'm about to check it out myself 'cause i've been looking for something in this niche little genre to play. i'm just hoping it has all it's main mechanics in place whatever they may be. fingers crossed.
im looking for a game like this with more emphasis on smaller sort of tribe survival... dont really care much for the era.... if you know something let me know... ive tried a bunch of "crap" clock work empires and some of the pixel games but all pretty simple or "not fun"........... even any sort of small squad game.... survivall.... suggestion please
Banished Prison Architect Is the two I would recommend for you... They are great, easy to get into and really fun to tinker around with... RimWorld throws a lot of shit at you from the get-go but if you managed to get through the hellish tutorial, the game is magnificent with detail... You need to invest more time in this than the two previously mentioned
if you wanna play a community driven one, you should buy "one hour one life". the game age is based on the player's progression, like, the whole player family. everybody needs to take care of each other etc. etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGU56ozNxRk watch the series in the channel, it's really cool
Jesus! Minimum specs required are 4GB RAM and a NVIDIA GT graphics card? I need to upgrade my damn PC because it seems no games are able to run on it anymore.
As if I'm trying to say that every new game is bad because it can't run on old computers =_= I'm just saying that it's rare to see low spec games these days. And the progress of gaming technology doesn't mean shit when the games are not good themselves. Zero Ranger is a low spec game that my PC can run and i can say I would rather play it than the 40+ high end (by my standart) games i have on my PS3.
The other side of that coin is that companies stop caring about being efficient with resources, which is why we get so many games that are multiple gigabytes that have absolutely no need to be.

Try "Chariots of War", for example.
Just sad that no one these days bothers to think about low-spec folk.
