Yo thx man and btw In the "steam_emu" file u gotta edit it and become it's owner in order to do the 3 and 4 options, if u don't know how to become the owner of a file "How to take ownership of files and folders" search that up and do not try to take owner ship of the entire vampyr folder, just take ownership of only the "steam_emu" file and you'll be good to go.
So, for the updates, should I copy the contents from CODEX folder first or run the setup.exe first? Please help, my game is running but idk if it's the latest version.
I just launched the game to see if it woks, and i haven't installed any update yet. Right now it seems to work just fine, but the steam in game window keep opening on its own while I try to play. Do the updates fix that ?
Im genuinely confused on how I am suppose to download this. I download all the parts per update and when I setup the codex I get the "waiting for input.." with a bunch of red text, im guessing it's an error. im not sure if I was only suppose to install the latest update or what. This is by far the most confusing download on this site for me so far.
Can you explain which part is confusing you? Its really easy: Download part 1 and 2 of update 1, unpack start the updater, update and repeat for update 2 and 3 only update 2 has one part.

Search it up on youtube. There is a folder that is called codex open it copy everything and paste that into the games folder when your done installing it.
Is it possible to play the game (Part 1 to 3) without the updates? I wanna try if my PC can run it before fully committing my internet bandwidth. Edit: Seems like this game can run even on my potato. I've download all 3 parts to the game and extracted them using 7zip, when i try to mount the .iso with virtual clone it mounts something but does not autorun. if try to double click the virtual drive i get a error message, "Windows can't access the disk" The disk might be corrupt.Make sure the disc uses a format that windows recognizes. etc I redownloaded and tried extracting with winrar, same problem, has anyone else come across this or no what happening or what i'm doing wrong?
I reinstalled to the current version and it seems to be fine, strange thing was that only the new .iso did not work but the old ones still mounted just fine. But now all .iso mount, just thought i would let others know if they come across this.
The game opens up and works to the point where i need to press ENTER for third time. After pressing the button it is just loading and loading and loading...but never fully load. I was stuck on the same issue when installing update 1... after like 10+ mins it changed to the next file tho. AVGame-WindowsNoEditor-GameA.pak.cdx_newfile just took a long time for me.

Guys, when I download any game from IGGGAMES it only opens Steam with the game. It doesn't start downloading it, it just opens the page. I uninstalled Steam, reinstalled the game and it still does that. Could anyone explain why?
Did you try to go there (Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv139\Win64) in your vampyr folder then click on steam_emu and turn Set Steam connection to offline mode Offline=0 to Set Steam connection to offline mode Offline=1?
I now have the same game in Vampyr as in Shadow of War. The game worked wonderfully and suddenly the game data is damaged. Can I do something there or do I have to delete the score? Does anyone have any idea why this problem could occur? I hope someone can help me. I wish all those who read it to the end a wonderful day.
Have you tried to back up the save files and reinstall the game. You should be able to continue the game from where you stopped. On my system the save files are located in: AppData / Local / AVGame.
had the same problem, not sure if you've done it already but there's a solution in one of the comments and I can confirm that it works. "so if you are having the infinite loading screen, all u gotta do is goto vampyr/engine/binaries/thirdparty/steamworks/steamv139/win64 and select the Steam_emu with the notes program, and change the steam offline =0 to offline=1 then save it into the documents go back to the place where u found the original steam_emu and delete it and simply put the new steam_emu that u saved into your document in place of the original steam_emu and then run the games as administrative and boom no more infinite loading screen. it took me a good moment to figure it out but it works and thats all that matters. enjoy"
Hello, I've been trying to play this game but it always brings me back to steam. I was wondering if anyone could help me? I have installed the game and applied the fix (I believe I did the crack right but I'm not sure). It would be awesome if someone could walk me through this :)

II would first try, if it is not done already, to reinstall the game, copy crack, and then netvork fix and see if it works. Also check the system requirements.

I have a problem with installing the update. First I received an error while it scanned the game files. So I just installed the game again and then the error was gone. So but now the Update just stops to continue after this : VYR_dne.usm.cdx_newfile AVGame-WindowsNoEditor-GameA.pak.cdx_newfile =D Somebody knows what i can do, or what might be the problem.

Can anyone help me pls?... everytime I launch the game I can play for a few moments and then it either freezes or crashes. If it crashes it says someting about low level fatal error line 176. I have updated my nvidia but it still has this issue. A lot of times it happens during cutscenes. If anyone knows how to solve this pls tell me :(

This is simple, Just go to where you Installed the Directory, For example I put my game in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Vampyr" then go to Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv139\Win64 and open file: steam_emu in notepad++ change the following line Offline=0 to Offline=1 boom done should work now.

EDIT: I just realised, by reading the comments, that apparently there was supposed to be a steam_emu file that should have been replacd with the fix. 99999th When the game brings you to its steam page, it means, you didn't apply the crack 100%! Copy/paste the crack in your main game folder and then apply the networkfix (Networki fix -> OR just open the .ini and set "Offline=0" to "Offline=1" )
Do as mentioned in the comment by Abhishek below: Reinstall and in the installer select "copy the contents of CODEX folder to game directory". After installing the game apply "network_fix".
.... where did you write that? you only applied the Fix you have to put the crack before the Fix look at this part x) : Copy/paste the crack in your main game folder and -->THEN<-- apply the networkfix and again When a game brings you to its steampage you DIDN'T apply the crack OR wrong folder.

Aweful game for PC, controls are terrible, movement is terrible, and looking around with the mouse is terrible. This is also more of a dialogue-based game, meaning that 90% of the game is talking to people, 8% of the game is walking around town in order to talk to people, and 2% is actual fighting. Also be aware tht actually biting people does not kill them and is only a move you can make during the very simple and infrequent fights. You would think that for being a vampire there would be a lot more cool biting scenes but really there isn't much point to biting people. Don't waste your time downloading this game unless you are into that kind of thing. (And of course none of this is IGG's fault)
I'd highly suggest the usage of a controller. I've been playing through this with a Xbox One controller, and I believe the looking around with the controller is good. The actual movement is far from great, yet not bad. Now to say the game is terrible because you're not into this, is just wrong. Many people like these kinds of games, including me. Also the biting is a fight move, BUT you can aswell 'embrace' civilians, which kills them and brings much more blood and xp.
i respectfully disagree, overall controlls are not terrible, they are not bad, but neither great, the dialoge of the game is due to the developers focusing more in a rich history and characters backgrounds than in actual map, as far as i can tell "biting" hostiles kills them if the bite makes their hp to 0, "embracing" is used for civilians this kills the civilian in the proccess, the only point of embracing characters is so that u get easy XP to lvl ur character, the point of bitting in combat is that u can get easy blood to use abilities, given u have something to lower the white resistance bar, such as a mace or so
yeah the names are the same epect for the part. I may have found, when i open the part 3 and 2 they are the same so i redownload the part 3 from another server

Hey dude, just change the settings on the menu (options), for example from 1920x1080 to 1620x1080 and then to 1920x1080. Worked for me, but you have to do it everytime u start the game :/

I copied the codex into the game file and overwrote the files. Then I did the same with the network fix but all the same thing happens all the logos of the game appear and then it is just a black screen with the game music and I have to restart my computer to get out of.
Cant even install. Ive mounted the image properly and tried to run the setup even as admin. Ive got the space for it on my harddrive but whenever i hit install, regardless of if i checked install the contents of the CODEX folder or not. I get an error msg: ISDone.dll. The rest of the box is blank and only has an ok button. Anyone have any ideas? Also i tried downloading from two separate links so far, same result
when you press the icon to install the game it will take you to the CODEX installer, there you will see two box click the second one that says "copy CODEX to file" or something along the lines and press install!

For anyone having the issue where it opens up steam! Before you Install the Game! (Click on Apply Crack) Then press Install And you're done! (If you have the green flashing screen problem like i had! that means 100% you didn't apply crack or didn't crack correctly. Game never opens steam unless uncracked. You need to copy the crack into the install path or choose to apply crack tickbox upon installing
I'm having weird horizonal lines appearing on my screen while playing on both low and high settings. Any suggestions? I'm using a 1080 ti, so i definitely have enough power. Edit: BTW, the "lines" are distortions, not actual harsh colored lines
I haven't played Vampyr yet, but i had similar result in Euro Truck, my internal monitor (laptop) worked fine, but an external would give me some strange lines. I went to the monitor settings Menu>Auto-adjust, it fixed some, but not all. Also, i'm on the AMD side so.... Mess arround with the nvidia settings and see if anything changes. Because i did mess around with mine and it worked after some time.

Thx alot IGG and Scene,I like this game. For those who have a (somehow) hard time to apply the crack: CODEX-Installer has a option which applies the crack for you,just select/mark/click on it,thats it.No copy n paste.I hope that helps,too. This counts for the network-fix ,too,just select the option
Remember to install the crack as well with the installer. If it doesn't work, manually drag the folders in the "Codex" folder within the iso into your game folder. Also don't allow the game to have firewall access to prevent it from connecting to the internet.
For whoever this might help, if the game isnt playing or stuck on loading, download and extract the network fix, go into the CODEX folder and keep going into each folder until you get to the "steam.emu" . Copy it then follow this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Vampyr\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv139\Win64 . Then paste the file you copied earlier and replace the existing file and the game should work after that, not too difficult to do, just a few steps. Enjoy!
Be sure you're an admin on your System Right click on steam_emu.ini - properties - disable Only read (you can google for these windows Errors/problems) I can copy/paste and Even edit an Only-read file . probably you miss some privileges

du musst den network fix downloaden... im CODEX order ist der ordner ENGINE den packst du in den spieleordner und überschreibst den alten engine ordner hoffe ich komm nicht zu spät ^^ wünsche dir viel spaß beim spiel ist der hammer :)
der Codex Installer kann den Crack auch für dich anwenden ohne selbst "Hand anzulegen".Wähle einfach die Option apply crack aus(ist unten im Installer auswählbar).Hoffe das hilft.

Game is amazingly boring. Majority of the game you will be just talking to NPCs and gathering clues. Game is pretty much a walking around town simulator. If you do end up downloading the game and playing it, go for full chaos and just kill all npcs when you get the chance to if you don't just uninstall.

Ignore the stupid replies you need to extract the game/run the iso make sure it auto installs codex then after it is installed you need to find the same folder that is in the network fix in the actual game directory and replace it.
You need to move obviously. To a bigger room. Oh comew on ffs. Check the free space in your Hard Disk. And delete some of the porn... it can get you blind :D

everything worked until I got infinite loading bug. then saw the network fix which I applied but now my game is in german and I can't seem to change it. In option nothing happens if I apply English. the steam_emu.ini already has a Language=english entry. How do you change to English?

Edit 1: Culture = language ---- doesn't work To change language You have to change your primary Window Language Untill someone find a better way :X Edit 2 You Can select The Window Display language To the One you want in game Without the need to Disconnect your account Or Restart Just select your Language (on windows Display Language) - Play - When you're Done (playing) select back your Window Prefered Language.
yea, look like it set the language to your Primary Window Language. I tried changing my Window 10 language. I set English (united States) and now the game is English (in-game too)
I found that You can just Select English on Display languages ANd don't need to restart Or Disconnect your window account Just select English Play and when you're done (playing) Select again your default language
So I got the game to get to the main menu but it says "Press Enter" and I do but then it just goes into an infinite loading glitch, I tried putting the game into windows 7 compatibility mode to see if it would make a difference and it didn't. Don't remove the engine folder, just drag the contents over from the old one into the new one. and there are 2 different folders that you have to change not just the engine folder
and in the engine folder is a binaries folder in binaries is aThirdParty folder in ThirdParty is a Steamworks folder in Steamworks folder is a steamav139 folder there is a win64 folder there is a steam_emu konfig data..
Hey, for anyone getting "locked" out of GDrive files, here's a solution. 1: Save this url. Copy paste it into a text doc because its important: https://drive.google.com/file/d/your-code-paste-this/view 2: paste that URL into a seperate browser tab 3: Open up your desired GDrive file link in another tab 4: In the URL for that file link (past the 5 second check), copy the string of code after the equals sign and stop if there's a dash or anything of the like after. 5: Paste that into the "your-code-paste-this" section of the saved url and then enter it and it'll take you to a page that says there is a preview error because the file is the maximum size, etc. 6: Top left should have the GDrive icon which saves the file to your GDrive. Click it. 7: Make a copy of that file in your GDrive and then download that because the original is still locked out. And thats it.Be sure to remove the "Copy of" language in the file name. If you run out of space, just delete the uneeded files, refresh the page, and then get your new file in there to download directly.
u need to copy whole id after = sign then only it will allow u to view the file save it in ur drive then create a copy and download dont forget to delete the copy and original file from ur drive
In Vampyr network fix there is a codex folder in that folder there is a engine folder. Drag the Engine folder into the Vampyr game folder replace the original engine folder with the new fixed one.

No, you're actually not limited, you just have to make sure to remove the copied file after downloading it from your drive and also make sure to empty your trash to free up the space again and then you can just continue.
Incorrect. Even if your drive is completely empty, you are still limited as to how much data you can copy per day. I know this as i've been trough that plenty of times. The copy data limist DOES exist
You are wrong, if you copy not just add to your drive you use your account to download from your own drive as much as you want. Might cost you like 2$ to get 100gb storage room but its very much worth it. Then use Jdownloader 2 as a download manager. You can also do the same with the base 15GB you get for free but you will just have to make sure you only add enough to your drive not to exceed your 15GB cap. faster to just pay the $2 and get 100GB but that's for pure convenience and you can still download basically everything by rotating the parts of stuff you want to download.
I'm not talking about downloading, i'm talking about ACTUALLY COPYING THE FILE. Not adding, COPYING, that is what is limited. After a while you can't copy anymore, it just fails to copy
Try copying 1 part at a time and make sure you have at least 5GB free on your drive, there should be no issue. Even if you want to open a new drive for 15GB should fit the entire game. I always "Add to Drive" first then inside your drive "Make Copy" then you should get "Copy of XXXX" in your drive with you as the owner.
I have. Many times before on many different games and even on other sites, not just this one. After a while the copy simply fails, even if i have more than enough free space
Im sorry then I don't know what to say, The only time I have had failed was when there wasn't enough room. Even maybe try having 2x as much room. like how a harddrive works. Also I have found that google drive doesn't seem to calculate how much space you have very fast so maybe calculate in your head how much room you have just incase. Other then this, I would say open up another google drive account and try again because it sounds like your one is borked.
Sorry, I kindly have to disagree with you because I've downloaded a total of over 100GB (FF15 and Kingdom Come: Deliverance) without any limitation. The only limitation I had was that while two to three files were downloading I had to wait for at least one to finish, then remove the file and empty the trash before I was able to copy the next file and start the download. So yeah, I truly believe you're the one who's incorrect in this case or how else would you explain that? =)

There you will find a section called TdrDelay it gives you all the information you need to create a registry key that will change the delay time
To open your registry open your start menu and type "run" once the window is open type "regedit" and hit OK
Now you should have Registry Editor open this is where you will use the info at the website I just linked.
First navigate the key path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers
Right click on GraphicsDrivers and go to new> DWORD (32 bit) value
You will see a new key appear make sure to name it "TdrDelay"
Right click it and select "modify"
Under Value data enter 10 (this is the number of seconds to delay) make sure you have Decimal selected as the base
Hit okay and restart your system
You can do the same for "TdrDebugMode" and "TdrLevel", But you sould use hexadecimal instead of decimal.

EDIT: I just realised, by reading the comments, that apparently there was supposed to be a steam_emu file that should have been replacd with the fix. I didn't have that file so I'll just try reinstalling.

When the game brings you to its steam page, it means, you didn't apply the crack 100%!
Copy/paste the crack in your main game folder and then apply the networkfix (Networki fix -> OR just open the .ini and set "Offline=0" to "Offline=1" )
Reinstall and in the installer select "copy the contents of CODEX folder to game directory".
After installing the game apply "network_fix".
you have to put the crack before the Fix
look at this part x) :
Copy/paste the crack in your main game folder and -->THEN<-- apply the networkfix

When a game brings you to its steampage you DIDN'T apply the crack OR wrong folder.
you may have some missing Requirements (Software/driver) or in rare cases it's corrupted (the setup)

When i downloaded from MegaUP there was part 1 , part 2 (2) and part 3
Part 2 was named with that "(2)" just delete it
They need to have same name and Ordered Numbers

You Can select The Window Display language To the One you want in game Without the need to Disconnect your account Or Restart
Just select your Language (on windows Display Language) - Play - When you're Done (playing) select back your Window Prefered Language.
