Game doesn't work, I run the Steam emu and it just closes down after the dev logo with a window that says "Close this window when you are done playing the game.".
Guys I figured it out. I use a program called NetLimiter which makes it so that i have to allow/deny any new tcp/udp connection on my PC that shows up. For whatever reason, as long as I leave it pending on allow/deny, the game runs perfect. So its definitely something network related Actually seems to work now also if i block all connections, so maybe try doing so ahead of time via windows firewall or equivalent
how to make the blocker stay on ? idk how to use this software, it made the game actually open but it instantly crashes after 15 seconds always. nvm i figured that out And game stayed on but it forces me to look at this limiter ..cant play the game it keeps minisizing it
Yeah if you read the last part of my post... you can block the connection. And you dont need the software, it was just an example for how I figured it out. You could block it with windows firewall if you wanted to.
Found a workaround you have to right click on the launcher and set compatibility mode to launch the game in 640x480 then you launch it and the game runs after that go to the game settings and select same resolution as desktop tadaaa XD
Tried this made it to the menu 1 time for a brief moment and then got the same window popup from before, and now no luck making it back to the menu. :\ must be a problem on my end.
sorry to hear that is your directx and other redist up to date ? also try launching it in admin mode i saw a playtrough vid on youtube even the tester had an issue with the game in full screen so maybe they'll fix it
Same here no luck with games lately Hyper sentinel not responding and I hate running backwards is 64bits i just hope moonlighter works when it comes out
Also if possible to make it run without having to block it with a firewall, other players would be grateful :)
