Actually a pretty decent fun arcade racer. Emphasis on "Arcade", it's a direct port after all. Though I'd say the arcadeyness makes it more enjoyable than your average racing game when it comes to the feel and flow of the race. You always find yourself close to your opponents, whether you're chasing behind them or it's the other way around. Mistakes aren't too punishing but they're important, for both you and the AI drivers. Bumping a car or slamming your side against the wall on a turn wont immediately ruin your entire race, but you'll have to work hard to catch up after a mistake. There's very minimal customization you unlock as you "level up", and you earn points to spend on improving the car's actual stats (the customization seems to separate visuals from statistics, which is kinda nice). If you want to burn a few hours playing a racing game that reminds you of Initial D or you're simply in the mood for some arcade racing that will make you feel less like you're driving an actual car and more like you're having fun, this is a surprisingly solid choice.
