Will this game ever get updated to the current version? I actually spent 2 days of gameplay until it told me to update it. I know I have to request an update but I have actually done that and nothing much comes of it.
part 3 is still in progress by torotororesistance so we will need to wait for at least......let's see 1 more year at minimum and another 3 years at minimum for the main story translations for part 3 so.....yeah, you will get translated version of this game at least 4 years later

Also, this version is only up to 2.11 instead of the newer one 2.21, which is quite only already, prob came out on late 2018. EDIT: found a link with the newer version and applied the last translation patch, and indeed it ends at the same place, so only the main quests will be translated, seems like Dargoth gave up on the translation
I tried the 2.23 version you posted and the translation worked really well, but both the translated and un-translated games auto-skip the h-scenes, and changing the configs does nothing to change this. Any idea?
On 2.11 untranslated h-scenes seems fine so try it + i started chaos lab super boss run. Layer 200(goal layer:1000 or max) of lab of chaos superboss defeated thanks to vicarious clara spam and me being idiot grinding every single class,lvl,race to maximum. Besides something is required for translator to work,and i dont have it on my PC and kinda forgot what it is. I will wait for release of translated version...
Thanks for the reply, but only 2.23 is fully translated, as far as I am aware, and there will definitely be no translation coming for any older version. And after checking, I can see that the h-scene pictures are in the proper folder, the game just isn't displaying them (or any error message) and just skips. Frustrating really.

Game Version wise, it is up to date I think. Version 2.23 released on Apr/12/2018, the file from download (the google drive one at bare minimum) was made on Apr/26/2018. The Game is up to date I think,downloading to check, the translation isn't though, but that said the translation being done by fans not the company so.. yea.
No it's not done completely, they're still working on the scenes and doing corrections. The side quests and main storyline is done yes, but there is still being work done on it, I'm part of the discord where that is being managed at.

Really did what? Use the ytinasni game translator? Yes. And so it's clear the output folder is simply where the translator puts the finished translation when it's done. Go to the Save Game Editor - Guide page I mentioned prior, go down to alternative cheat methods and click on the "MGQ Paradox 2 Translator + Resizer + Cheese" link and use the translator from there. You can ignore the "Cheese" folder.
Did same thing as you mentioned in the guide page,result was same as in the screenshot i gave you earlier. IMPOSSIBLE TO PATCH TRANSLATIONS due to red ERROR on Ytinasni.RpgMaker.Translator that was in the screenshot. Both raw and 2.11 versions do same thing.
Well perhaps your jap version got corrupted when you downloaded it. Also the translator requires dotnet 3.5 (2.0. technically but 2.0 is merged into 3.5 I believe) to run properly. Windows 10 doesn't have 3.5 installed by default.
Windows 7 i use,and thanks for DotNet info. I recently had format switching to 32 bit so i forgot to install all these thousands of packages back on place so everything would work.

The Main storyline form Dargoth is up to the start of the Snow Continent, but the DokuDoku Team has done their own translation for the rest of the storyline since Dargoth has been dragging his feet with translating on his end, When Dargoth finally finishes translating on his end, his storyline translations will replace DokoDoku's. As for running the utility to translate you:
Make sure you have the Japanese version extracted and ready to go.
Run Ytinasni.RpgMaker.GameSelector.exe and select the Japanese version of the game's main directory and it will process the game into a translatable format (within it's own directory).
Afterwards unzip the Dargoth files, and move all the files and folders into the Utility's Script folder (Additional Files Folder, Common Events, etc all in that main folder, except progress.xlsx), overriding the existing files.
Then unzip the DokuDoku translation files and copy the "script" (not Scripts with a s) into the Utility's main directory overriding the Script folder there.
Run Ytinasni.RpgMaker.Translator.exe and when it's done it the Translated version of the game will be in the Utility's "Out" folder. Yes and no. You can't run a translated version through GameSelector (not without problems with the translation being applied), so initially need the Jap version for GameSelector. That said if you have already done this and are updating again and left all the folders and files (except the "Out" folder and it's contents) in place you can just drop the new translation files into the script folder and run Ytinasni.RpgMaker.Translator.exe again. But you do need the Japanese version for the intial run (for GameSelector).
Combined yes, it's an incomplete game though, the company releases it's game in three parts. We're still waiting for Part 3, which is suppose to come out sometime this year.
hey if anyone is still looking at this page i played this game about half way i think just got to the part where you have to choose navy or pirates and english just goes away i checked other websites and found later english patches but it won't let me install them does anyone either know how to or have a later version of this game with more english in it
Seems to be,just been playing and it was English,though there are some(seems to be when in battle and the slime girls said something)that was in Japanese.Still playable though.
The translators(Dargoth) didn't translate it because not that much people are interested in the H-Scenes and only part 1 of the game has it's story translated.
