I seem to have a problem with the files. It sends me straight to Fin's route even when I want to do the other routes. Should I have the real base game? I restarted all my progress by deleting the one given here, and played the game with what was given by Amelia. Edit: Nevermind, it seems that Fin's route is just one big chunk of 1.3 gig whew.
hi sorry this is quite an old comment but could i ask how you bypassed the problem? i just played through the main game and i would like to unlock the after story of ulrik, so i downloaded the dlc. i tried playing through like normal but when the "hide the bodies" choice appears if i select "impossible" i would get kicked back to the title, but if i choose "consider it" fin will go to trial. i havent tried progressing past that trial but is that fin's route already? doesnt it lead to the warden route? how could i access the bodyguard route if we were never thrown into the depths as a criminal in the first place?

So I was on my way to the last route until this notif come up and I can't open the game. It said that my "buriko interpreter is not working. How can I solve this ?

Try closing other programs since many has experienced the same problem, your problem is the game is there but when you hover your mouse it says not responding and you can't click to open the game right?. I solved it by closing Nox Emulator so try closing other programs. By opening Nox Emulators prevents me from playing the game
What you're saying is true but I don't have nox emulators tho I used to have it. Also, I for once the game opened then it stopped working just like you said.
So I've played this game twice and I can't seem to save my progress. I've make sure to save it, but once I close the game I will comeback and find the saved game disappear. Am I supposed to create a new safe folder in the game folder ? Please help me, I played 1 route for 6 hours it's crazy to restart it all the time :')
Just like the comment below, try closing other program which can interrupt the game. I also got the same problem like you but after i closed Nox Emulator in my computer , i can play the game now so yeah.... Nox caused Steam Prison not responding
Actually , he has a route in the ps vita , but it's in japense & the game developpers didn't translate it and droped it in the game version of the Pc ..
Such issues are a major pain in the ass. And there's no one you can really blame for them. Side effects/interactions with other software are among the worst things a programmer can encounter. Hopefully it will resolve for you - 'somehow'.

I mean, I haven't really played any reverse harem games, but from my understanding it's just the 'girls' version' of a harem VN, right? If so then, considering that that's how it usually is in regular harem VNs, you choose the one character you'd like to end up with and "whore yourself out" to pretty much that character only. In anime harems - sure, since they almost always present the "end up with everybody" route. But in VNs you usually just pursue a single character at a time and try to go for that 'true love' ending... tho you still often can just go for the 'all-route' if you'd like to I guess...

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are running Logitech Gaming Software (LGS), the game will stall while loading (and while quitting). You'll have to close LGS to start (or close) the game. Once the main menu screen appears, it's safe to start LGS again (e.g. to have the keyboard lighting you configured). [EDIT: See replies for other possible causes!]
I'm afraid I can't do more than give some tips. It was the same for me - only the taskbar icon that showed either a white or a black thumbnail on mouseover. As I replied to Sing (below): Any software that plugs itself in between the game and the hardware can cause such effects. In all games where I saw this effect it was the LGS. For Sing (below) it was a tablet driver. Generally speaking, if you have I/O devices with configurable LED, that is a highly probable target to have a closer look at. Perhaps also driver configuration software like GeForce Experience might be worth looking at (this specifically has never caused any problems for me though).
I just tried again by closing every program that is hidden in the taskbar, including Viber, Skype and Mega. I used to close Viber before, but it didn't work, so maybe Mega caused the problem. Now I can enjoy the game. Thank you very much for your tips ^^
I wouldn't know anything else. But you could try to stop any programs you might be running that mount themselves in the path between the game and any hardware driver. E.g. if you have a mouse or a keyboard with LED that can be configured via software.
