For anyone wondering why the DLC are locked: When you mount the iso and you finish the install, you have to go and check the folder inside that iso which says "DLC". Inside it, you will find 3 different installers, each one for its own DLC. Finish those installations and you will be good to go
Few things could cause that, but the easiest is to check on anti virus. When you click on the game it'll run a program in the background that acts like a spyware but its not, it just pretending to be steam that give a green light to the game to run. But windows defender think it was a virus so it kills it instantly, so the game crash because it was waiting for a response but got none. so open windows defender, and allow the threats. But make sure the threat is coming from the game directory and not something that you downloaded in the past, the game is safe.

Definitely doesn't have the hotfix, on the edge houses are still broke when you reject saving london. However, with more searching it doesn't look like anyone fixed the crack with the hotfix in it either so.....
I redownloaded it using the google link and the file dates and names are all identical to my original download so I am going with no. Going to play a quick on the edge playthrough (since there is a really easy bug test there) and will be back.
why are the download links looks so sketchy? why do they have part 1 and part 2? do i need to install both parts? and why my anti-virus detects a High-risk Generic/Trojan.1b5?
They're split into 2 parts for the people who have unstable internet and either can only download 1 at a time or have it fail often, also due to file size constraints on file hosting websites- you have to download both parts, and extract them both into the same file, and THEN install. Nearly all cracks are detected as Trojans, it's a false-positive, it's not a virus- it's detecting the crack and wants to remove it- if you allow it to, the game won't run.
how are the choices hard? the people are just numbers. they implemented names etc. for each single person and they could have made much more with it, they did not. I seriously have no issues with leaving some bytes in the snow to die. If there were characters among them, actually influencing the story, yes it would feel like hard choices. But they are all generic "characters" without consequences if a certain one dies.
you can look it that way, or you can look at it as a normal human with feelings, and actually make the choices you'd make if it was real. Even leaving out bytes to die or enabling byte children to work in horrendous conditions is horrible... If you don't get those feelings, you sure are a damn heart-less monster....
As i said before, if they put any effort in giving the characters actual personalities, traits or ANYTHING. I would not think that way. But with the same reasoning i should feel sorry for the civilians and soldiers in command and conquer... which is nuts.
I see.... Yeah, it's about the same for me when playing a hunting game, I don't have much issue with shooting a 3D mesh, but I'd never shoot a defense-less deer cub in real life... The game does create a good atmosphere for you to care enough, often making each of your people valuable (at least at the start), and in return making you care about them
I mean if it was the case of my survival I would, I just wouldn't shoot one while casually hunting... But people have gone to cannibalism in survival conditions, so that doesn't say much.... x_x
In the scenarios, yes, people are valuable. In endless mode where you find new people again and again... they just become numbers. If the reduced the qty of people to 20% while increasing productivity of each to 500%. and maybe adding more story arcs even in endless mode (like the automaton engineer event chain) and maybe branches etc. depending on your decision. Yes, then i would care a lot more about them. But the people themselves (dissent/hope) forget dead people incredibly fast, no matter who of them died.
Maybe some help for people who cannot install the game : you need to check your quarantine folder and authorize the file "setup.exe" because it was flagged by my antivirus. It's the first time it happened to me on an .iso file though. Previous versions of the game available here were not cracked by Hoodlum. But in the end the game runs fine, so enjoy.
it said "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." and suddenly my setup.exe went missing out of thin air
For me, it was an other raison for this error. The setup file wanted to install the game into a folder that didn't existed. So, after I changed the path for a current, existing folder, it was running fine and perfectly. For me, it wasn't related to the Anti-Virus issue.
for the new downloaders I found a problem I looked for and solved the game does not start I got an error message mscp 140.dll not found and msvcr120.dll not found and vcruntime140.dll and vcruntime140_1.dll download the dll version 64 not 32 on the internet and copy them to the game folder then normally the game will work

This game is not down on google drive. Also, MegaUp doesn't cost money and doesn't have a premium membership. If you don't want to use Mega, then use MegaUp, or any of other links. They're not decorations, they're meant to be used, so use them. IGG only re-uploads when every last link goes down. That's the policy.

Is the file size less than 5 MB? Did you get the file directly, or have you used an exe? If the answer to any of the questions is yes, you downloaded an ad. Please try downloading the files again and make sure you get the correct ones.

For anyone that might have an issue with updates, check to make sure the installed version is 1.2.0. If it isn't, the 1.2.0 update won't work and you will have to re-download the game. I can confirm that the MegaUp links download the 1.2.0 version of the game.

Hello, First, open the game b4 applying any update, look at the left down corner of the title screen and there'll be the version. If its 1.0.x or 1.1.x then you cant "jump" to 1.2.1, first you need to apply the "The fall of winterhome" dlc, which is the 1.2.0 version. Only after that you can start updating from 1.2.1.

For anybody having trouble with the torrent, the only way you can properly update the game is if you get the game through megaup because the torrent is out of date and the other file hosts are taken down.

You need to download the update There should be an update folder and a cracked folder. Run the setup file in the update folder first and select the correct path to the game install folder. Then copy/paste the files in the cracked folder to the game directory
I installed the 1.0 install (and it runs fine) but cannot install the 1.2.1 update either. I get many hash errors/missing files in codex installer. ( did copy files across after 1.0 install. Any ideas?

Got a bug with the book of laws showing up. The fix is appearantly to verify the game files but it's not like you can easily get steam to do that for a cracked game. Anyone know an alternative fix?

Everything is tested and scanned before being uploaded, this website is virus free. If you get a trojan, it's false positive, like explained http://igg-games.com/virus-trojan.html. Just use another server, it only happened with files under 100mb and only with Google Drive for some reason.

So I cancelled the Frostpunk setup.exe because I set the it to the location but to my dismay the entire folder it was going to prior was missing but the Gigabytes it used are still present. Like does anyone have a clue what I should do?

i have done everything right with the game and update and still it just says "its stopped working" when i start it as administrator i dont know if the files are broken and a reupload is needed but id really like this to get fixed
files are good, do you know if your computer meets the requirements for the game to run? if yes, check that u have latest directx, and Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package, if thats up to date make shure that anti-aliasing from graphics card control panel is disabled, if u are using a custom resolution and/or downsampling you might want to disable that too

Hi, i installed the game but when i open it, my screen goes full black and says that the monitor doesnt detect that theres a computer connected to it, like as if a resolution was higher than what the monitor can handle, i play other games at 1920x1200 is there a way to fix that bug or whatever it is? i even left the game running for like 5 mins and no change, not even a crash or a error anything at all, had to ALT+F4 to be able to use the computer again, not even ALT+ENTER or ALT+TAB worked had to close the game.
Maby it will help you to turn off the full screan? look for the GfxConfig config file and eddit in there the Full screen mode=False hope it will help you
small tip, if you make your scouts enter tesla city theres a 50/50 chance that they will die( and lose the resourses with them) , but the location will open for a heat cores outpost (you can send a empty scout team to do it), 1 per day, tesla city gets avariable after winterhome events unfolds either ur dscovery or lone survivor arrives at day 15ish you just need to head in the direction where the storm comes, or the american camp wich is more or less the same

Game is really easy to complete once you set yourself up in the first 5 minutes of the game. A single run can be played in 6 hours. Just make sure you rush housing upgrades and get a factory going with prosthetics and its easy. Also have at least 5 medic bays at the start and explore quickly for more people. The game is hard at the very start, gets harder, gets even harder after you discover winterhome, then it gets really friggin easy. Then the last few days of winter is hard again but you should be fine if you paid enough attention to your people. Dont make promises you cannot keep. i respectfully disagree, since i finished the game in hard with 1 medic bay, and focusing mostly in resourses/heat and automation tech,neither built prostetics i just built the infirmary and most of them got healed before frostbite made amputes, but ..since there are many ways to pass this game other people will have diferent ways to win
if main game installer, should look like this, the option is highlighted in yellow, followed of the red line, the update file does not have the autocrack option, you will need to do it manual
you know what this game needs? moar scenarios... or a "rebuild" post storm gameplay where u can make ur outpost grow as small cities, that and more fixes for the poor boys that cant run the game

Not shure how it doesnt work for so many people, it works perfectly for me, never crashed and i have huge fps. I already finished all 3 starting scenarios so now il wait for updates and then buy the game. Beacuse in my opinion it is pretty good and i like it. The sound design and animations are amazing. The graphics look very good and are actually very well optimized. The story is also very interesting and i like it, looking forward to what new scenarios will come out.

just try restarting your pc. sometimes it does that. i closed the app and tried to reopen it right away and it wouldnt open even under admin but when i restart it worked fine

Anyone else finding this game stupidly unfair and basically linear in its stupidity? Even if one finds the optimal build order and doesnt get screwed by RNG this game will screw you anyway pretty early even on settings partially lower than medium. After 10 attempts i just lost any interest in this bullcrap hipster shit.
there is no RNG in this game(except with some locations, still 4 outcomes), most of it is made from linear events with some options some events trigger depending on status(more than 3 automations, starvation, wounded people, homeless, ect), now the temperature changes and the storm is completelly linear
if you find the optimal build order then you wont get screwed... otherwise it isnt optimal is it? it took you 10 attempts but i failed my first try only after 45 minutes making it to day 17 i think, and then the next try, on stream btw, i spent the next 5-6 hours and survived all 48 days... the only rng i saw was the scouting and that isnt a major rng mechanic. you can survive just fine without finding materials in the scouting. you have to be smart about where you go, when, and what you build. if you lost the game 10 times and you think its because the game is "stupidly unfair", then you sir obviously did something or many things wrong. on an additional note in anticipation of you saying i must play these types of games all the time, no sir i do not. this was actually my first ever because i normally cant stand these types of games. they usually bore me within 10 minutes of gameplay. Frostpunk was different however, it was very interesting and fun. i found myself lost in the game and by the end of the stream i realized i hadnt been playing the game for 2 hours like it felt, i had been playing for almost 6.

Exactly my problem. I give a name to the file and click save, but when I try to load the game again there's nothing there...the game doesnt save, really weird. The only solution that I found was to download another realease of the game. Now I can save normally.
Which release of the game did you download? I started with the torrent, then tried the http://MegaUpload.net .. I'm thinking not all of them have the same file.. Which one did you download?
thats part of the problem it installs all the "files" into the folder with the codex but the codex goes poof after that XD and when I force the installation into its own folder and then put the codex in it still does nothing doesn't even start up which is why i am pretty sure it doesn't actually install the whole game
I got the contents inside the codex folder back where the setup is and put it in the frostpunk folder replacing what it needs to replace. After that, it works and the game was able to start.
hmmm that sounds plausible but does it matter which download link I use? I try using the google drive one but like its over used so I can't so I'm using the other links and I have no past experience using them
It doesn't matter which one you use they are all the same , try disabling any antivirus or security program that you have before you install the game see if that works.
the game isnt saving anything what so ever. i went to that directory and theres config.bin and iphoneprofiles. i saved the game with that directory open and nothing changed, i also was unable to load that save. :/ i cracked properly and installed. i would like to save my progress of surviving all 48 days and unlocking ark mode after 20. i streamed the entire thing on twitch, i dont want that to be the only record of my progress

Its usually 8 bit version of real songs. Last codex installer using prodigy smack my bitch up. The retro one is from Gameboy era. Usually anyone not born in the 80s would never recognise it. :)

Im below min specs for gpu only running a basic gtx 750. But someone down in the comments here says hes able to play on medium settings with a gtx 550 TI, also only has 1 gb vram like my 750 so not sure if its that?

Yeah Horde Mode, but gears of War 2 much better... .this one and the last not so good. Only graphics ok but for the Rest of the game not enough Motivation or money .. or both! and one of the worst endings in a gow game

Replace the file %appdata%/11bitstudios/Frostpunk/config.bin with this: https://uploadfiles.io/zatl4 and it will open in windowed mode, then change the settings in game as you please. It worked for me.
Well, if you're ok with low framerates and stutters it's ok, if not then I recommend you avoiding it. Minimum requirements most of the time are just suggestions not the rule.

The game is working fine for me on Win7 x64. Played for about 1.5 hours without any crashes or bugs. Sure, some mechanics may be slightly ill-explained, but part of the fun of a city-builder (which this is imo) is learning whilst playing.

Downloaded from Google Drive. After copying the crack, game fails to start, saying that D3DCompiler_47.dll is missing. So I installed KB4019990: https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4019990. But now, everytime I try to launch the game, it says Frostpunk has stopped working.
Trying to install from the link doesn't work, it says I have a newer version of DirectX installed already. Anyway, steam page says that DirectX11 is required, which I do.
I already have DirectX11 installed. I can get the game to run, it's just that after clicking new game I am stuck at the loading screen, after which the game crashes.
it does not matter if you have a newer version i have directx 12 out of the box when i install windows 10 but i still install directx and c++ 2010, 2012, 2015 both 64 bit and 32 bit and dont have a problem playing all the games that i install since then thats my common practice when i reinstall windows

I also use windows 10 and i sometimes get that problem with some games but not all games. The problem is not with the game but with the PC. Updating the PC might help.
Try to reduce the resolution, if you have 1920.1080 reduce it to 1 slower, then test and if it lags reduce everytime 1 more. from 1920.1080 to 1700 it can give you 10 fps
Hey, click right click on desktop, go nvidia settings, then change some options there. activate all cpu cores, etc etc. with this i can get ez from 35-40fps in a game to 45-55. i hope it will help you.
We dont want to upload GOG version, because if this game have many update in future, Steam version will get it fast, GOG will slow update then, that why ;) . I uploaded many games with GOG version, but most of them are converted to steam version after a while. Besides a few major updates, you also need to download the entire game
When you mount the iso and you finish the install, you have to go and check the folder inside that iso which says "DLC". Inside it, you will find 3 different installers, each one for its own DLC. Finish those installations and you will be good to go

Nearly all cracks are detected as Trojans, it's a false-positive, it's not a virus- it's detecting the crack and wants to remove it- if you allow it to, the game won't run.
The game still gets boring extremely fast.
Atmosphere is top quality, but it is like eating plastic fruits.

There should be an update folder and a cracked folder. Run the setup file in the update folder first and select the correct path to the game install folder. Then copy/paste the files in the cracked folder to the game directory

Just use another server, it only happened with files under 100mb and only with Google Drive for some reason.

If you're looking for a simple city-builder mixed with some time-management mechanics, sadistic laws and reforms, do not hesitate: It's one of the best RTS games of 2018.

The game is hard at the very start, gets harder, gets even harder after you discover winterhome, then it gets really friggin easy. Then the last few days of winter is hard again but you should be fine if you paid enough attention to your people. Dont make promises you cannot keep.

I already finished all 3 starting scenarios so now il wait for updates and then buy the game. Beacuse in my opinion it is pretty good and i like it.
The sound design and animations are amazing.
The graphics look very good and are actually very well optimized.

on an additional note in anticipation of you saying i must play these types of games all the time, no sir i do not. this was actually my first ever because i normally cant stand these types of games. they usually bore me within 10 minutes of gameplay. Frostpunk was different however, it was very interesting and fun. i found myself lost in the game and by the end of the stream i realized i hadnt been playing the game for 2 hours like it felt, i had been playing for almost 6.
