You should 1 - copy all 4 files+folders inside 'Bypass', into 'The.Climb.VR\crytek_climb_wip\bin\win_x64' 2 - Delete attributes.xml as said 3 - Drag 'Climb.exe' on the top of ReviveInjector_x64.exe (This will open the game without issues)

I just used your technique and it works wonderfully. To go further, you can directly launch Revive Injector with Climb.exe as parameter via shortcut. (So you don't have to drag and drop every time) You just have to do these simple steps :
Create a shortcut to Revive injector
Put path inside double quotes "" and add Climb.exe path also with double quotes separated by a space.
Whenever I run the Climb.exe it loads some tips and says loading but then the screen goes black and I see the climb logo on the ground and my monitor says "user is not entitled application will be terminated" All I did was extract the first part and then look for the climb.exe and run it
For anyone still trying to get this to work, ignore both the included crack, and the CRACKFIX. Neither worked for me. If you have already tried other cracks, you will need to delete everything you added, or just delete the whole game and extract from http://The.Climb.VR.zip again. Then go into The.Climb.VR\crytek_climb_wip\user\options\default folder and delete attributes.xml The game will make a new one for you. If you don't delete this file, then you won't be able to change the graphics options, and it will be stuck at 70% resolution and look really bad. Then extract the Gammon files you just downloaded into your The.Climb.VR\crytek_climb_wip\bin\win_x64 folder. Extract all the files directly into the win_x64 folder without creating a new subfolder like gammon_steamvr. Rename xinput1_3.dll to xinput9_1_0.dll To run the game just run Climb.exe directly in that same folder. No need for injectors or loaders. Everything runs great, and it even saves your game! If you want to change the name it shows for your profile in-game, then edit the GammonConfig.ini file in the game bin\win_x64 folder. There is a line with Oculus ID = CHANGE_ME. Replace CHANGE_ME with whatever you want as your profile name. The first time you run it, it will create a new attributes.xml settings file, so you'll have to go to the graphics settings and turn everything up to how you like it. It will also default the gameplay settings and grip/trigger swap, so you'll have to set that up. It will then save your settings and your game progress from then on. Hope this helps someone!
Sounds like an incompatibility between Revive and the Valve Index. Most people seem to mention this problem a couple of years ago, and said using an older version of Revive fixed it, but the version they said works (1.7.3) is really old now, so I don't know if that's a good fix anymore: https://www.reddit.com/r/VRGaming/comments/cs7whv/first_time_revive_user_cant_get_anything_working/ I don't have an Index or Index controllers, so I can't test anything myself.

Is it normal when loading the game, the game square in the headset is small and the background all around is all red saying "REPLACE ME" Did I do something wrong?
I've not heard of that before. Does the game run OK after it finishes loading? Did you set all the options in the graphics menu after running the game for the first time?
OK, yeah that looks pretty messed up. The closest I've had to that is after running the game and closing it, running it a second time can be messed up with triangles missing all over the place. Hope it works better after a re-install!
So what do you recommend me to do after reinstalling. The user folder only appears when the game is first launched so, should I launch it twice without touching the games files to see if it will display that issue again?
The user folder is already present in the http://The.Climb.VR.zip file, so I would make sure you're unzipping it with "extract relative paths" turned on.
The torrent version which matches the version we're using here also just contains one http://The.Climb.VR.zip file that then needs unzipping with paths. You can get it from here: # It's a shame to have to download it all over again, since it's not small, but with this torrent you should be reasonably certain it will work.
It sounds like missing/broken data to me, but worth seeing if it loads. If not, perhaps delete and try installing again? The "REPLACE ME" thing is weird, as it sounds like placeholder art, which would presumably have been replaced in the release version.

I've not heard of that one. Did all the folders extract OK this time? This is apparently a CryEngine error, and other people have suggested updating your graphics card drivers if you get this error with different games. Sorry I can't be more help.
You could try using 7-zip instead of WinRar, too. I've had issues where WinRar wouldn't open .7z files saying they were corrupt, when they were actually fine, and opened normally with 7-zip. Worth a try! (Though I think I used WinRar myself for this one. It may depend on how old your WinRar is.)

You have to download all 3 of them, extract the game in the same folder with winrar or 7zip then if there is problem please search google or comment here.

Hi I had trouble with this in the beginning too. But is is very simple: You just download all 3 parts to the same folder. After that you select all of them at once (Take your mouse and pull over all files) right click and press extract all. It will automatically create a new folder for you where all the parts will be combined.
For Quest 2 Users: You cannot use Virtual Desktop to play this game. Simply as that. It doesn't recognize a VR headset as being connected when doing so. Maybe if you launch it through SteamVR. Haven't checked. But using LINK cable, you can use the Shy Guys guide for an EZ install on the Quest 2.
I followed those instructions and on QUEST2 i get a message: you have a pending hardware problem thats preventing you from entering VR (sth like that). Any ideas?

Tried launching the game directly as per Shy Guy's instructions but with no luck. I get the "no headset detected" message if I do that. If I launch SteamVR first and use the Revive injector the game starts to load but just on a virtual screen inside the SteamVR loading scene. After a couple of loading screen tips it freezes with the error "user is not entitled" Any tips? I've followed Shy Guy's instructions twice and I'm using a HP Reverb G2.

the game saves server side if I recall right it's already enough that it works...besides I would think that if you can afford a 600$ vr set (I don't even honestly keep track of the cost anymore) you can afford to buy a vr game once in a while...

I am not able to save because i'm not able to make money, sure I could save money that my parents give me but I don't because I don't ask them for money in the first place unless I really need to because they're already allowing me to study which hopefully will one day make me able to have an income and as I said if you're able to afford to spend 250$ you can wait a few months to get 40$ and then play the damn game for the rest of the year, besides I cant even run most of vr games because I have a laptop which is almost 7 years old
I usually start these type of games after opening steam vr. Once you get to the lobby open the game and that should work. Verify how to crack it with the featured comment above
Yeah, It took quite some time to download the game. Cracking appeared impossible since I always recieved error messages. Even if it would have worked, the game does not Save. Quite honestly, you shouldn't download this game, not worth it. Thanks to @Peanut1337:disqus for putting the time and effort into trying to provide us with it, though.

Are you aware that you included the crack to Robo Recall in the X64 folder? The game just keeps telling me Im not entitled and none of the cracks works at all.
Ok guys this was by far the hardest game to install a crack on. I have no idea how I got it to work. But you have to fiddle with the directories and piece the cracks together then run it with revive injector and NOT launcher for it to work. Honestly don't bother it doesn't save it crashes a lot and its not worth the work.

Tried to run this for a few hours on vive without success. If I run the launcher.exe, I get error message no contact with headset etc. If I run climb.exe with the ReviveInstaller it starts in VR but after it loads it says User not allowed (so crack not running). I don't understand why you made an exe instead of a batch file which people can cofigure (for example, Vive users could add a line to run climb.exe with the ReviveInstaller). Also I believe launcher.exe has no virus (eset didnt find any in it), but windows defender doesnt like it... Problem with cracks that they work only on the crackers computer, nowhere else. Anyway, waiting for a discount on this game then, thx for trying.
Did you download an exe file? When opening the exe, did you get a rar file, or am I missing something? If the above is true, you downloaded an ad, make sure you get the correct file.
You don't have to shut down you antivirus but you have to add an exception for LAUNCHER.exe if your antivirus keeps deleting the file or does not allow you to open it.
Have you read the "CRACKFIX (18th MARCH 2019)"? You need the correct crack and be sure that your antivirus does not delete the relevant files. What exactly does not work?
Why is there no real crack and we need to use injectors/loaders? Most games that are cracked use patched files. Do all cracked games that use Denuvo make use of injectors/loaders?
Use another browser or something. You need this file because it contains the crack-files that you have to copy&paste in your gamefolder. It is safe though - definitively no virus inside. Make sure your antivirus does not delete the "LAUNCHER.exe" because you need this to start the game.

If you plan on using them, yes. If you have an htc vive, i dont know if you need to install the oculus software. But its a vr game, so you need a headset to play i guess.

So, I have downloaded the game, put the crack fix files into the win_x64 folder and replaced them, I do not use anti viruses because I don't care if I have to wipe my pc and they annoy me with all their false alarms, When I run the launcher it says I have a pending Hardware Issue (I am using an HTC Vive and am Running Revive) I tried dragging the climb onto the injector and it doesn't work, I tried running the launcher too, same thing. This message means your game is not cracked. Are you sure you unzipped all files from the archive to the right directory and are you sure you are using the LAUNCHER.exe? If there is no LAUNCHER.exe your Anti-Virus may have deleted it due to unknown signature but its clean and no virus. Maybe try whitelist this file or temporarily disable Anti-Virus.
It's not working. I downloaded and unzipped the file you recommended as linked above, copied all the contents inside the win_x64 folder into the same named folder for the game (which is the file I initially downloaded to get the game), and I don't see a LAUNCHER.exe so I clicked the The Climb application icon to start the game, then the game starts and I get the entitle check and can't proceed any further with the game. Edit: OK, I think it's important to actually mention that once you've done the above stuff you actually need to drag The Climb application icon onto the Reviveinjector_X64 application icon to actually get the cracked version of the game to then run properly. It's kinda important and not at all obvious to any layman. Now it's working.
Youre anti-virus must have deleted the LAUNCHER.exe which is not a virus though. I created it with the program "bat2exe" and somehow some anti-viruses delete those files. With the LAUNCHER.exe it would have worked instantly because it basically does the same thing which you did: "drag The Climb application icon onto the Reviveinjector_X64"
Hey guys! Everybody has issues launching the game because this download comes with the wrong crack. Here is a working LAUNCHER plus the neccessary crack-files (dll's). So you later only have to copy the Launcher shortcut (with Climb Icon) to desktop and will have no troubles starting the game. Just unzip, copy and paste files from "win_x64"-folder of this 7zip-file into the "win_x64"-folder of your game and use LAUNCHER.exe to play. Do you have Rift or Vive? Your error means that your game is not cracked! So again, the files are still up (mirror not down), download the "TC-VR.7zip" and make sure that your anti-virus does not delete the "LAUNCHER.exe". In the zip file should be these 6 files in "bin/win_x64/": (folder) x64 ReviveInjector_x64.exe openvr_api.dll LibRevive64_1.dll LAUNCHER.exe info.txt Copy all files in the "win_x64"-folder of your installation path. Use LAUNCHER.exe to start the game. If something is missing deactivate your anti-virus or create an exceptional rule.

Help, I'm getting the entitlement check, I'm using the latest version of Revive. Have occulus software installed. Trying to play with the HTC Vive. Plus the included crack is RoboRecall crack not The Climb. Love this site by the way, all other occlus games work with revive like RoboRecall, Lone Echo etc.

No offence your grammar is bad, but regardless maybe you should consider not everyone uses vr and those who use vr usually don't pirate, and as of my experience the game saves with no issues. if you want it to work correctly just buy it.

The launcher and some crack-files as the ReviveLauncher and two DLLs (which are actually the real ones and not those which you get here, and everybody has problems with). I confirm that they work 100% with my oculus. You still can't save though because savedata are saved in the cloud which is not working with a cracked game. Dear Lorenz, I heard that the crack is not working for everybody and I found out why. Problem was that my crack required some files of the crack which comes with the original download. Try installing Remixed ( revive for mixed reality, it is included with revive latest release ). Then install the oculus software, and press skip hardware options or something like that on the installer * too lazy to check * and then do the crack (or bypass) and the game should work. I have an Acer headset with Remixed/Revive and wit works fine on Oculus games. I still haven't played the game, so I will play it later and tell you if it works or not. It works but YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD the file! Dont use the one in the gamepackage, just put all the files from 'bypass.rar' in the same folder with climb.exe, than drag that to reviveinjector_64.exe

ist works fine for me. just Play the turorial with xbox Controller and after that Change the Control Settings to the second choice and the vive controller working fine.
i have a Rift. Game works for me. Just drag the "climb.exe" in "I:\The.Climb.VR\crytek_climb_wip\bin\win_x64" to "ReviveInjector_x64" in "I:\The.Climb.VR_CRACK" But unfortunately only the xbox gamepad is recognized. I see my touch controllers, but cant control anything with them....anyone an idea?
I'm having the same issue, game works fine, just can't change controllers to the Touch. The xbox one controller works fine. Touch controllers detect but none of the buttons work. I suspect its due to going through revive that the button presses aren't being captured.
You're not having the same issue as above at all, his is working apart from the touch controller. Just click and drag climb.exe onto the reviveinjector_x64.exe (within another instance of explorer) and it will launch. For me I found having oculus home running, and SteamVR also running first to fix some issues.
Hey dude, i have the same problem as you with the touch controller and the game can launch with the ReviveInjector_x64 from this package, i only tried other injector because i want to fix touch controller issue, i found other injectors from another website and normally you have one crack for oculus user that will not use STEAM VR and one other for HTC VIVE user, like this one, Sadly they are all obsolete ===> "i am not entitled to play the game" does anybody can launch the game and play with touch controllers? thanks
I've since read that if you complete the tutorial it then allows you to change the controllers. I managed to do it by accident too during the tutorial but I don't know how I did it as I couldn't repeat it. The saving issue looks like it will never be fixed though as the save game files are stored on their server and never locally.

You don't need to copy anything anywhere, just open 2 instances of explorer and click and drop climb.exe from one explorer on to reviveinjector_x64.exe within the other explorer window and it will launch without entitlement error.
i tried to copy the files in the crack folder in all folders... start the introduction, and.....black screen and on oculus menu it is written : no sensor
I think It can work but you need a program that can emulate the Oculus such as Revive. But you may have some trouble with the controls... As this game is made for Oculus... Hope I can help 3;

Nah, I played on the Rift S and it worked just fine. If you look there is a folder named crack. There's also a guide made by someone cause the revive's outdated. If you switch comments to most relevant it should be at the top.

open the zip file (the zip extractor I use is WinRAR) then extract the
file to your downloads folder (or one you choose) and double click on it

The.Climb.VR\crytek_climb_wip\user\options\default and delete the
attributes.xml. This is to let you be able to change the settings
in-game. Finally, drag the game (Climb.exe) to the
ReviveInjector_x64.exe then it should open the game and the problem
should now be fixed. Now you're all done! Enjoy!
You should
1 - copy all 4 files+folders inside 'Bypass', into 'The.Climb.VR\crytek_climb_wip\bin\win_x64'
2 - Delete attributes.xml as said
3 - Drag 'Climb.exe' on the top of ReviveInjector_x64.exe (This will open the game without issues)

To go further, you can directly launch Revive Injector with Climb.exe as parameter via shortcut. (So you don't have to drag and drop every time)
You just have to do these simple steps :
- Create a shortcut to Revive injector
- Put path inside double quotes "" and add Climb.exe path also with double quotes separated by a space.
- You now should have something like this :

Password is csDOTrinDOTru for all of them. Type an actual dot (period) rather than DOT.
For all the SteamVR headsets, install the latest Revive. Currently 2.1.1.
Extract the full game files cleanly first. If you have already tried other cracks, you will need to delete everything you added, or just delete the whole game and extract from http://The.Climb.VR.zip again.
Then go into The.Climb.VR\crytek_climb_wip\user\options\default folder and delete attributes.xml The game will make a new one for you. If you don't delete this file, then you won't be able to change the graphics options, and it will be stuck at 70% resolution and look really bad.
Then extract the Gammon files you just downloaded into your The.Climb.VR\crytek_climb_wip\bin\win_x64 folder.
Extract all the files directly into the win_x64 folder without creating a new subfolder like gammon_steamvr.
Rename xinput1_3.dll to xinput9_1_0.dll
To run the game just run Climb.exe directly in that same folder. No need for injectors or loaders.
Everything runs great, and it even saves your game! If you want to change the name it shows for your profile in-game, then edit the GammonConfig.ini file in the game bin\win_x64 folder. There is a line with Oculus ID = CHANGE_ME. Replace CHANGE_ME with whatever you want as your profile name.
The first time you run it, it will create a new attributes.xml settings file, so you'll have to go to the graphics settings and turn everything up to how you like it. It will also default the gameplay settings and grip/trigger swap, so you'll have to set that up. It will then save your settings and your game progress from then on.

It's a shame to have to download it all over again, since it's not small, but with this torrent you should be reasonably certain it will work.
The "REPLACE ME" thing is weird, as it sounds like placeholder art, which would presumably have been replaced in the release version.

But is is very simple:
You just download all 3 parts to the same folder. After that you select all of them at once (Take your mouse and pull over all files) right click and press extract all.
It will automatically create a new folder for you where all the parts will be combined.
You cannot use Virtual Desktop to play this game. Simply as that. It doesn't recognize a VR headset as being connected when doing so. Maybe if you launch it through SteamVR. Haven't checked. But using LINK cable, you can use the Shy Guys guide for an EZ install on the Quest 2.

If I launch SteamVR first and use the Revive injector the game starts to load but just on a virtual screen inside the SteamVR loading scene. After a couple of loading screen tips it freezes with the error "user is not entitled"
Any tips? I've followed Shy Guy's instructions twice and I'm using a HP Reverb G2.

I got Lancher.exe.
X64 also received.
But every time it runs, it tells me about Hardware Isus: No Device.
Are you sure you unzipped all files from the archive to the right directory and are you sure you are using the LAUNCHER.exe?
If there is no LAUNCHER.exe your Anti-Virus may have deleted it due to unknown signature but its clean and no virus.
Maybe try whitelist this file or temporarily disable Anti-Virus.
Edit: OK, I think it's important to actually mention that once you've done the above stuff you actually need to drag The Climb application icon onto the Reviveinjector_X64 application icon to actually get the cracked version of the game to then run properly. It's kinda important and not at all obvious to any layman.
Now it's working.
I created it with the program "bat2exe" and somehow some anti-viruses delete those files.
With the LAUNCHER.exe it would have worked instantly because it basically does the same thing which you did:
"drag The Climb application icon onto the Reviveinjector_X64"
Everybody has issues launching the game because this download comes with the wrong crack.
Here is a working LAUNCHER plus the neccessary crack-files (dll's).
So you later only have to copy the Launcher shortcut (with Climb Icon) to desktop and will have no troubles starting the game.
Just unzip, copy and paste files from "win_x64"-folder of this 7zip-file into the "win_x64"-folder of your game and use LAUNCHER.exe to play.

Your error means that your game is not cracked!
So again, the files are still up (mirror not down), download the "TC-VR.7zip" and make sure that your anti-virus does not delete the "LAUNCHER.exe".

You can search for the CORRECT crackfiles yourself and pull the ClimbVR.exe on the ReviveInjector_x64.exe.

I confirm that they work 100% with my oculus.
You still can't save though because savedata are saved in the cloud which is not working with a cracked game.
But you can play some levels when you don't end the game.

I heard that the crack is not working for everybody and I found out why. Problem was that my crack required some files of the crack which comes with the original download.
I now uploaded a new fixed crack which includes all neccessary files and should work perfectly for everybody.
