Finished downloading the other day, then realized there was no scene selector. So each scene just started with the girl greeting you. Now i have to download the entire other one.
you need : 1)wide slider mod last version, 2) gg mod 1.6.1 and 3) bonesframework.dll if you add those 3 mods you can install any card with face mod, like lunafreya from ff15 or dead or alive girls without problem

It's japanese version with all complete DLC and extra content uncensored and english patched, but without any mod installed*, so for you guys who just enter the game this is the fresh start.. The moding community is more focused on japanese version because it's the first one that get released first, plus it need time and extra work for the FAKKU version to catch up the modding capability of the japanese version because you can't just install the japanese mod into the FAKKU version.. Since THIS japanese version has no mod** installed on it, makes it more newbie friendly, and you can still chose which mod you want to install. The reason why the size is bigger than the HSU extended supposed to be, is because this one has more content like the Party DLC, battle arena DLC, and more, but still has no mod** in it. SUMMARY : Japanese version with all complite DLC and extra content uncensored and english patched whithout weird mod (base game) NOTE: The only mod i found in this one is, english mod, uncensored mod (which is necessary for us and already installed). And 4k skin pack <- this one is optional, it's not installed, so you can decide whether to install it or not (though I still install it because it makes the seams at crotch area blend more nicely)

I got a problem where I go into the game, press "begin game," and the buttons inside like meet girl and edit room don't work. I also didn't get a intro with Sitri and the call Sitri button isn't there either. But I can still use the f1 f2 f3 shortcuts tho. Anyone else got this?

You can create more characters yourself using the editor, or there's also sites where you can download premade characters created by other users. You can access the character creation editor from the main menu by selecting "customize character". From there, you can edit all aspects including traits, body styles, clothing, accessories ect. To save a character, be sure to rename it by going to the left side pane and select "Other", then choose "Name and Personality Settings". On the right side pane, create a new name, or you can use the random button to generate one automatically. It is very important to always remember to rename, or check the name of the character you're about to save. From there, you can now select "Save Character" in the left pane window, and on the right pane press "New Save". In the saving window, you can edit several aspects to create a character save card; these card images are placed in the same location on your hard drive where the character save file will also be stored for easy reference. Just know, a lot of prebuilt characters you can download from sites use mods, and you must install the needed mods to use the specific character. Mod requirements are often listed on the characters page. Recommended Mods: - Mod versions were the latest I could find. Now I just need to figure out installing mods and this whole character card thing, is the character card png file really the entire character file?
Its a single file. The PNG saves other data that allows the game to load your character. Only PNG files created by HS contain this extra information though, so a regular screen cap is not the same. To add or share your characters, its as simple as sharing the original PNG file; crazy right? On the Booru site for example... just drag and drop any of the pictures directly into the male or female character folders. Again remember, some characters may use additional mods, so its wise to always read the characters page to make sure.

There was actually a problem installing the WideSlider, as it was released for Honey Select and not Honey Select Unlimited; so you're gonna have to rename your game files to match those in the wideslider folder so that they can be patched. Within the rar file, you can see the names read ie HoneySelect_64_WideSliderPatch.exe; you need to rename your game files from "Honey Select Unlimited_64.exe" to "HoneySelect_64.exe".. you can follow the below steps if your having further difficulties.
Extract from the rar file the .exe patches and folder you'll be using in the game. I recommend the normal HoneySelect_64 patch, the desired VR patch and the studio patch. You must make sure to also extract the folder; overwrite any files if it asks.
You'll see how the files directly next to the files you need to change are named differently. Rename your .exe files to the following... Honey Unlimited Studio_64.exe --> HoneyStudio_64.exe Honey Unlimited Studio_32.exe --> HoneyStudio_32.exe Honey Select Unlimited_64.exe --> HoneySelect_64.exe Honey Select Unlimited_32.exe --> HoneySelect_32.exe Honey Select Unlimited VR Vive_64.exe --> HoneySelectVR_Vive.exe Honey Select Unlimited VR Oculus_64 --> HoneySelectVR.exe If you try to run the patch without renaming the specific file, it will tell you that it cannot find the file in the directory; simply rename that file to the name it says... pretty simple. Once You have renamed the files, run any one of the "HoneySelect_xx_WideSliderPatch.exe" programs and the game should start, and will be using the mod. After running each of the patch files at least once, you should be able to to run the normal HoneySelect_xx.exe or VR without running the patch again. You can either keep the patch in the game folder, or you can delete them. Again, as I said above, you may only have to patch the files you'll be using, but I thought it wise to explain in detail. You're a life saver, I would have never figured this stuff out. The problem now however is my new loaded character does not have a head. I am wondering if it is because where I downloaded it from it says "You'll need Wide Slider (INSTALLED AND THE GAME/STUDIO/NEO PATCHED WITH IT)" not sure what that bit means
That means you'll need to patch all of the files I listed, but I don't think the NEO patch is needed because its not included in Honey Select Unlimited. Did you patch all of the files; the game, the studio and vr?
Do you have to patch all of them with wide slider? I only patched HoneySelect_64.exe and the ones downloaded from ROY12 are not working. The characters are just not showing up.
Its wise to patch every file that Wide Slider requests, and I have found that without patching all files, some cards do not work; with this said, it should also be known that some cards created in HS will not work in HSU.. whether its due to the cards simply not being backwards compatible, I'm not entirely sure. Considering that there are several mods for HS that I did not mention above, it could also be possible the character is using another prerequisite mod that other cards do not use. Its entirely dependent on the specific card and what the original user had installed for mods. Keep this in mind of course if you ever wish to share your cards with someone else; always list the mods used and the version of HS used.
I believe the first HS was only released in Japanese and included a mod to enable nudity, while HS Unlimited was released to also include English and includes nudity without modding. There may be other things, but I think these were the biggest details.
Then you're probably not really missing out... I can't really say much, I haven't played the first HS. They're more or less identical from what I've read elsewhere though.

Yes - any applied mods would have to be redone, and the save is different between Unlimited and "regular" HS (including DLC). If you're happy with your regular HS, then I'd stick with the regular HS - you're not really gaining anything new or better with the Unlimited version. What I meant to say was that I started over all-new after migrating original HS data (with Studio and Battle Arena and VR and all that) to another drive, because the Launcher kept trying to use the original HS, and it's in machine code, and I'm too lazy to fix that. Some of the mods completely caused Unlimited to crash, at least in my experience, but I can imagine it wouldn't be worth the time to do all that stuff, moving things around and crash-testing. I just popped in some of the must-have mods, like eyeliner and lashes, and they worked well. In sum, to get Unlimited to work quickly, you start over, brand-new. It's looks nice - it's OK. But if your "original" HS is modded with basic stuff, then the original is better. Unlimited, however, has more playability in my opinion, because the girls are more, I dunno, more ... It's more fun? But the trade-off is mods. A suggestion might be to "strip down" the characters, so to speak, using blank everything, and moving them over to the Unlimited character folders, but if you used the slider mod or bone mod, then they will not work at all in Unlimited, because you would have to shift all the negative sliders to zero, or whatever number, making them look absolutely different. Neither the slider nor the bone mods worked for me. I heard they are working on updates; things like Battle Arena and stuff, so deeper mods might work eventually, but dem's the breaks right now as it stands on my end ...
I had the same problem; the only way I got it to work was forgetting the launcher and opening it from within the folder. Seeing that other people here had the same problem, I just moved my original HS with all the mods to another drive and reinstalled HS Unlimited, and that seemed to work.
Hi guys. Everything seems to be working fine, but I can't get the game to open as fullscreen, and the option to maximize it in the top right corner is not available, it's gray, so it's always windowed. Is there any way to force it as fullscreen?
Sure - in the folder "UserData," you will see a file called "setup.xml." Open that in any text editor (Notepad is fine), and on line 6 you will see a command called "FullScreen." Change that from "false" to "true" (no capitals). Additionally, if you have a widescreen monitor, change "Width" to 1920 and "Height" to 1080, or whatever your preferred screen size, and the "Size" to 1920 x 1080 (16 : 9) If you have two monitors, you can change "Display" on line 8 to either 1 or 2 (1 is usually your main monitor). Save and restart the program. Happy ... um ... Selecting!
So I downloaded the .rar, and extracted the contents into a folder on my desktop. As far as I can tell, I don't need a crack, or any installation (right...?) but every time I try to run the .exe, it crashes immediately. The launcher seems to work, but trying to launch the game from there crashes it too. Help...?
My um, friend, yeah, had the same problem. If you had a previous version of HS, and you installed in basically the same folder (as it wants to do), the "Launcher" keeps tacking on to the original version, and I think if it's modded in some way (I haven't had my, friend, go through all the mods to see what was bad) I think it messes things up. Most likely it is the bone mod or the clothes, but heck if I'm going to go through 1,500 files to figure that out. 1) You could uninstall the original (perhaps modded) HS and try to do the modding thing all over again, this time with HS Unlimited, or 2) You could do what my friend did, and bypass the Launcher and just open it from within the folder. Then, when it works (it did here), you can walk the mods from HS to HS Unlimited and see what breaks it.

After I got over the immediate laughter and loss of a moral compass, I enjoyed creating my own characters and watching them bed wrestle in many different positions. You can unlock more positions by completing achievements and raising girl' status. If you launch Launcher.exe you can access manual, you can also find manual in the game directory

Probably a dumb question, but, do you have a VR headset? Also, from what I've seen from other comments on VR games, you have to add some kind of command line to the exe so that it will launch and work in VR, but I don't know the command line since I don't play VR. Try looking up "VR game won't launch" on google, or some form of that phrase. You should be able to find the command line

Well..the original Japanese version has a mod that lets you swap models ingame,you can swap the guy for a girl while still having access to all the animations.

You can but it's not easy, Illusion makes there games in such a way that you need to alway control something which means in order for H to happen you need to make it happen. Illusion games aren't very (Auto play) friendly. Lol

A game about making really attractive/unattractive/aliens and then fuck them. Alot. Personally if you want alot of sex-related positions and acts, try Custom Maid 3D2 instead, and it's 60gb of DLC. This on the other hand has really good character maker, the females look more realistic...and hot.
What's so special about this version? I have the "Game" with the DLC and translation and what not, and it has way more to offer than this "Unlimited" version. The only good thing seems to be that no translation patch is needed.
if it's anything like the other honey games, interactions, too. if you want something better for this type of thing, try musumakeup. it lets you create a girl in two modes, one is a story mode where you raise the girl as your daughter ( visual novel ) the other stuff is purely hentai.
gave it a shot, you get a full on girl creation, and guy creation ( but you can't adjust the size of the guysdick, bit disappointed in that) but you have full customization with girls, and hen you have some half-assed story where it's just a girl teaching you how to use the game. you pick a girl, create a room, pick a guy and then you can do all sorts of naughty stuff ( for some reason, the guy stays fully clothed, and always erect, bit of an immersion breaker ) all in all i guess it'snot bad, but i still prefer musumakeup since it's a cel shaded anime style. this game you can make realistic lolis though. so that's something to chew on.

If you try to run the patch without renaming the specific file, it will tell you that it cannot find the file in the directory; simply rename that file to the name it says... pretty simple.
Once You have renamed the files, run any one of the "HoneySelect_xx_WideSliderPatch.exe" programs and the game should start, and will be using the mod. After running each of the patch files at least once, you should be able to to run the normal HoneySelect_xx.exe or VR without running the patch again. You can either keep the patch in the game folder, or you can delete them. Again, as I said above, you may only have to patch the files you'll be using, but I thought it wise to explain in detail. Personally if you want alot of sex-related positions and acts, try Custom Maid 3D2 instead, and it's 60gb of DLC.
This on the other hand has really good character maker, the females look more realistic...and hot.
I have the "Game" with the DLC and translation and what not, and it has way more to offer than this "Unlimited" version.
The only good thing seems to be that no translation patch is needed.
Me? I just go with Custom Maid 3D2.
But I don't think it would change much after having unofficial translation patches.
if you want something better for this type of thing, try musumakeup. it lets you create a girl in two modes, one is a story mode where you raise the girl as your daughter ( visual novel ) the other stuff is purely hentai.

click game genres, then adult, and boom. you'll find it.
but you have full customization with girls, and hen you have some half-assed story where it's just a girl teaching you how to use the game.
you pick a girl, create a room, pick a guy and then you can do all sorts of naughty stuff ( for some reason, the guy stays fully clothed, and always erect, bit of an immersion breaker )
all in all i guess it'snot bad, but i still prefer musumakeup since it's a cel shaded anime style.
this game you can make realistic lolis though. so that's something to chew on.
