Easy fix. Just download the file you're missing online, it's a file that a lot of the anime games tend to use. I just installed Hyperdimension Neptunia to solve my problem of it because it gave me the file I needed
Hi everyone, I hope someone reading this is actually playing or has played. I want to ask does anyone else have a sound bug on indoor floors? With update 1.0.0.3, unfortunately, all indoor floors (wood floor, rock floor, carpet floor, etc) have sound like grass, LIKE WALKING ON GRASS SURFACE. Has NOBODY noticed that??? What, do you people speed-run through the game on 720p and 9 buck desktop speakers, so you're gonna tell me:"ugh, i didn't notice anything, i didn't even know how to WALK in this game, cuz i don't care." etc. Sighhh
when im at the tutorial in the beginning of the game after I pick up the flowers the next cut scene will not start because of that it will not let me progress. Does anyone knows how to fix this??
"any button" is actually enter by default.. lmao. they really messed up before the game even started. i checked the key config exe on the game folder and pressed it 1 by 1 just to find out what is "any" button xD
I absolutely want to play this game but the pricetag killed me. I would surely have bought the game if it were less expensive, when i saw the season pass cost more than the base game, they are just kidding on the prices :(
Its your standard medium average gaming pc, above average ones arnt using a 7400 non overclockable cpu, low clocked ram and an entry level board. They just put lipstick on a pig. The only thing good about it is the 580 which is going to get bottlenecked by the cpu anyway.
Thank you for the reply. How do I adjust the fan speed of the case fans and gpu? Am I supposed to open the computer up? lol Sorry, I know nothing about this.
The fan speeds are generally adjustable on the config program for your CPU and GPU, like for instance a Gigabyte CPU comes with OC Guru, a little program that allows you to configure the fan speed relative to the degrees celsius the processors reach. But you shouldn't mess with those values unless you really know what you're doing, they're there for a reason after all. About upgrading, it's not something you need to worry about right now, as many have pointed out. Just lower some unimportant settings a bit and pretty much every game will run fine for you. Shadows, postproccessing effects like Depth of Field and Motion Blur (awful thing they started adding to make games "cinematic", really it's used on consoles to hide pop-in and serves no purpose on a PC unless you like to feel drowsy every time you turn)... all of those have minimal impact on the visual quality (to an extent, low-res shadows look bad, but medium quality ones often look more real than super sharp "ultra" ones that don't make sense) and significant impact on the performance. Also tacky things like NVidia Hairworks and excessive filtering. On the other hand, things like Ambient Occlusion are very good and you will notice a difference if you turn them off. Going back to the hardware though, if you want to upgrade, wait for new architectures to come out. When Intel brings out their new CPUs, they'll lower the price of the last-gen ones and you'll be able to snag a good eight-core at a decent price. Or perhaps wait until they release mid to high range versions in the new architecture. Same thing with GPUs, Nvidia will pop out a new gen eventually, though they tend to go at a slower pace. But right now their GTX 1000 series has some mid-range options at good prices, so by the time you need to upgrade they'll be down even further (hopefully).
What should I do if the game crashes after the intro? I copied the contents of the codex folder into the game folder and ran the .exe. I also have the Nvidia driver that came out today so I don't know why the game crashes :/
I did run it as administrator, but you still helped me with my problem. Your comment reminded to go to my Nvidia Control panel and make sure that it is using my Nvidia graphics card instead of my intel one to run the game. I started the game and it works, so thanks!
Ok guys for anyone who is having slowness of game I went to my Nividia Control Panel. Go to Manage 3D Settings. Then Program Settings. Then I add Atelier game. I turn off Shader Cache. Power management mode I pick-prefer maximum performance. Then go to Texture filtering-Quality I pick-High performance. I make sure to pick Screen Resolution in the game launcher to 1280x720. I can play it easliy with 1920x1080 if I want to. But for extra speed of the game I pick 1280x720.
I love normies thinking common sense equates to being a weeb. There's a few good dubs, some which I even prefer, like Cowboy Bebop, or Goku's VA, but complaining about japanese things in a japanese game is clinical retardation at textbook levels. I'd suggest not defaulting to "weeb" as your only counterargument when you have nothing to say; it's too common. But then again, expecting anything above average from your type is probably asking too much.
Lower your settings, you haven't got the "XTREME GAMER BEAST" that was advertised to you, just an above average gaming PC. An i5 at 3GHz is nothing to write home about, and neither is the RX 580. If it's "running loud", it simply means you're pushing that hardware to it's limits and thus the fans are on "maximum output" or whatever they call it now, which makes a hell of a lot of noise. FFXV is a demanding game, so push things like Shadow quality and View Distance down a couple of notches, and you'll see better performance and less heat (which is important to prevent damage to your system), and of course less noise too. I have a feeling your CPU is struggling and the fan is running at full, because GPU fans tend to be quieter even at max power, while CPU's aren't made with that in mind.
Thanks for the response! I'll try lowering the shadow quality and view distance. Just curious, what do I replace the RX 580 and i5 with? I'm not going to replace it now, but I mean in the future.
For a CPU, you just need an Intel CPU with the LGA1151 socket, preferably a K series, since these are for overclocking. Either an i5 or i7 would be good, but you can go overkill with an i9. As stated by Akumetsu, though, I wouldn't worry about upgrading anytime soon. If you want to upgrade the GPU in the future, though, I would go with an NVIDIA, rather than an AMD.
