Well I mean, "these" images, in which context was this said? I did the research and the prophet (pbuh) said this when they saw some paintings in an Ethiopian church (which are known to be like filled to the brim with paintings), and in Islam it is not acceptable to depict God in a drawing since his form cannot be understood less drawn by human mind, and in general it is not a good idea having pictures and statues in place of worship in fear that the future generations would be led astray and think they should be worshiped, and I'm pretty sure in Islam you shouldn't worship anyone beside god Allah, you should respect prophets as messengers of god and great people but never idolize them to the point of comparing them to god himself And it specifically speaks of hanging pictures in a mosque that was built on top of someone's grave (as a memorial) which would make sense, I don't think it is appropriate to hang some paintings in a place of worship Also, I know I am being too curious again, feel free to answer or no, may I know in which Islamic country you grew up? I know this is old but straight up hardline Muslims (not to be confused with extremists, there is a difference) go by the Quran about women being covered except her face but in some sects even this. Regardless, ANY depictions of a woman in printed form, statues etc are seen as forbidden. This is why when you go into some Muslim ran stores like here in Brooklyn, you'll see boxes of hair dye with the women on the cover blacked out with marker etc. Some orthodox Jewish sects have the same thing when it comes to women being shown in printed form. There is that famous picture when Seal Team 6 got Bid Laden and Obama was there watching it live via camera feed, some news papers that serve the Jewish Orthodox community photoshopped out Hillery Clinton and a female aid that was looking on in from an open door. There are also come Christian sects that are equally just as strict that also have an extremely funky view on females and the female body. Religion can be a tool of total suppression of ones own freedoms and there aint nothing more evil than that.
Would you mind citing your sources? Really not trying to accuse you of anything just genuinely curious (idk about the rest but in Islam sources that are accepted are The Holy Quran and hadith which is a 100% valid, basically sahih al-bukhari who studied and researched them and only noted the ones with next to no possible mistake, by doing his history stuff idk)
And can you please tell kind sir where in Islam is it said that statues, paintings or anime is banned? In Quran (the Muslims holy book) or hadith (their prophet talks)? (This is not mockery, I am actually curious)
