Those who want to change language, find the Localization.txt file and delete the language that says NoTranslate in it and write which language you want to change. Then, find and delete whatever language you made in the part after the / sign on the right and add the language of the game before the change. This is how I solved it.
Wondering where the save location is. I recently purchased the game via steam but I'm much further in play on this copy than I am in the steam copy. When I start up this copy, I have all my progress. When I start up the steam copy, it shows my character but its practically a new game, no stats, builds, tools, all back to tutorial stage. I can find the steam save location, but not this copies save location.
Most games include anti-copying code and when your illegal copy of a game attempts to connect to the (MP) server it fails some level of authentication check and is blocked from connecting there. Only offline is available.

i have been playing since 2015 and have it on steam, yes it receives updates from time to time but the overall development is negligible, but for a dirt price of $2.99 (converted from my currency) i think you can try if you want, you will be bored within a day or two though its very unpolished in terms of animations and vehicle designs, 4x4 truck will sound like toy once your past 2nd gear. what i liked is crafting system, as well as character skills but other than that there isnt anything else. i suggest try other games like days gone, Dayz,dying light, or a lesser known game called simply zombi

it's pre installed and yes you can i think there;'s also extra files that stores saves that is not on the actual game folder so if you want to completely remove it find that folder iirc it's on appdata folder

try to ping ur friends ip adress in cmd, if it says request timeout, then the problem is on ur friends side, btw u don't need to dislike every single comment saying that multiplayer works.

if you downloaded the correct file then its just a false positive from the crack, which happens with most games. This one is actually less sus than most cracks as it was only detected by 1 AV and its one iv never heard of. All files on this site are tested and scanned before upload so you don't need to worry about the legitimacy of games on this site, but as with everything if you don't trust it then don't use it.

I am not sure if you can play online with anyone, but you can surely play with a friend on LAN (hamachi can make you on LAN even if you are not together).

Hey You can use a virtual lan over internet, I'm using ZeroTier application for that! You just need to open an account, get a network id, install the app in your and your friend's computers and join the network by the id you got, and give them your ip address generated in your account. yes, if you are the creator of the server, then your friends will join to your game, so you'll play together to survive, idk if you can play PvP only without zombies, you can also move on in your game without them and they can always join you anytime, in the same place they left from.
needing 12gbs of ram i think the creators of 7 days to die screwed up the discription of the game requirements there not even the outer worlds and other open world games which are way more intense then this need that much ram
I hope you were ironic. Yes, it's not that expensive to get more ram but you shouldn't have that many, no use for them, unless you play something extremely demanding. At least for me, to be honest, I don't really like 90% of the new games, I feel like the old games in general are more interesting and far better developed when it comes to gameplay while the new games tend to focus only on better graphics which I couldn't care that much about. If a game has average graphics and excellent gameplay then you'd best bet I will play it. That being said, I got 12 ram, I can play almost whatever I want but I don't need that many ram. 7 days to die is so poorly optimized, you can't argue about that. I hate that voxel argument...that it's very demanding to have a world where everything you see can be destroyed, right... To be honest, if they would hire an expert graphic developer team to work for them it would go well, but they don't want to...which is beyond me since they got the money, but oh well, not my game so I can't take that decision for them.
RAM usage depends on running programs. Just using windows with steam, anti virus, plus monitoring software and any 1 messenger app will use 40%-50% on an 8gb system. And that is on windows 7, windows 10 uses way more. 16gb is the lowest you want now, otherwise you are limiting your cpu or graphics card because your computer is only as fast as its slowest component. SSD is a must now as well.
i olways play games as admin all i had to do was delete any data left from prev version tho right after i select start new it opend the command menu and said acces was denied
read on few forums that having game data from a prev version of the game can get you stuck on "loading game data" so i used the game launcer to delete everything exept the game itself ofc XD turns out i solved it by now it wasn't bc of old data with me for some reason if i want to play the game i need to reboot my pc or els it will olways get stuck on loading BTW for others who get access denied in console window when loading your game/map whitelist the game in yout antivirus

I've had major fps issues prior to 152 (I havent tested that one). I tested out the latest (b155) and I ran pretty smooth on ultra (moving the camera around in a city/forest) with 55-60 fps, but there were no zombies.

every game ive downloaded from this site i get past all the downloads and then i go to extract the WinRaR file and i get a message from WinRaR saying that the file is corrupt Help??
Either the downloaded zip/rar file hasn't been able to download fully or its been corrupted during the download process. I used to have that problem for files that took too long to download and in the middle of the night everyday my router had to reconnect, which made it so that the download didn't finish properly. It's not a problem with this site though.
How can i change the Language ? Under \7DaysToDie_Data\Plugins i cant see SteamConfig.ini ? Only valve.ini when i open the valve.ini and change the language from english to german it does nothing ?
Downloaded just to test this out. Opened valve.ini, changed to "Language = german". Saved the changes. And the game menu and in-game text became german.

hello , sorry for my bad english you have to rename your account (no same name in game) , and one are server , and other join the game with direct ip (192...) or hamachi ip (10....) , depends on who you have , with my frien i use other vpn. (openvpn) and its work. you have to lunch direct 7days to die , not eac. to use direct ip if your friend are not in lan or vpn (like hamachi, tuungle.) you cant if your port are not opened.
ok i think what you have to do is go to the file in the main folder called steam_appid.txt after that change one of the numbers to something random EVERYBODYS NUMBER HAVE TO BE DIFFERENT!!! after that start up your game (7daystodie and NOT 7daystodie_EAC) with the public server option in the new game and give your hamachi ipv4 to your friend your friend has to go in to soin game then connect to ip do NOT change the port (default is 26900)

You can start a open game, port forward 26900 & 26902 and then let your friends join you. It is possible for your friends to join your game using your IP but you can't join them as Steam can't validate you.
I dont think 7dtd has any steamwork fixes that allow you to use steam as a medium to connect to other people's servers. Instead you have to either forward your server's ports and direct connect (IP:port) or use a virtual lan and join on the virtual IP:Port.

Havent played in a while, so my memory is fuzzy on this topic, but you should be a able to figure this one out. Go to the players list ingame (default "i"), while both of you are online on the server. Then next to the name there should be a "add as friend" or "track". First add as friend and then will be able to tick a checkbox for tracking them (after they've accepted your friend invite)

No obvious fixes that come to mind, because there are way too many variables here. For example, your host maybe overloading (check task manager for excessive disk/cpu/gpu usage), might be a lan card issue (for example on laptops power managing is shutting lan off), router may have problems or wiring... as I've said, way too many variables that can be outside of the game that causes the disconnects. EDIT: U should check your logs to see the reason for disconnects.
I fixed it by connecting the 2 computers with a cat 5 lan cable direct to eachother no modems, no switches, no routers. No more disconnections ha ha ha

Check folder options for both the game's client and the save folder at C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Saves. They must NOT have the "read only" check box checked.

3rd point. IF you set it to manual, did you also set what ID to use? 4th. It's not that YOU ticked the checkbox, just sometimes it happens on its own. U should see that you have with those two folders. While you shouldnt change "appID" it shouldnt have any impact on the game; Playername, if id generation is set to manual, shouldnt matter too. So the biggest concern is the ID generation set to manual. For the sake of testing, you can try and set to "GenerateRandom".

While Darius is completely correct on what to do, it was a little bit different here, downloaded this yesterday and had the exact same issue as you did. I kept on trying exactly what Darius did since it usually works with steamemu on other games but you have to look in another place here. You have to go to your 7 days to die folder, that you extracted from the rar, then open 7DaysToDie_Data Then open Plugins Then edit SteamConfig.ini(preferrably with notepad++) Then edit Line 4 - change the AppID to 251572 for example If you wish, edit Line 10 Playername = "what ever name you want" I hope this helps.
This is happening BECAUSE u have the same profile, or to be more accurate, u share the same steamaccountID/PlayerID. Which is weird, if you're using the latest version, it should assign u a random generated one. But if it doesnt you COULD try (not saying this will work, cuz I'm not familiar with the knight-table version) this: -Find smartsteamemu.ini (might be several of them, so either do them one by one, or all them) -Find line with "SteamIdGeneration = GenerateRandom" if it says something else, change it to "Generate Random" and try again, if didnt help read on -Change "GenerateRandom" to "Manual" -After you that add a line with the following "ManualSteamId = YOURRANDOMNUMBERS" So you will have something along these lines AppId = 251570 Language = English SteamIdGeneration = Manual ManualSteamId = 1337 LowViolence = 0

Where did you get your client from? If from this webpage then it should be there. At least two of them :D one in the root folder, where the steam.ini is as well as 7daystodie.exe. Another one should be in the KTLauncher folder. PS: Check the game's archive you downloaded. Might have been a failure while extracting.

The version that's on this site doesnt have the "Startdedicated.bat" and "serverconfig.xml" files. They might have removed something else, I dunno. If you can find those two files somewhere online then the process is the same as with a licence version of the game, meaning youtube it. But seeing as what they've did so far I would even doubt that it'll allow u to create a server :D

Even if you THINK you forwarded the ports that might NOT be the case in reality. Also make a rule for your firewall to allow the 7dtd server port. Then the server might not be running. There are ton of things that could go wrong. U could try hamachi as well.
Simple. You create a game and your friends join your game via IP:PORT, provided you have forwarded the necessary ports in both, your firewall and router, if such is used.

Hey so what I did was extract this version to version of the game I had. Extract it to replace and update files and you should be good to go. I am now able to play. Hopefully this is a solution to everyone who had the same issue as I did

i had the same problem. I fixed it by deleting everything in the folder where i extracted the rar. Then make an exclusion in your windows defender for this folder extract the Archive into this folder and maybe start it as an Admin this worked for me. Hope it solves your problem ^^

It's not offensive, it's just displaying a fundamental misunderstanding of a few things. There are thousands of games on this site. IGG uploads dozens of new games every week. Most of those are early access or new games that have accelerated update cycles. Keeping up with all of it is a massive undertaking. This massive undertaking is accomplished by ONE MAN. IGG is the only person with write access to the site. He's the only person with upload access to his file host accounts. One person gets all of those games, tests them, splits them into file parts, uploads them, and links them to the website. "As soon as you can" is what is happening. It just so happens that it's happening on dozens of games all over the site all of the time. The reason some other sites may be a day or two faster is because they're not maintaining a library of this size with the dedication IGG puts into it. Does that make sense?
I just re-downloaded the 7dtd files and extracted it, but the launcher is not working as it loads the game contents and tells me that it could not initialize steam. Why is that?

Right, so my first half hour I believe of playing this game was interesting to say the least...The first issue I would like to address is the lag and unoptimization issue it currently has. I don't have the greatest of PCs out there, but the game shouldn't be running like I don't have a graphics card what so ever. Second issue I would like to address is I couldn't loot zombie bodies. Now, I don't know if anyone else has experience this issue, but its there and its really obnoxious. I could go on and on, but I don't wanna rate it too harshly as it is my first half hour of the game, but unfortunately its not looking too bright here. I'll give the game a benefit of the doubt and say that the graphics are really good and I can see the effort that they put into the graphics department is relatively phenomenal, but this game can do with a massive fix. To be honest with you guys, I'm a little disappointed and I feel like it should've been better for a build that they have been working on for months. I hope they fix this bumbling incompetent excuse for a game. I'll just give my half hour review of the game a 5/10 which is very very VERY light of a score to give. The reasoning to giving this score is for one reason and one reason only...Its an experimental build and experimental builds are meant to be a little buggy at the start. Here's to a better in the future. I'm signing out and seeing what more I can get myself into.

It is a full release numbnut, the same way every alpha iteration of 7dtd has always been. Do you honestly think they would release half a game? Thats like filling half a balloon with air, it's not possible.
Experimental or not, it's still a release. A release that adds TONS of stuff and optimises the engine so it works smoother. The update itself is pretty stable.

Experimental unstable build. I downloaded via beta tab in game properties. And it's a whole new game, a lot harder. Big penalties for dying and infection. 7 day hordes are a nightmare, they bust trough your base in minutes. But it's awesome.

Well that kinda sucks, but can you tell me how to do that anyway? I will prob buy the game when steam summer sale comes out so playing it with lag spikes for a month doesn't look so bad ;D If I'm not mistaken there should be way to crack a server, bcuz there are servers that we can join, just our own dedicated servers doesn't seem to work. I found a way, i just went to knights table website, got their 7dtd client, and i played on their server, which has 10-20 players online depending on day and time of day. but its 4000+ day there , so nothing much left to scavenge... and its kind of boring game once u survive horde night, all gets repeatable, so i deleted it.

Problem with multiplayer; Infinite steam verification when I try join to my friend lan server (he use this same version, cracked) When I use SmartSteamEmu, we can play together, but we have much lagspikes. Somebody have idea how to fix it?
I have not had the problem yet but after playing a few times any time my friends launch the multiplayer crack it constantly says loading on the launch screen. How do i help them fix it. I have not had the problem myself.

yes you can, but avoid dense city and stay in suburb area. i have an old pc with 6GB ddr2 ram and it can reach 60fps on average, only dropped to 25~30fps near tall building.
HI , I downloaded it a few days ago and on my brothers pc it works fine but on mine , that has 8 gigs of ram, it crashes randomly. I checked my task manager when running the game and it hogs all the ram on both our pc's but mine is the only one crashing. Any fix on this ?

Hey, so we're using hamachi and attempting to do LAN at the moment, I'll give you our steps and the problem: 1 - We're both connected on hamachi and in the same server 2 - I've copied the host hamachi IP (mine) and put it into the "Connect To Server" tab, in the IP section, and when I attempt to connect to the server, nothing happens, like the other person says, it just states "Waiting for steam verification" and does nothing else afterwards. We would highly appreciate a response, thanks for the tips on this either way :)

Click that, then click 'new' in the top left corner and it should give an option to make a folder. After making a folde r click on that 'untitled document' and it should give an option to share, then copy and paste my email into the bar it gives. Then to put the game in, just take the files and drop on to the folder screen.
doesnt work, tried exactly as u described and it doesnt load up.... i mean it trys to load up the 7daystodie.exe but crashes every time. didnt have that issue before trying ur method to attempt to get online with it. guess im stuck with single player until i buy the game off steam. i just hope all the added files in the game folder along with moved around files dont mess up the game when launched directly is all. really dont wanna try to sort out what gos where and what dont belong or redownload entirely again.

This version of crack is only for single player, dedicated server not work for non-steam users. For LAN party i recommend run dedicated server from Kortal client with disabled EAC(Easy anti cheat) in "serverconfig.xml" where you can also set another various settings. IGG Games client is used for join to non-steam dedicated servers do to correct crack. For joining you must change the "UserName=IGGGAMES" to your own nick in file CONFIG.ini, because 2 players cant have the same steam id, also nicks like IGG or IGGGAMES or 3dmgame etc. are not allowed on many non-steam servers and you will be simply kicked/baned out !!! For correcting problems during running single player or joining to non-steam servers you must the file "7DaysToDie.exe" Run as administrator!!!

If you want to play multiplayer you need to paste files from ArchSrc\x86_64 to the main game folder, then you need to download smartsteamemu and configure it. After these stepts you can host and join dedicated server to play with your friends.

I got this error too,what i did is download a 15.1 Version because 15.2 gives you that verification thingy and then i played with my friends over tunngle. It has some bugs,maybe only for me,but everytime i restart the server the days reset back to day 1 Time: 7:00.
Steam Verification means it's not interfacing with the steam client. You can try either launching as a non-steam game with appid 480 or try to find a steamworks crack.

nevermind, i copied all the files in the archsrc and it worked. IGG, you should probably make a step if you need to do something else after extracting/installing the game, i was stuck there for 10 minutes
It seems like LAN isn't working on this cracked version, or at least not yet :/ so if you have a server for yourself and some friends, I would think about staying at 15.1
Anyone else have the problem, if your friend leaves your game then rejoins later, they spawn with the same items and have your same level. They lose all of their stuff

My roommate pissed me off yesterday... LOL! I had been looking for calipers for forever, went into a tool store to specifically find them... He followed where I was on the map, going, "I'm going to help you!" He went in and started looting... found the calipers I was looking for, scooped them up... Died outside... I had no idea where... Built him a minibike so he could go quickly to grab them from his dropped inventory.... Immediately, within less than a minute, drove the minibike straight into a lake, ruining it.... Died when bringing the parts back, lost those too.... Then ran back out, got the calipers from where he had died, ran back while I was getting my base ready for the horde night, and was being "helpful" and put the calipers in the forge and turned it on.... >_< melting them down..... He's so not allowed to play anymore LOL! In a matter of a few minutes, he absolutely ruined everything I was doing for days LOL! Someone wrote. They are hard to find.
I play with my friend via Hamashi and have 2 problems: 1- When you connect to the server and appear "Starting game" the game does not come and I get TIMEOUT, Xui load 5000ms or something. 2- When my friend can connect, appears with the same items I have, as if the player is doubled. I changed my APPID and Steamuser ID, but I see nothing to change that. HELP!

I've put quite a lot of hours into this decent survival game and was expecting to make survival gears. Spears are the first tools/weapons you can think of for hunting and defense. It would arguably be on top of my survival list. And they certainly are readily available for crafting in other survival games.

i got it! go to your 3DMGAME.ini folder go down change your username and than change your steamID from 112233 to like 332211 on the bottom and save it this ID should be different for every person willing to play :D
you can play online, if you host your own server. start your dedicated server and then you and your friends can play. Only requirement is you to have real (static) ip or you can use Tunngle.

You cant play "online" since this is cracked but you can still play LAN using hamachi or tunngle Note: no offense but in case you did not know LAN means on the same internet Peace
it is not you can only play Silngleplayer with this edition unless they modified it , since A13 was singleplayer when i download it i dont know about other versions!!! but please do confirm that the multiplayer is working if you tested it and help others :)
You un-compress them at the same time, just highlight both of them, right click, select un-compress. Also it might be dif. because of what windows you have and the programs you have to do that. So what version of Windows?
When 1 of my friends join, the game is fine, but when my other friends join an error pops up which exits the person in game and rejects the one trying to join "duplicate player (bunch of numbers)" so either only one of them joins or both of tham are kicked please help
ive found the solution to the duplicate players and other things, in the 3dgame config change your username, scroll further down you should see "#SteamAccountID=2345" take out the # and change the numbers, any random 4 numbers and it should let you join a hamachi hosted server. (im trying this hard because it took me days and hours of frustration to figure this out and i want to help whoever else has this problem)
If one want to play online (Public or Hamachi) first of all, have to change the Username and the SteamAccountID (erase the #) from the 3DGAME.ini, this should solve the problem with inventory lost and Start with the same thing of the Host

Those who want to change language, find the Localization.txt file and delete the language that says NoTranslate in it and write which language you want to change. Then, find and delete whatever language you made in the part after the / sign on the right and add the language of the game before the change. This is how I solved it.

When I start up this copy, I have all my progress. When I start up the steam copy, it shows my character but its practically a new game, no stats, builds, tools, all back to tutorial stage.

In the install folder->7DaysToDie_Data->Plugins->x86_64->steam_settings
->settings is where the files are.

what i liked is crafting system, as well as character skills but other than that there isnt anything else.

You just need to open an account, get a network id, install the app in your and your friend's computers and join the network by the id you got, and give them your ip address generated in your account.
If you also want to join me on my server, just reply to me and I'll give more details about that.
At least for me, to be honest, I don't really like 90% of the new games, I feel like the old games in general are more interesting and far better developed when it comes to gameplay while the new games tend to focus only on better graphics which I couldn't care that much about.
If a game has average graphics and excellent gameplay then you'd best bet I will play it. That being said, I got 12 ram, I can play almost whatever I want but I don't need that many ram. 7 days to die is so poorly optimized, you can't argue about that. I hate that voxel argument...that it's very demanding to have a world where everything you see can be destroyed, right...
To be honest, if they would hire an expert graphic developer team to work for them it would go well, but they don't want to...which is beyond me since they got the money, but oh well, not my game so I can't take that decision for them.
BTW for others who get access denied in console window when loading your game/map whitelist the game in yout antivirus

It is possible for your friends to join your game using your IP but you can't join them as Steam can't validate you.

4th. It's not that YOU ticked the checkbox, just sometimes it happens on its own. U should see that you have with those two folders.
While you shouldnt change "appID" it shouldnt have any impact on the game; Playername, if id generation is set to manual, shouldnt matter too. So the biggest concern is the ID generation set to manual. For the sake of testing, you can try and set to "GenerateRandom".

then open 7DaysToDie_Data
Then open Plugins
Then edit SteamConfig.ini(preferrably with notepad++)
Then edit Line 4 - change the AppID to 251572 for example
If you wish, edit Line 10 Playername = "what ever name you want"

-Find smartsteamemu.ini (might be several of them, so either do them one by one, or all them)
-Find line with "SteamIdGeneration = GenerateRandom"
if it says something else, change it to "Generate Random" and try again, if didnt help read on
-Change "GenerateRandom" to "Manual"
-After you that add a line with the following "ManualSteamId = YOURRANDOMNUMBERS"
So you will have something along these lines

SteamIdGeneration = Manual

LowViolence = 0

What to do about quests, though? Can I just delete the "Localizations - Quest.txt"? Everything that appears in the journal is in Russian, but everything else is English.

There are thousands of games on this site. IGG uploads dozens of new games every week. Most of those are early access or new games that have accelerated update cycles. Keeping up with all of it is a massive undertaking.
This massive undertaking is accomplished by ONE MAN. IGG is the only person with write access to the site. He's the only person with upload access to his file host accounts. One person gets all of those games, tests them, splits them into file parts, uploads them, and links them to the website.
"As soon as you can" is what is happening. It just so happens that it's happening on dozens of games all over the site all of the time. The reason some other sites may be a day or two faster is because they're not maintaining a library of this size with the dedication IGG puts into it. Does that make sense?

u need change name and steam ID, that are located on :
H:\Games\7.Days.to.Die.Alpha.17\7DaysToDie_Data\Plugins\settings (the instalation dir and folder depending on ur pc)
change "account_name.txt" to change ur NAME
change "user_steam_id.txt" to change ur account STEAM ID, so the game not see u double login or triple etc.

The game was missing some files, so i copied steam_api.dll CSsteamworks.dll and Newtonsoft.json.dll from terraria 1.3.5.3 to 7 days to die game folder.
Host: open SSLauncher and select server then server will start in background --- open task manager and expand SSLauncher there will be the server
and also i put server manager just open it
you also can start normal game from SSLauncher and also dont forget to change your name and ID in SSLauncher :)
Me and my friend get stuck at "WAITING FOR STEAM VERIFICATION". I have tried various solutions but none seemed to work. So if anyone know any tip on how to fix it please tell me.. I've been trying to fix it for two days straight now.. :(
If I'm not mistaken there should be way to crack a server, bcuz there are servers that we can join, just our own dedicated servers doesn't seem to work. So If we manage to create cracked server and launch it on LAN it should be fine. I guess..
Lauching server on lan doesnt help with lag spikes, they are client side ;/

i am using hamachi and i cant get into a game with connect to server and putting a ip and port 26900 to it. i want to play multi but i cant. it will dont work if i start a mp server random gen and want to play with my friends ? is there any option to play . ? of course our nicknames are changed. : }
1 - We're both connected on hamachi and in the same server
2 - I've copied the host hamachi IP (mine) and put it into the "Connect To Server" tab, in the IP section, and when I attempt to connect to the server, nothing happens, like the other person says, it just states "Waiting for steam verification" and does nothing else afterwards.
We would highly appreciate a response, thanks for the tips on this either way :)

Click that, then click 'new' in the top left corner and it should give an option to make a folder. After making a folde r click on that 'untitled document' and it should give an option to share, then copy and paste my email into the bar it gives. Then to put the game in, just take the files and drop on to the folder screen.

calipers for forever, went into a tool store to specifically find
them... He followed where I was on the map, going, "I'm going to help
you!" He went in and started looting... found the calipers I was
looking for, scooped them up... Died outside... I had no idea where...
Built him a minibike so he could go quickly to grab them from his
dropped inventory.... Immediately, within less than a minute, drove the
minibike straight into a lake, ruining it.... Died when bringing the
parts back, lost those too.... Then ran back out, got the calipers from
where he had died, ran back while I was getting my base ready for the
horde night, and was being "helpful" and put the calipers in the forge
and turned it on.... >_< melting them down..... He's so not
allowed to play anymore LOL! In a matter of a few minutes, he
absolutely ruined everything I was doing for days LOL! Someone wrote.
They are hard to find.
1- When you connect to the server and appear "Starting game" the game does not come and I get TIMEOUT, Xui load 5000ms or something.
2- When my friend can connect, appears with the same items I have, as if the player is doubled.
I changed my APPID and Steamuser ID, but I see nothing to change that. HELP!
