I've recently downloaded the game from the Drive link because the others have been taken down but everytime I try to extract the parts an error diagnostic pops up saying it detects a header is corrupted, and that the Main archive header is corrupted. After the extraction is finished, 3 new errors pops up saying Checksum error in the .iso file and Packed data checksum error and that the volume is corrupt, along with another corrupt header. I have re-downloaded thrice and yet nothing appears to be fixed. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks.

Did you download an exe file? When opening the exe, did you get a rar file, or am I missing something? If the above is true, you downloaded an ad, make sure you get the correct file.

Megaup, the very first one is working fine. I just used it. When you go to megaup, it has a little 5 second countdown of it's own. After the 5 secs click download.When you do, a pop up will come up, close it, click download again, another pop up, close it. Then the 3rd time u click download, it will start downloading the file. It sometimes will do 3 pop ups. Always just close them, and click download again until it works. If something does show up on your download bar while a pop up comes up, discard it. For future reference, you have to ask at the Game request page for reuploads. They will not do it though, unless they are ALL down. Hope this helps :)

This version is a little weird. It has all the "features" of all the previous versions, but when you launch up a game, it doesn't create any AI colonies for you to trade with even though its in the feature list. If anyone knows how to fix this let me know!

I can't launch the game; whenevr I launch it, it throws me on the steam page. And the "Ged" exe file just shows a black tab and it replaces the normal mouse with the Surviving Mars mouse icon when I hover above it (tall, yellow mouse)

if you are asking how to add things you got for free from elsewhere, you can not do so with cracked games. Wait till an update is released on here with w/e is included.
If you want mods to be enabled in this game you must install the GOG version not the steam version, steam version only works with steam mods. GOG is the way to go.

ive downloaded this for the second time, trying to get the opportunity content. i run all three installers, setup 228722_hotfix_(19911), setup deluxe edition, and the stellaris dome one. seems to work, ive installed it separately to my first version, also backed up and removed my app data for the old one as well. launching my fresh install, i dont see my old save anymore, settings are reset, meaning its definitely not connected to my first install. but, no new content. i dont see the game rules that are said to be available when starting a new game. it seems to still be spirit update. can anyone help?

well i f'ed up and installed and saved the game in (D:\GAMES\SurvivingMars) , so i dont have those locations (the closest i have is "D:\GAMES\SurvivingMars\AppData\then nothing") . Welp guess no mods for me then.
Either get the installer to do it automatically, or see what files are in the codex folder & find the same ones in the game install directory & copy all files to there

most cracks are virus or trojans that make the .exe bypass the verification system and launch the game as if it was legit, the problem is that the antivirus cant say if that crack is for mess up ur computer or allow u to play the game
first the colonist arrive is a quite huge push up for the managing part, since u pass from needing energy and fuel, to food energy water, oxygen and mood, also the colonist dont know anithing about birth control soo they will keep having childrens even when dome is full, second, get a little in the game atmosphere... its the "first colony of mars" not a vacational resort, everibody needs to do its job and (good thing its not implemented) if they mess up everibody could die
But he IS right about being able to salvage cables, you just didn't put a lot of effort into finding out how. While you can't exactly select the cables to do it from there, if you go to the Infrastructure tab (the leftmost tab in the construction menu), the last option is Salvage. Works on cables and pipes.
