A solution for version above 1803 with the signed license error
Install game on any game folder.
Download a 1803 pre-activated Windows 10 iso torrent.
Install 1803 Windows to go via Rufus to an external usb 3.0 drive(Has to enable HDD detection in Rufus).
Boot 1803 Windows 10 and install graphic driver.
Find the Gears folder, run "install crack", then run the game. You must disconnect the internet. This solution consumes time(installation, booting windows is slow in external HDD), but it works fine. I just finished the campaign today :)
You can't fix it I don't think... I am going to uninstall game. I left a comment about that the other day but I think IGG deleted my comment. I wasn't trying to be rude when I said I can't believe a 3 yr old game still hasn't been cracked properly. I was just pointing it out.
The game was crashing for me a minute or so after showing the main menu but I was able to fix but changing the firewall rules for Gears of War 4 to block all incoming and outgoing as well as enable offline permissions for Microsoft store under settings.
I've already rolled back to Win 10 1803 and the game works like a charm, me too i have update more than 10 days ago but i have done a full format + clean installation
This is still v12.0.0.2 right? Just checking for future reference obv havent got online for game to work turn wifi off! Doesn't come with all maps/dlc and no Horde :./ only versus with bots

It is impossible to play. The game is stopped and closed, returning to the desktop. I have blocked the Internet connection with the Firewall but the game does not work ... Help, please. If someone can help me, I appreciate it.
Seem windows have patched it The shortcut just dissapear without warning and the game now won't luanch anymore even with reinstallation And i have no any AV, windows did it by himself
the game is still on your windows the shortcut can be found within the initial bar, just search on all aplications or on that big squares, I can't find mine by typing too , make sure you fix the game to your taskbar so you don't have to search it everytime you wanna play.
I am experiencing the same thing. After installing the game and playing for one hour, I went on a holiday and came back to find that the shortcut has disappeared and no where to be found.

Works great. Should disconnect internet before starting the game or it will crash. This should have been highlighted by the uploaded in the game description above so that people know what to do.
Does win 10 updated version rs4 or rs5 wil work ? or you need only this specifc version which you mentioned above 10 version win_10_pro_rs3_1709.16299.
The installer unpacks halfway and then claims the game has "completed installation" but it actually hasn't and the game refuses to launch. app install fails constantly, 50GB of missing files after installer is used. Can anyone help? the "contact me" button only takes me to an FAQ with no actual way to contact anyone.
same problem with mine, after halway installing, then progress suddenly finished, when I check on install directory, it is only 18 GB there, install on different drives result is just the same, I doubt the ISO is corrupted, since I aready extract rar several times, and install it again still the same, also doubt some of the rars corrupted cause when it is corrupted winrar will ussually show error notifications & definitely the ISO wont be able to mount. I use windows 10 pro version 1709 build 16299.371, disable avast, disable internet connections, running the installer as administrator & not as administrator, the result still the same, what did I miss?
I have 2TB free, space isnt my problem, the installer only installs 50GB of the 110GB of data for the game. the "app install" packages are failing to install to the windows store too and if i try to launch the game alone I get an error that says "This app can only be run from an app container" Additionaly i watched the installer place files, and when it said it was complete it deleted 8GB of data after it said it was done. it deleted the file "Bundles-UWP-30.pak" and claimed the instalation was done. there is also no "gears of war 4" shortcut in my start menu as it claims. I cant manually install it either because the image is in a *.Blob Format and I have nothing to extract .Blob Files with, does anyone know of anything to Extract Blob files?

I intalled the game. I clicked on InstallApp and it said done. When I launched the game from the start menu, a window opens with GOW4 logo and immidiatly crashes. Its like a splash crash. My internet was off when I tried to run the Game. Can anyone please help me?

Exactly I turned the Internet off or unplugged it and it worked... Usually when codex make games they make sure none can access the internet I guess they forgot to do that with this game hmmmm
I have a well built PC and it still would not work.... This is what will come up before it actually cut off same after many tries maybe I am not the only one on here with the same problem
i only looked at youtube tho. but thats enough for me. when player charging in to the hordes of enemies hides and regen. yeah its basically the same cod gameplay. id say its not worth the gameplay for hardcore gamers. only graphics looks nice and windows 10 is shit. oh i forgot. 100gb for an easy game is just plain stupid.

Well do you require internet to log in in the 1st place or can you easily create an offline account? i ask because my internet connection is often very poor haha.
Honestly, I was in the same state of mind like ya'll stubborn assholes when it came to sitting on Win7. Decided, what the fuck, I'll just go to Win10.......guess what......nothings changed.
Game is fine. For those people that couldnt open the game there is an easy fix. Go find a free game in the Microsoft Store and start downloading it. Wait a bit and then cancel the download. Then finally run Gears of War 4 and it will work.
