My PS4 controller doesn't work on this game, that's wonderful, I turn off DS4 and try it, doesn't work, I try it with DS4, doesn't work. I try it in Big Picture mode with PS4 controller configuration on, guess what? Doesn't work. Games broken. I have the full game, wasted 100 GB's of my hard drive on this.

Hi, can't launch it, in fact, I did everything possible to get it started, but everytime i launch it, i get a black screen, but nothing else, had to alt+tab and close it manually. nevermind, i found it: Fix is your GraphicsConfig.ini file. Put it under FINAL FANTASY XV folder. You can create a .txt file and rename it to GraphicsConfig.ini. I am kind of having problems with some parts, namely 4 6 7 and 9. Will not open as in they are corrupt, tried via google drive and http://megaup.net. Any one can help me out ? Maybe I am missing something. (hopefully)
Did the error say corrupt file? try deleting the old files in case you didn't the first time around. All i can think of right now is the drive they are in may have corrupted sectors where those files land once downloaded. Can you make more room on drive - defrag or check for errors and retry? Google this CrystalDiskInfo it'll tell you if your drive is about to die or has corrupted sectors.
I will try these steps, but I did not download these parts on 1 system. Part4 was downloaded by my friend, i downloaded part 6 at my home system and downloaded part 7 and 9 on my office system. (All of those mac systems, but there were other parts as well that were downloaded on these same systems).
I don't know if it matters what system they were downloaded in. In my opinion as long as all parts are in the same drive they should work. However seeing as these are pieces that link together. You may need to download them all on same system. Sorry maybe not what you want to hear, but it's the only way to make sure it works this time.

I have a problem where when I try to play the game it will freeze and will say final fantasy has stopped working and im forced to shut it down. This happens during the loading screen after the cutscene about Noctis leaving for his trip, and before the cutscene where their car breaks down and they have to push it. I seriously want to know why this is happening and if i could solve it somehow.
Here is a trick i always use. Add the game on to steam as a non steam game. Rename the shortcut (on steam) to Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition if you are concerned. Otherwise leave it as is and open the big picture mode top right corner. Go to shortcut and edit the controller, there is a profile for this game already there. If you can't find it, download the demo from steam and save that profile. In case i confused you. Step 1 add game to steam as non steam tittle. Step 2 load controller profile from within steam big picture. Then use controller to start game so you know its working.
so i was able to play the game fine before running 50 fps. had encountered an issue where when you set up camp or try to drive the regalia to the next town all u see is black. it isnt frozen because i am able to pause on and off. so i figured id reinstall it again aka unrar the whole thing again. this time everytime i try to run the game itself it crashes and program closes. i run it as admin have the latest drivers and all. any idea how to fix this? would gladly appreciate the help

Wait what? do you mean to say you run the exe from within the rar file? if so unrar the files somewhere... Don't run it from within the rar. The install happens when you unrar the files to your drive. Rightclick on part one and unzip or unrar here.
the game is awesome , I'm on chapter 6 at the moment and I didn't came across any problems at all , and yes i change the video setting a bit cause my computer is almost 2 year's old.
I have some issue in the first mission when I get back Regalia and have to drive to Galdina bay. Indeed, the car doesn't run even when accelerating with keyboard or pad keys.
That's not the problem, the moment the talking finishes and the quest starts it's lost already. I have no chance to even walk after the dialogue starts.
this game shouild be opened via ffxv_s right and not ffxv_o because on the ffxv_o i get on origin. when i launch the game it tells me it is a demo (FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION - PLAYABLE DEMO- is it a demo or is it the full game now?

My first mistake was asking and expecting a proper answered there was no need for a 100-page detailed memo as you put it, a simple “yes they all work” or would have worked perfectly fine instead of flying of the handle. Why you guys scared to Download the Torrent link of this game? I know Google is Fast but why not do the torrent that way you can get the whole game with no probs guys
The only thing I'm scared of when downloading via torrent is the scary slow speeds. However, google doesn't have this problem. So it comes down to, do I want to download the game in 3 days or 2 hours? Pretty easy choice if you ask me.

100gb is big for peoples have "limit" on their internet speed/connection.. for me is same using torrent or GD.. my speed is limit 100mb/s download+upload :(
Thats still fast 100mb to upload and download even on google and torrent even though that takes longer I remember when speeds was only 1 to 10mbps so believe me we came along ways in speeds now we should be close to 2 or 3gbps
Search in google "bypass google drive download limit" If you have an account in google drive with 100gb or more will be fine, or you can create some free accounts of 25gb.

The 16 parts is the actual game. The extra 4 is basically a high resolution texture pack. They cut out the 4k movies, because if you wanted them included in the high resolution pack, you would be downloading alot more than 4 extra files.
I'm not sure where to ask this question. But here goes. I'm using a ps3 controller with scptoolkit. when i first started playing the tutorial, it shows the generic buttons configuration in the tutorial. but when i restarted the game, it now shows xbox buttons instead. anyone can help?
Idk why you use scp or anything else for that matter, i just plugged my controller as is and used big picture. Here is a quick tip for this game. The game has its own profile, i exported it from the demo version on steam. Then imported it to my game (through big picture on steam) this way you will see PSX buttons since that's your goal.
Dude, the tutorial is scraped from the ps4 version, they did not even change the UI, so the xbox buttons you are seeing are NORMAL, this is a windows version and generally theres no natural way to use a ps4 controller on windows. you can not see ps4 buttons on pc or on this game, they are all xbox, the program you are using tricks the pc to make it think its a xbox controller. so long story short: you will always see xbox buttons
The weird thing is i can see PS buttons when i FIRST launch the game in tutorial. But after i relaunch the game for the 2nd time and onwards, it shows Xbox buttons already.... Hmmm
But when i reenter the tutorial after selecting New Game, it still shows Xbox button prompts. I only see the DS button prompts ONCE and that's the very 1st time i launch the game. Hmmm
No natural way to use a PS4 controller? Uh, bro it uses direct input. It's just that the majority of games only support xinput. Some games however do support direct input without having to use an external program.
There is if you add the game as a non steam game on Steam. Then start big picture, go to controllers settings and choose the games own profile. Or import one from the demo that's available on steam. And yes it works with PS4controller no ds4 required.
No, they were just there. The DS4 doesn't seem to work with this game, only some buttons do so that's why I used my 360 control. The ps4 button prompts remain though, not a big deal anyways for me.

I can see your problem OUCH GPU is 65+ celcius= 149 degrees not good and its at 100% ouch time for a new GPU. CPU OMG running at 98 celcius= 208 degrees thats not good at all your CPU is about to die you need Arctic silver thermo paste and a new CPU cooler/Liquid and its at 77% right now your computer is on its last life line. GPU is using 2.7GB out of 3GB alot of MEM ouch and the RAM is using over half the 16GB yup its about that time to upgrade a new rip plain and simple buddy. Sorry to say that's why you're having problems everything has to be upgraded.
Dang bro time to upgrade your rig I use to have those probs... You have my old 2600k 16GB Ram win10 but I had 1.5 HDD GTX960 4GB... The 2600k got me through alot of games that was up to date but I just built my new rig last July and I love it AMD came along ways if you thinking about trying them out

I use to love intel the same way and I still do but why not get the same performance for less my Ryzen 1800X was like $499 8core Intel was $650 and I'm not the only one alot of people that love Intel gave it a chance and love it. the hottest it got was 45 celsius but stays under 28 celsius normally. Like I said I been building computers for years and Now I see AMD is really good it's been along time for it but I am telling you that you get Intel performance for a fraction of the price I love it
he did a simple method boosting his level i consider it a cheat by abusing the alchemy system he most likely went to chapter 3 found coins did the chocobo quest ate a sandwich which gives double xp stacked his magic with xp buffs went to kill a monster most likely got 200k xp killing it went to sleep at a in which doubles the xp even more i dont see how much fun the game is if ur gonna abuse it like that you can get millions of xp doing the method above in about a hour

Any tips on how to level up fast? i was lvl 120 on ps4 so i really just wanna get back to where i was lol. My old strat was to farm adamantoise with the ring of lucii.
Word of warning to downloaders: This an out of date revision by a considerable margin(something like 3000 files are out sync) and the saves it produces will bug out(Broken Ascension menu seems the most common) in the actual full game. Meaning when a proper crack comes out you'll not only have to redownload the entire thing but restart your game.
Thing is, there's no telling when this game will be properly cracked as we're getting this download due to simple mixup. I own it on PS4 so I'll probably wait, as well, but even still. This game is playable and beatable, according to those who have finished it.
And you need ANOTHER 100 GB free for space to install it to. And if you don't put the files in the same place and "extract here" instead, ANOTHER 100 GB.
Im playing with a gtx 1080, an i7 6700k and 16 gb ram, everything maxed at 1080p (without vxao and high res pack), with a scaled resolution of 125%, but I've drops to 49fps minimum, while if I play with 100% scale it runs smoothly at 60 fps (locked, cause my monitor sucks), but the image seems a bit blurry. Anyone with a gtx 1080? What settings are u use and how many fps?
People been reporting the same issue on the demo. It's most likely something that will be patched however sadly for us pirates it might be a long wait for that. Though, I never understood why people care if their minimum is 49. Between 49 and 60 you won't actually see it.

Install the files in the _CommonRedist folder and see if that helps. Most games come with this folder because it has programs that are required for a game to run.
Install directx/vc from (__Installer) folder and then run game from (ffxv_s.exe). You dont need origin or anything else and DLC doesn't work for now. Also i have not experienced any black screens/stutters/memory leaks. Game works like it should. Thanks IGG! Specs:

guys use jdownloader 2 or internet download manager(IDM) if torrent speed is slow i down FF 15 in 2 days with IDM its fast torrent i dont use for games
Hey Guys, so extracted this from a zip file and when i start it, it just sits for AGES at loading, it progresses to about half way and then seems to hang, any ideas, i did not need to install the game

took a look for the config file and i see a couple but nothing to shift the graphics, this is hanging ( not freezing ) literally with a black screen and a loading bar with the word loading and spinning wheel in the bottom right and just doesnt want to shift

Guys, I've downloaded the FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION High Resolution Pack Without 4K Movies: (15.8GB), and extracted it. Couldn't find any exe. files. There's installer file and datas. Couldn't run anything on installer folder. Help.
This Version has a memory leak. After like 1-2hours of playing the Ram usage is almost maxed. After restart it goes back to 6-8gb usage (on high preset). Expect a day 1 patch with probably denuvo applied.
Im stuck in the first cutscene, the one in which the father of Noctis attacking some guy in a throne. According to youtube playthroughs, a flame should hit me and another cutscene should trigger when i approach, but here it doesnt happen, so im stuck there without being able to do anything. Does anyone have any idea on how to solve this problem?

Well, works really well on my PC but after a while it just crashes the entire PC and I have to reboot. Guess its cause of temperatures but no other game does the same, oh well, was fun while it lasted.
It's because of the crack. this isn't really a real crack 3DM just extracted the full game files out of the demo so crashes, performance issues, etc are expected

Initially when this game came out it was kind of boring I heard from people who had played it (and watching some videos it didn't look that exciting). I'm not really sure about the fact its all male characters because I like good rpgs focused on female chars a lot more (valkyrie profile, tales of berseria are good examples) but I really like nice graphics in games. Is there some good game play here or is it just a pretty looking game with the update in graphics and providing the other content that wasnt out initially on the consoles? I'm not a huge final fantasy fan to be honest never played through an entire one as I like the tales series more and think the final fantasy story is just pure nonsense at this point but is this game worth playing at this point with all the updates now on PC or is it sstill a kind of bummer (it didnt review super well and people agreed it wasnt the best final fantasy compared to others). First of all, don't say that the final fantasy story is pure nonsense if you have never played a final fantasy game to the end. Did you mean the story of FFXV? Second, a lot of final fantasy games have female characters as the lead (FFVI,FFX-2,FFXIII and FFXIII-2) FFX-2 has an all female party even! Third, FFXV's reviews were average to high in the beginning but with the release of updates and DLC,that have improved and optimized the game greatly, the game is kind of awesome actually. The PC version of FFXV has cool new features such as 30,60 and 120fps caps, 4k, first person mode(never before seen in any final fantasy game but kind of gimmicky imo) all updates and DLC included and probably much more i wouldn't know as i'm on chapter 5 of the PC version and so far i'm liking it. It's optimized beautifully for the PC. I have played the whole game + DLC on PS4 and all i could say about the story is that it is interesting, exciting and gorgeously represented seeing as FFXV's battle system is new and never before seen in a final fantasy game, but there is also a Wait battle system which can be turned on or off. I didn't really get into the wait system cause it kinda looked odd to me. The music is great! Yoko Shimomura did an amazing job (yet again). Yoko also composed for the Kingdom Hearts series (I really think you should get into Kingdom Hearts). I got Kingdom Hearts for PS2 from my dad when i was a kid in 2002 when it was released and it was actually that game that got me hooked on Final Fantasy as well as other spin-offs. What i think you should do to be able to appreciate the FF series is to play the best of the best which is FFVII. Play through the whole game and see if you like it. From there on just continue with other titles and include Kingdom Hearts in your playthrough and you're all set for appreciating the series in all it's glory. Oh yeah, don't expect a FINAL Final Fantasy cause that's probably never gonna happen. :D

No dlc at all- no pre order stuff and no episode promptis, ignis and gladio High resolution pack is for people who play in 4k and want the textures to look good as well, if you play in 1080p you dont need it.

Are you using an external sound card? (do you use another one, other then the motherboard sound card?) if so try plugging your headphones in and see if that helps, also try changing the sound format via "Sound"->Select your "Default" device->"Advanced"->change format, switch between them and check if any one of them is working. I Found that my game is only able to run on 2.1 speaks mode or on headphones mode with Dolby Atmos turned on... I am using an external sound card - Sound Blaster SBX Pro Studio 5.1
Origin's pre-release was unencrypted and the demo's exe worked with the main game so they didn't even need to crack denuvo. Square basically gave the game away to pirates.

It's 100% the Origin thing, they people that did this said that...don't make up fake arguments. They used the demo files and the Origin pre-load and got it cracked that way.
google docs links are down and they give me a 10MB/s dl speed on average. Other links give 20KB/s-200KB/s. On a game this large it's kinda redundant having the other links, you should have just made 5 google docs mirros
You can get around the "overused" on google by changing "uc" to "open" in the URL and simply saving the file to your google drive, making a copy of it and then downloading the copy you made without issues or restrictions. Just make sure to remove the saved and copied file after and clear out your google drive trash to clear up space. Though, it may not work entirely because google may have a limit of how much data you can copy within 24 hours or something. If you start getting an error message, just use another google account and it'll work again. =)
It's not down, it's just overused. You can either wait for it to become available again, use one of the other links, or torrent it. There's no other alternatives to those three options, other than using a different site
FF12 combat annoys me, but it's a personal thing. I can understand why people like it. But for me, I like to set everyone on attack nearest target and mindlessly run around at 2x or 4x speed killing everything, and then switch to a more intelligent gambit setup for boss fights. Since you can't set up presets, this got tedious fast having to switch all my character's gambits repeatedly.
if your game doesn't pass the Square Enix logo, you must delete your FFXV Demo folder from Documents/My Games folder. And open the game using ffxv_s.exe
If the workaround isn't working, then nothing can be done past waiting for the file to be available again, or using a different set of links, or just torrenting it. I prefer torrenting to all this parts crap, there's too many problems with downloading the separate parts, whereas the torrent never goes down due to overuse and is always fast

Yup, if you dont know what your doing in FF8, Then your in for 'IT' haha. a begineer as i was, the first run, i got tiered on my 30th try killing the last boss. I did the 'open the Lid' and ended up with having to fire away 27+ The Ends ~ 1 the end = 999,999 damage i belive as it was the games strongest skill, meant to kill Any/everything My characters at the time was, all Lv.99 only one 98. After that i said, enough of that, never got back to it. I loved the FF8s story make up, very fragmented, But of course ones you had all the peices Everything made sense. even the INTRO is Story bound and explains A LOT Its to date, the most logical and best built story game, in my opinion, in the history of FF FF 7, 9, 13, were also good but the only contender to 8 when it comes to build up, is without doubt FF9 and/or 7

yes it is steam added it to the steam page yesterday out of nowhere. this is what is happening to a lot of games like final fantasy. the game companies hope people preorder the game with no mention of denuvo being any where on the steam page. and than out of nowhere where in a lot of cases where people can't refund the game post that the game has denuvo in it.

Except they haven't been CRACKED. CPY doesn't crack them, he bypasses the Denuvo check. Meaning that the Denuvo code is still in the game, it's just not doing it's normal check

Almost 72 hours for doing everything you said, is a Really crappy time stamp for any FF game. even FF10 which was the fastest in history of FF to comlete, the first run was around 60 hours. (Empthysis on FIRST) that was when we, as players didnt know all the secrets to be unlocked/Collected ( Today its one of the top 3 longest FF games ) Either way Mate, Grats on the good time! I just hope this is the same as in FF10s case Casually playing 72 hours, with todays standards is good. if this is a legit run tho, for FF veterans, Not so much. .... 'Flame' to be expected

i honestly dont think persona games can count if you wanna compare these games time wise persona games are locked time wise which makes u spend time doing things on the side my first run took me about for persona 5 about 60-70 hours thats maxing my stats and confidants except one sun now imagine if i spent my time being a dick and not leveling my confidants and just going to sleep and going to mementos to level up that would cut down the time by alot
The game is locked time wise but nothing stop you from skipping confidents, stats or side quests. I maxed everything I needed because thats what I do in RPGs(and there's a lot of advantages by doing that in P5), and FF XV will be no exception if I can max something that will be usefull to me in the game I'll do it

I haven't heard good things about the DLC, especially the extra episodes. There's one DLC that is multiplayer or online or whatever so that one's a no go. And most of it is just items

steam allows you to have preloaded files and then the cracker did some magic with the demo that was released. Something similar was done with doom demo as well. I like that its free but now I feel like PC wont receive demos anymore

So after read your comment I decided to look at some news, what I got is that it is Origin (ubisoft) that store the pre-loaded game archive without even encrypt it, and that's why 3DM could manage to obtain all the game files! So I think SE, Denuvo, and steam did nothing wrong. It was just Origin's fault XD I think this is a huge thing and I am sure this will impact Origin's reputation XD

Yeah it's pretty bad. I was able to get as high as 2.5-3.0 mb with 200 connections per torrent. Thankfully i have a 150meg download so with any luck 8-10 hours.

But for this reason very few companies do not take the chance and release a demo at all...even if you pre order you cannot play the game until release day...it just gives the purchaser and option to download the very large game from steam...especially if you have slow speeds...depending on ISP..

The reason it is the whole game...the demo was 20gb so it was not the full game...steam has an encrypted pre release...so they took the .exe from the demo uncrypted the pre release and ta da so far chapter 9....but no one has surpassed this to test it...it is a long grueling game...but likely today or tomorrow we will know if they can go past that...keep in mind they plan on having it moddable so in three months they likely will take away the big D from the .exe and then you can mod...right now they are trying to hit 2 million in sales..in this case they did not limit the .exe...they just did not give much of the game to test...so that is why this is possible...if they denuvo'd the .exe waiting would have been a thing in this case...
So the note about playing up to chapter 9 is that because that's the furthest people with this "crack" have gotten or is it because the game just stops working after chapter 9?
As the others have said that's as far as anyone has made it yet, the game is actually short in terms of main campaign so its possible through cheat engine to just make yourself a higher level to breeze through the missions in order to see if this crack allows completion. Regardless the full release will be out in a week so it's hardly the end of the world if not.
i said MOST * and I play a ton of early access games that aren't even on steam - I have gotten several demos for games that contain ALL the game's files - i rip files from nearly every game , I know when a game demo is more than " just a demo " you don't seem to understand the concept behind a company not wanting to release a " demo" game, and then also make a " full" game - it's much easier to pack it all into a "DEMO" and lock progression past a certain point. I can name at least 6 games that worked this way. Crossing Souls is one that comes to mind as of recently released games.
it's easy - most demos contain ALL the game's files, usually with some sort of progression halting trigger that prevents you from getting past the demo portion. if you find out what's blocking it - you can access the full game's files.
It's because sometimes Demos are completely different version of the game than the main game. But FFXV Demo was clearly cut directly from the main game, so exe works with it. But I might be completely wrong and it doesn't work that way.
To my understanding 3DM cracked demo version and put those files into the preloaded files of the main game, making it playable. I don't know if it is true, but it seems plausible.
the fact that someone passed chapter 1 ( which is the limitation we have in demo, correct) ? and manage to get so far (chapter 9-10) means it "might" be a full game, and yeah it's not 100% confirmed, that's why someone is rushing it

If it's a bandwidth issue, wait for repack. If it's a disk space issue, wait for repack and hope they were able to strip a good amount of unnecessary quality/content.
well 100 gb it is nothing . Final Fantasy XIII was already 67 gb and various game like flight sim , the last lord of the ring , full version of call of duty black ops 3 zombie , fall out 4 hd were already 100 gb and over . I was sure this one would be around that .
this version from 3dm is not denuvo protected . It is the preload version from origins ( no encrypted with denuvo like the steam version ) . That is why using the unprotected demo exe make it works since the demo exe did contain the infos for the full game . So i am sure the game will be playable to the end .
A little warning to anyone downloading this: Due to the unorthodox way this game was cracked there is no guarantee that the full game is playable, apparently it's only been tested up to chapter 9 so give it a few days for a full test
yesterday when the game was released by 3dm the game was tested up to chapter 3 . If they already reach chapter 9 today seems things going well to see the game playable up to the end .
I just find it REALLY weird that they released the crack without proper testing. Then again the method of cracking was super unorthodox too. Also the DLC is still not usable
No one knows. See here's the thing, this game uses the demo's crack to make the full game playable so there's no way to know how much of the full game is playable until someone tests it. We know that all the DLC is not usable with this crack and so far it's playable till chapter 9

I don't care about how long would it take to install a Repack. My internet connection is soo spotty that it would take me a week to download it. That's because my router just sucks soo much. It just breaks connection during downloads, and there's nothing I can do about that, except for changing said router and I don't have cash for that. So, because of that, Repacks are way better for me.
3DM actually 'cracked' the FFXV's demo and put into the Origin's preload file (that wasn't encrypted until yesterday). So they just opened the game with the demo ".exe" and it was working.

Could you point out some of these games where all of a games chapters were playable in a cracked game versus a non cracked game? In my many Terabytes of data i have never found one. GPU is 65+ celcius= 149 degrees not good and its at 100% ouch time for a new GPU.
CPU OMG running at 98 celcius= 208 degrees thats not good at all your CPU is about to die you need Arctic silver thermo paste and a new CPU cooler/Liquid and its at 77% right now your computer is on its last life line. GPU is using 2.7GB out of 3GB alot of MEM ouch and the RAM is using over half the 16GB yup its about that time to upgrade a new rip plain and simple buddy. Sorry to say that's why you're having problems everything has to be upgraded.

This an out of date revision by a considerable margin(something like 3000 files are out sync) and the saves it produces will bug out(Broken Ascension menu seems the most common) in the actual full game.
Meaning when a proper crack comes out you'll not only have to redownload the entire thing but restart your game.

if so try plugging your headphones in and see if that helps, also try changing the sound format via "Sound"->Select your "Default" device->"Advanced"->change format, switch between them and check if any one of them is working.

But for me, I like to set everyone on attack nearest target and mindlessly run around at 2x or 4x speed killing everything, and then switch to a more intelligent gambit setup for boss fights. Since you can't set up presets, this got tedious fast having to switch all my character's gambits repeatedly.

So after read your comment I decided to look at some news, what I got is that it is Origin (ubisoft) that store the pre-loaded game archive without even encrypt it, and that's why 3DM could manage to obtain all the game files!
So I think SE, Denuvo, and steam did nothing wrong. It was just Origin's fault XD
I think this is a huge thing and I am sure this will impact Origin's reputation XD

back in the day, demos also had some shipped on discs as the full game, liek Keio flying squadron. That "demo" had all the game's files , and if you used the level select code; you had access to the full game.

Almost no game demos are released as a different game executable and files anymore. It's cheaper to just block progress in a full - file game and : make : it a demo.
