how have the 0xc000007 error, i found a solution: well i ended up trying EVERYTHING then only 1 thing worked if you go too uninstall a program youll find microsoft visual c++ 2017 uninstall that and download the 2015 one and it should run. P.s this worked to me

But in the end, we simply don't progress fast enough, and it gets redundant pretty fast.😔 The best thing is the different characters who all have a unique gameplay style, I think. Oh, do you have a controller plugged? I think that happened to me, and it was because my controller was overriding my mouse, so I couldn't use it. It absolutely is a normal twin-stick shooter, I can't imagine how you managed to play it without aiming hahaha

It's a lot less interesting, the weapons all feel and act too similarly (they look flashy but they don't really matter much, most of the time they're all the same), the game is less well designed and it relies on you exploiting the invincibility of the dodgeroll, and I finished the game easily once I got used to doing that. It's a pity because I loved the art and the music, but the game just wasn't good enough. I hope they do a sequel and make it better though. I also recently played Helmut - Badass from Hell, which has a similar vibe. It's probably even harder though hahaha I haven't gotten super far in it. You can also play it at a slower pace, or just go crazy and run around dodging everything. The characters are also very distinct and great for different playstiles. I love using the robot, because I can heal and get ammo by eating guns, and it stacks with the perks that increase healing. The runs are short but very intense and full of possibilities. You may think you're done for at the end of one stage, then the next one you get lucky and get some health back. Then when you're feeling confident the game crushes you >:) hahaha

Did you restart your computer? No, it's not a joke, you may need to restart it after installing the VC package. Also, delete the .dll's you downloaded, now you have the actual things installed and not those placeholder archives.

Yes,that's my main problem.I don't even have openGL 2.0 Or even shadermodel 2.0 alot of games use them for some reason. I tried two games,and guess what? I couldn't read anything because the f*cking text FONTS required openGL! I could basicly play those two games without a problem,except reading the text.I guess the text is so advanced it requires a greater graphics card -_-
you can work around this, there is ways to do that.. i did with some games but normally the game has the directx option, heroes of hammerwatch has directx option i know that because i saw the developer saying, but i dont know how to open the directx mode

I do have a laptop that has directx 11 and openGL 3.0 But long story short i can only use the laptop on the weekend :|

32-bits launcher doesnt work for me it just stays the same and it seems like something is loading but nothing happens and the HWR.exe just crashes, any help?
This game is alright. It's better than the original Hammerwatch, and it adds a lot of interesting features, but the game drags on a lot. It's also quite hard and unbalanced, the first boss is almost impossible for a melee character but much more manageable if you're ranged. The "skill tree" is a joke, you just upgrade your skills by adding more numbers like "more damage" or "bigger AoE" etc. Starting without most of your skills and having to level up both the character and the guild trainer is also a pain, and translates into a ton of grinding. The gameplay itself is pretty alright, but there's some enemies that are too hard to deal with if you're a certain character, and the game gets pretty repetitive after a short while. If you like the core of it, you might keep playing, but chances are you'll get bored rather soon.
is this the sequel of Hammerwatch? it was a great coop game, which I enjoyed very much. (and you could play the pirated version online with the rest of the steam gamers)
Its from the same team its not technically a sequel more like a diablo style spin off. Try it but its full of bugs atm and if this isnt the 2nd updated version then controllers wont work. (Controller update is included)
They have a steam emu in the folder configured so it should but when I try the option for lobby is greyed out so I guess it isnt working. Dont know if anyone else can test?

Have you checked what version of openGL your laptop supports?
