-Despite having an ally It didn't got hard
-Dude suggests we sleep on the roadside. No choice but to fucking accept
-Wake up with all my stuff and the dude gone.

He certainly played through the story. Most RPG's are hundreds of hours long, but the story is often just about a dozen or so hours. If you start grinding, doing endless dungeons and all that jazz, then you can solve as many hundreds of hours as you want, really.

Well, I did finished the game till the point where you won't be able to progress because the main story is incomplete, plus like what I said, I killed a BANDIT because of an accident, then few minutes of wandering around the town I got a quest to kill that person wHICH I ALREADY KILLED means, That bug made me quit, I mean thats literally the last quest I have (I completed everything but that), but since someone said they completed it already, that means They updated it, I'll go back playing it again then!

My experience with this game:
-Start the game up.
-Think "It looks really bad, but I knew that from the screenshots."
-Struggle to get decent controller set up in options menu.
-Create a mage because I like mages.
-Start playing. Controller was a horrible idea.
-Use KB & mouse, it's a little better but still annoying as hell.
-Click on enemy to attack. My character doesn't auto-walk close enough for the attacks to land.
-Notice how awful all spell animations look.
-Find random dude who joins my party.
-Despite having an ally, I still get swarmed by goblins.
-Dude suggests we sleep on the roadside. I accept.
-Wake up with all my stuff and the dude gone.
-There was a town just BARELY off screen from where we slept meaning I got robbed for no reason.
-Alt+F4

Any tips? lol
I kept playing a bit today but I'm afraid I'm gonna have to give up.
I'm now level 4 and even tiny goblins still destroy me in a few hits.
This is horribly frustrating, and really one of the most difficult games I've ever played in my life.
I'm in "Gorx Lair", but I can't even complete it, I'll have to find another area with weaker enemies.
I read something interesting on the Steam forums.
The developer said this:
"Overall I wouldn't advise to stay in one area until fully cleared, as
there's content for different levels mixed in and it might make the game
very grindy for you."
Maybe that's the mistake I did...
So I should explore and find weaker enemies with easier quests?
I already explored a lot though...
Avatar

IT'S TOO DAMN DIFFICULT!!! DON'T "GIT GOOD" ME!!! lol
This game DESTROYS me. lol
Thanks god I didn't pick the harder difficulty level...😳
I even have difficulties completing the most basic quests early in game...
I already failed at escorting a guy to another town cos he was brutally murdered in just two hits by some tiny vicious goblins. lol
Also, I have only four days to kill a goblin "sergeant"... But four days aren't enough for me to level up to a sufficient level to kill him.
I really try hard though, but the grinding is so slow!
So I guess I'll fail at this quest as well...🙄
Sheesh... This game sure has been balanced "perfectly"so that the difficulty would be HARDCORE no matter what.
I don't know...
Don't you guys think it's just TOO difficult?
The fact that you can't restore your skills while you're away from town makes the whole experience even more frustrating.
I chose a rogue(as usual 😁) and I have a healing skill, which I can "recharge" only when I sleep in an inn.
And then, in a dungeon, I can use it only two times.
I tried to buy a few potions, but they're quite expensive...(100 gold)
Since your healing possibilities are quite limited, as soon as you don't have enough energy anymore, you just have to go back to town...
Yeah I know it's like this in many similar games... BUT NOT THAT FAST.
The time needed to - go to dungeon - get my ass kicked - and go back to town - might take no more than 5 minutes. Rinse and repeat. Countless times.
SIMPLE AND ADDICTIVE GAMEPLAY
This game features real-time combat and some simple quests to accomplish.
Go fetch this, pick up that object, kill that specific enemy, etc.
It feels like an amateur Diablo game but I'm not saying this as a bad thing at all.
Despite the insane difficulty level, I still find it kinda relaxing, thanks to the very simple and somewhat repetitive gameplay.
And I say repetitive especially because of the necessary grinding, which is "helped" by the CONSTANTLY respawning enemies.😡
TIP! Don't forget that you can keep left-click pressed to continue attacking!
Preserve your mouse! lol
The story, although nothing revolutionary, is well written to me, and so far I liked the dialogues which seemed realistic to me.
I totally yawned at the introduction though.
And starting as a character who just got robbed everything isn't particularly original, but it still works as a good motivation to unveil the story.
I won't say more... he he
Inventory and character screens are great, I think.
Very simply, intuitive, you know exactly what to do without having to read a manual about it. lol
It contributes to make the whole game even more addictive, looting as much as you can and selling everything in town in order to get better equipment.
You know the drill.😁
VERY AMATEURISH PRODUCTION
Graphics are quite atrocious to me.
It always looks like I took off my glasses, cos everything seems so blurry.
It also makes me think of the weird bilinear filter thing which was in the Final Fantasy VI port on PC... It just looks so bad.
On the other hand, I appreciate the cycle day/night.
Forget about any realistic lighting though.
And the music makes me feel like putting my head in a noose...
Who made that? lol
I turned it off and played Ultima IX music instead.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifPrCVUi7lw&index=9&list=PL9257A34DAC0ECAE8
Nice dungeon music, eh?😋
Wait until you hear these stupid goblin voices though... Ugh.
They sound like somebody just stepped on a duck.🤣
Some other monsters don't even make any sound.😦
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqZboxi7v-o
BUMP! BUMP! OUCHY!! BUMP!
Controls are, in my opinion, VERY annoying.
You'll be ok in town, but you'll notice how bad it is when you reach the first dungeon.
You just feel like you're stuck on every wall corner, rock, barrel, whatever.
It's so difficult to move around, you just bump into everything!
I play with a keyboard and mouse... I tried with a gamepad and it was even worse.
SOME MINOR ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS
I regret the fact that we don't see the minimap constantly on the screen.
You have to click once on the lower left icon to see the minimap, then once more to see the world map.
It annoys me to have to make a pause every time I want to make sure I know where I'm going.
There's a Quicksave, but no Quickload...? I don't get it.
When you die, you go back to the menu screen, and can reload where you quicksaved, wherever that was. (at least you don't have to go back to a town, you just go back to wherever you died.)
Well, I realize that MANY developers choose to make their games' saving systems like this though...
It's just that I never understood in what way it makes the gameplay better/more interesting. lol
I found out something else, and it's not exactly a detail, since it can totally screw your save...
For some reason, when I loaded a game just after I died, sometimes my character attacked an enemy right away, or he/she walked into an area filled with enemies, even if I didn't click on anything.
Many times, I had to run away because of this.
VERDICT
Can't say. lol
I have to play longer.
This is exactly the kind of game which is annoying to evaluate, cos it has some terrible problems, and yet some very nice qualities as well.
Anyway, I'll keep playing a bit more and edit my review accordingly.
Some people say that the game is brutally hard at first but becomes easier later...
We'll see...
But like I say in the next paragraph, definitely, this game doesn't compare to the better ARPGs out there.
EDIT: After playing a few more hours...
I can say THIS IS THE MOST HARDCORE ARPG I'VE EVER PLAYED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.
Divine Divinity is a breeze compared to this.(and no, I'm not kidding)
Oh yeah, it's not an ARPG, but even Wizardry VIII wasn't as hard.
http://igg-games.com/wizardry-8-free-download.html
(until Exiled Kingdoms, I considered it the most difficult game ever. So that gives you an idea...)
This is utterly ridiculous, I can't do anything.
I've been trying all kind of quests and failed almost ALL of them.
Do we have to kill goblins for weeks? Cos that's the only monster I can kill.
And I keep leveling up(EXTREMELY slowly), and getting better gear... And yet Lv.1 goblins still murder me.
Is the game bugged or something?
I guess I did something VERY wrong about my skills...
PLEASE HELP.
This is not fun anymore and I think I'll just give up on this game.
I'm now extremely pissed off at it.
This is me after playing this game for 4 hours =>
http://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/001/231/756/2cb.gif
FINAL EDIT: I'm done with this game.
Why? Cos I failed one more quest, and this time cos I didn't go back to town in time.
See, I finally managed to get strong enough to kill an important enemy...
I even got the message about the quest success and all...
I thought "FINALLY!!"...
But I failed to go back to town in time to get my reward...
So, failed quest.
IF ONLY THERE WAS A FAST TRAVEL SYSTEM.
(you can use portals, but this is not good enough... You still have to waste an insane amount of time traveling on foot...)
But noooooooo it's so much fun to have to walk through huge areas filled to the brim with CONSTANTLY re-spawning enemies, which make you waste SO much time, that anyway, you CAN'T SUCCEED THE QUEST.
And yes, you do have to fight, cos there are SO many monsters anyway, you can't even run away from them.
This game is a failure on every level possible.
Can't believe why it gets so much love.
I guess these people have never tried other ARPGs before.
These days, I'm playing Secret of Mana(Super Famicom version). It's not even nearly as deep, but at least everything is coherent.
SIMILAR (and better) GAMES
This game is going to suffer from the competition a lot.
Especially if compared to the big names out there like the first Sacred of Kult:Heretic Kingdoms.
Sacred Gold: http://igg-games.com/sacred-gold-free-download.html
Kult:Heretic Kingdoms: http://igg-games.com/kult-heretic-kingdoms-free-download.html
Why have these games been forgotten is beyond me, they're among the best in this genre.😢
Even some little indie games like 9th Dawn II feel better =>

Oops, I think I forgot the best of all, I'm stupid.

Love the style of this game.😍
ADDENDUM
I just read a very interesting remark on Steam about how this game kinda looks like Flare, an open-source ARPG.
https://steamcommunity.com/app/788270/discussions/0/1693788202021856483/
The developer says it's not the same engine though, but uses some common assets.
Link to Flare => http://flarerpg.org/
Back when I played it, yeaaaars ago, it was quite boring and lacked some character, like this game.
I might try it again though, now that it almost reached v1.0.

I´m playing the game in Hard and it´s not that difficult, just be sure to always have a hired companion and when available a "normal" companion too, yes, you can have both at once.
After that in the begging of the game, talk to the guard and do his first
2 missions, do the first from the potions old man too while you´re at it, after that do the one mission from the priest, if you are still to weak for that one do the one in which you need to escort a guy from Lannegar to a city to the west, is just one block distance in the map.
Basically, always be with atleast one companion, get some equipment and do missions either from the NPCs or the cities(It helps a lot with money and exp, the quest from the cities be sure to notice if they are near you from the zone).
PS: The enemies respawn for each 12 in-game hours, and you can fast travel between cities by paying guys with boats(if you go to the wiki you can see the whole fast travel map - http://www.exiledkingdoms.com/wiki/index.php?title=Fast_Travel).

Thanks for the help.
Actually, despite all of my critics, I STILL haven't deleted the game from my drive...lol
Behind all of its flaws, I can see clearly a deep RPG with great gameplay time.
But it's so annoyingly difficult.
Yeah I found a very big city with some boats which offered me to travel, but the fee was quite expensive though.
Everything seems very expensive in this game.
And I'm so incredibly stupid, I bought a very expensive piece of armor, then I realized it wasn't compatible for rogues... Sigh... And since you sell it for only 1/4 of the price, I almost lost all of my money and couldn't buy anything. lol
This game sure doesn't take the player by hand.
Well, I guess I was angry so I clicked without looking. lol
I'm afraid you're right about companions.
I tried to kill some bandits alone but it was impossible.
With a companion, I managed to do it.
But I really hope that companions respawn too, in cities...
Cos so far, ALL of them eventually got killed. lol
And it's weird... Apparently, if you push "N", it opens the companion screen, but it's not working on my side.
I wish I could heal them or give them better equipment.

Have you ever played Fallout 1?
I really loved the fast-travel system in it.
It didn't make things that easy cos you could get random encounters while fast traveling to another zone.
Some of them were hard fights, others were very nice secrets.
I wish this game had this, cos it makes things very long and tedious, when you have to go back one more time to town, for example.
This is one of the reasons it makes the gameplay time so long.
But yeah, I figured out that some quests WILL be failed no matter what.
Like that one time a group of villagers asked me to reason with some bandits and avoid violence, but I still killed the bandits. lol

Well, I wouldn't call it "fast travel". It was the only travel you had in Fallout 1 hahaha
Random encounters were annoying though, like Final Fantasy or Pokemon: you mostly found shit enemies that were just a waste of time. Only when you went to dangerous zones like the base up north-west or the church, where supermuties and things like that started appearing, did things get interesting.
But overall, Fallout 1 was pretty easy. Which is kinda good, because you got to enjoy the characters, world, story, etc.

I didn't "grow up" with these retro, isometric RPG's, and yet these are my favourite games.

The game is originally made to be played on mobile devices. You just can't expect much from a mobile game, they are all either microtransaction and ads fes or really poorly made games whose content is mostly taken from open sources. I've been playing this game for over 70 hours and i think it's one of, if not the best mobile RPGs you can find on google store. On PC though, it can hardly be compared to any relevant RPGs, they're just superior in graphics, gameplay, sound and story. The developer did a great job making this game on his own, i'll give him that.
