Can someone please explain how to get this thing to run. Whenever I start up the application it shows the first 2 logos, goes completely white, then it closes. I've seen people talking about using the crack in the codex folder but I don't have a clue as to what to do with that folder's contents nor are any instructions on it provided as far as I'm aware.
hey, at school, once triangle is obtained, trying to give it to the ghost at the 2nd floor will make the game to freeze, you cant use effects or cncel, yet you can pause the game so you can exit, check options, etc. i tried stabbing the ghost, using the umbrella, taking out the flute, yet nothing happens, does anyone knows how to bypass this? EDIT: this was a bug that was already solved for 2.0.1, so i think we will have to wait till then EDIT2: this bug was based on a weird rng thingy, so if you are lucky this wont happen to you
PS: if anyone knows how to bypass it, and is stuck at KyuuKyuu, pull out the umbrella until event is activated, that worked until 1.05, so im guessing it will work in this one as well
I have never played the original Yume Nikki, but always wanted to. Maybe a 3D version is my opportunity to do it. I am going to wait until some bugs (That are mentioned below) are fixed.
Couldnt progress on kyuukyuu kun, that rubbing maniac asshole. Literally havent felt so bamboozled and frustrated in my life. Hopefully theres gonna be updates for this, im so close to the ending and what happened earlier was such a turn off. ;c
Well, I checked it and I only found two empty folders and two .ini files. I also checked other two games that I downloaded here and there's a third .ini file, called stats, that tells some things I got on that games, but just that. Anyways, I finished the game without getting stuck in any bug, lucky XD.
Yes it is. Of course it's only going to be there once you actually SAVE the game at least once but it's there. I just checked and double checked, it's there

The original game is free on Steam but this actually looks pretty nice. It's been years since i last played Yume Nikki but i'm definitely giving this version a try
i downloaded this, and it when i opened it... it showed the intro (showing production names) then it just suddenly closes itself and opens the yume nikki steam page... help?

Always check the .ini files, it tells you the location
