Okay you can use your CS 1 clear data to CS 2. So don't worry about that. The DLCs not complete. No casuals costumes or assesories. Most costume on Rean And Alisa. Basically couple costume. Only one swimming costume, but it is covered version basically you can't see the heavenly mountains of EMMA. Basically no Bikini. If you haven't play CS 1. I recommend you to go back and play CS1. As for controller, tried many emulators didn't worked. IDK but looks like I have to play with mouse and keyboard.
Graphic is still same with CS1, don't expect the improvement. BUT they manage add more stuff to make lively and kind a alive? I guess. Same mute Rean in some part for JP voice. But more compare CS1. Highly recommend to play NIGHTMARE mode if you played CS1. I mean even though it is highest difficulty it is easy compare to many games.

Ok, so, for a while, I have been having this really bad problem with loading times. Going from house to house is fine, takes about 5 sec, but area to area can take up to a minute. Thought it was maybe because of the settings, so I lowered them. Still nothing . Even with 1.2 patch , the problem only gets fixed after I enter a new area once and then re enter straight after. At this point, I don’t even think it is my pc, since everything else is running in 30FPS with no problems .
I did update them all to latest. Problem seems to occur during the following : First battle after launching the game , or entering new major area Calling the Couragous and leaving it. Cutscenes when I change locations Entering new areas It takes up to a minute to load, and sometimes , it seems like my computer freezes midway while loading. I mean, I don’t get it , I had no problem when playing the first game and I am playing with same graphic settings. Heck, this game runs like much better then the first one FPS wise as well for me.
Kinda been enduring it for 60 hours by now. You can see all the crap that happens to me in the message I sent to the guy above. Would love some input if you were able to lower some of these problems

Actually, i put it back then in the Win 32 folder as well (take a look at the attached picture, it's in the bin folder) and i think that's what made the dlc work! You should try it out and see.
Anyone tried to enter the Phoenix Wings' hot spring with your teammates? The room on your right as soon as you enter Phoenix Wings. It crashes on mine. guys i got half good news i got update 1.2 from another website the load times have been reduced to about 1 and a half minutes but once you enter the new load screen next time you go iit loads normal example say you enter a shop it takes a minute to load you leave it takes another minute but if you try to enter the shop again it loads instantly
that's weird. I haven't download the 1.2 version yet in this game. Still playing this in 1.0 and so far so good the loading time for me takes 5 seconds only everytime I enter the shop or after battles.
Friendly tips: If your game is crashing during some events or fights, try to remove your DLC costume or make it default one (also accessories) for the meantime. It perfectly works on me. I already finished the game yesterday thanks to this, save my butt not getting game crash all the time.
the most annoying thing is when fought unwinnable battle with AP condition, followed by valimar fight. and suddenly the game crashes randomly. i tried that but keep crashing, so i dont care anymore. just repeat, try hard and hopefully not crash in the middle of battle. anyway, legend of heroes has some crashes issues since trails in the sky.

Are you on Win 10? if so then, open another window then try pressing Alt + Tab when the screen goes black after the fight is "done", wait about 10 to 15 seconds and then switch back to the game. If it doesn't work at first keep trying. Worked for me. I found this solution on the game's steam discussion page.

Yeah I had the same thing happen to me with Alisa, (when I had changed her into one of the DLC costumes, I wanted to see what it looked like), but luckily for me at the time I had just saved before, after I had finished a quest.

If I remember correctly, Your Save file is on a different place. Unless you dig into the directory of your PC and delete the save there, the save should still on your pc.
there's nothing bro :/ the files I have here were Crashrpt and the Bin form the Codex. I tried to re-install it but nothing changed. I can still run the game but in window mode only :( I hope you have another solution there bud?
Just wanted to say that i ran into a glitch where the game would crash after a boss fight, and it happened consistently even after taking off DLC accessories etc. but i was finally able to get past the crash by putting the program in windows 7 compatibility mode. hope this helps anyone with same problem
well early on in the game i had the issue with it crashing and then i just took off all my dlc stuff and got past it, the crash that compatibility mode fixed for me was midway through the game. im not exactly sure what else to do if you tried taking off all dlc and switching to compatibility mode.
Maybe you games don't installed completely or got problem with your graphics card. Try reinstall the games and if didn't work, go update you graphics card to better one.

Hey i also encounter the same problem but i already got past it.Just restart the game if still happening remove all dlc costume and try again it works for me.
If you're using dlc, that might be why you're having problems. Looks like it makes the game crash at times. Try entering the bath with Rean's regular clothes and see how it goes.
Yes, there is a turbo mode, lucky us! For example on my xbox controller, i can activate it by clicking on the left stick. (Which i don't find very practical honestly, so I'm planning on changing that) If you want to know how to use it or how to change the controls, (whether you're using a controller or the keyboard) click on the "Sen2Launcher" in the game directory folder and you can see (and change, if you want) the game's controls by clicking on "Remap controller Buttons" or "Configure Mouse/Keyboard Controls".

I haven Played it yet. But usually it's available and shown in the same tab with all the DLC, you have to press it to unlock Costume. Go to Equip to wear.
Thanks for answering! I did check and unlock everything i found in the DLC menu, and got a lot of useful items... But no costumes, arcuses or accessories. (Except for the anniversary Mishy and arcus ones) I think those might be included because it's launch day? So i probably need to do something with the dlc unlocker but "what" and "how" is the question.
I have played it, Mine does Included everything. The Unlocker you have to Copy and Paste the "Bin" file on the Directory. Go to Open File Location, then Previous File until you see the Launcher, Just paste the file there should do.
ALRIGHT AFTER SOME TRIAL AND ERROR I FINALLY MANAGED TO MAKE THE DLC WORK, (now i can start off the game with a glorious Rean if i want, i mean look at this precious bean! I already played the ps2 version anyways, so i can have fun with this one.) It's actually stupidly easy once you know what to do : put the "steam_emu" file in your game folder (like on the first image i uploaded here) and use the "Sen2launcher" to launch your game. If you don't use the launcher, and use your desktop shortcut like i did for example, he won't find the dlcs so yeah...If you want to use the dlcs, you will have to use the launcher every time you play the game. BE WARNED THOUGH like someone said in the most recent comments, the game crashes when you put on the dlcs (welp, someone will probably fix that later on hopefully) BUT it doesn't erase your data or anything... And i actually found a way to keep it on : put on your costumes etc, save, then exit the menu. The game will crash. However, when you start the game again, your character will have his new outfit on (I only tried with Rean so far so i can't say for the others) and the game won't crash, unless you change his costume/accessories using dlc ones again. I haven't checked the arcuses by the way yet so i can't say if it makes the game crash too. So yeah, as long as you play it smart, you can use the dlcs so have fun! Just in case though : always save before using the dlc for now and i suggest using an additional save when you use them to avoid bad surprises. Have fun guys! ;)
Additional note : i tried switching back and forth outfits on Rean and it doesn't always crash after all. Maybe it only crashes the first time you use a specific dlc? I'm not sure, but it may not be as bad as it looks after all.
There have been some VERY good anime based RPGs in the past few years. If people are into these and haven't played Tales of Berseria from last year that was EASILY the best JRPG I've played in over 10+ years. I didn't play the first one of this, I tried but I'll be honest. I really wasn't into it. Is this going to be playable not knowing a thing from the first game? I usually don't care about stories but this game seems very heavy on story and cutscene.
Yeah, Nihon Falcom JRPGs are well-known for their focus on story and writing. So to understand the game, what and why everything's that happen in ToCS II can happen, playing through the first game is a kind of must. If you're not the kind of gamer who enjoy reading a bunch of text while playing, you wouldn't find much enjoyment in this game. . That being said, Gotta say hands down Trails Series are one of my favorite JRPGs

I think cracking Steam games that don't have extra layers of protect (ex. Denuvo) has become a streamlined, predictable process now. I'm guessing a lot of the 'process' is automated at this point. As for how he obtained the game... I think he still needed to buy it though :o
