I dont know if someone have the same problem as me, the game is running nice, but wen i change to a Controller instead of Keyboard and mouse, i cant run, the character only walk, i press the L3 to run, but open the Translucent Map. Someone can help me?
The game just don't work, I install it, I copy and paste the cracks tools in the x64 folder and when I tried to open the game, even as administrator, just nothing happen

Almost 30gb no way not going for the torrent :P After a bunch of random announces files, and antivirus being like "this is add, this is add, this one too, dude just get the magnet link already!" i did read the url on the magnet and got it downloading fine here, 9mb/s end by 1 hour. Just copy magnet url until before first 'announce' part wrote on it, and open with utorrent or whatever.
All major links are down, Google, mega(both of em) rapid, uptobox and uploaded. Please fix this as there is no way to download this now except for torrent. Update mega up is up, but is the last one available.
the last time i played the original version in ps2, the story was quite meh and it didnt give much impression. the characters are likeable, but not memorable. the story finished so very early if you followed the main quest instead of exploring every dungeons and collecting espers In the end all i have to do was grinding, grinding, and grinding because obtaining all espers are tedious! the last esper i havent gotten is the smallest one, located in a mine without a save crystal along the way (forgot the name. i played the game more than 7-8 years ago) Idk about this version, tho. Is it the same or a bit different? might try downloading this one and see.
After installing the game you have to copy the content of the "codex/crack" (can't remember now) folder and replace the content in the installation folder.
Hey guys, Thanks for the game as always. Got another problem tho. I've been playing it without any trouble since month and now I would like to try some mods (Struggle for freedom is some of you know it), but somehow, I can't make the mods work. I ask other people with cracked version and they got no problem. Even ask the mod creator and he can't find why (mods is installed the right way). Do someone have any ideas why it doesn't work. Found a fix. Run game as admin. When it ask yes or no to run the game, highlight yes then unplug your video cable from the computer then hit enter. wait a few seconds then plug the video cable back in and it should run. works for me
Bump. I had the dll issue where it closed straight away, so I reinstalled C++ as recommended on another website, which got me through to looking like I'd launched the game for about 1/2 a second, the tab at the bottom coming up with "FFXII" but only a brief flash of a white screen, and then nothing. I just changed my firewall settings to allow the program too but that didn't seem to change anything...
So, quick question. I can download and play the game just fine, but as soon as I get into Rabanastre the framerate drops dramatically, where it's almost a consecutive lag the entire time I'm there. I run AMD A19-9600P, 2.40GHz, and 6G of ram. This is all with all of the graphics and sound setting set to lowest. Any tips on getting the game to run smoothly?

Does anyone have any graphic issue in the city ?. I got a weird graphic issues during in city. Its like a model of the construction randomly flash or blink when i turn the camera. If you're redirected to Steam when you try to run the game, you did not install the crack correctly. Make sure you're copying all of the crack's files and replacing everything it asks to replace. If you have issues running the game through its shortcut, try running it through the cracked .exe file directly.
so is there no a fix patch for the slow laggy cutscenes and gameplay?? I tried changing the settings from high to low and even change it to 30fps. it works fine when i start the game but when theres cutscenes the game slows down and gets very laggy.
Fix is probably to buy a new PC or configure your PC properly if you have a decent spec PC. What is your spec is your PC? I'm only using an GTX 760 GPU which is fairly old now but game runs really good for me at a solid 60 fps on cut scenes and during gameplay.

Temporarily disable your antivirus and redownload the game. Once installed, be sure to set up an exception for the game's folder do your AV doesn't delete the crack files.
You could try to redownload the game, then. Unless your download got corrupted somehow or your antivirus software deleted the game's executable, it should be there. I downloaded this through the torrent option as well and it runs perfectly fine for me.

Given the large amount of requests, IGG will not re-upload links unless all download options are unavailable. Mega Up is still working fine and you can bypass the "too many users have viewed or downloaded this file recently" error on Google Drive (You can find how to do this through a quick Google Search). Alternatively, you can also use the torrent download option instead.

Google Drive supports IDM and download pausing/resuming, all you need to do is bypass the download limit which isn't difficult to do (Google how to do it). Additionally, the torrent download option also works really well and I personally recommend it if you're worried about any errors damaging your download. Classic or not, it's just how the site works. As long as there's at least one download option available, it's rare for a game to be re-uploaded unless it gets updated. You could try asking in the "Game Request" section of the site but I can't promise anything.
So far this is my favorite remaster....I don't have any questions, just some tips for game play because if you are like me, your computer doesn't have the balls to play it but you love the game and don't have a PS4: First and foremost, BE PATIENT Second to keep from hunting or making additional work for yourself, on windows 8+ PIN FFXII:TZA to your taskbar, and make a shortcut.... Third, assuming you are getting framerate issues (This is a combo RAM/CPU/GPU) cut down what is loaded...My computer is a AMD A10-5750M with a Discrete AMD 8750M 2 gig graphics....Not good for this game by any stretch but one of the key things, especially with AMD rigs is to make sure your AMD Gaming Evolved (RAPTR.EXE) is shut down, it causes problems, more than using it is worth....Also turn off your v-sync IF you don't, YOU'LL BE SORRY!!! (ugh the static)
I found a fix for frame rate degradation and the controller panning issue. To fix panning issue. you have to uninstall SCP ps4 and 3 drivers also any Wii-u adapter drivers you have for GameCube controllers, And if you have Vjoy installed uninstall those as well. After that the frame rate degradation issue will persist unless your using an Xbox one controller or use a mapper to recognize your ps4 controller as a 360 controller.
I got the patched IZJS. Been trying to decide between playing that version on the emu or going with this remastered version. Playing the original, particularly in higher res on the emulator appeals to me. I heard that the difficulty level of the remastered version was nerfed a bit too. Not a hardcore gamer but I want at least a little bit of a challenge.
Not related, but I tried a bit of the remake of Secret of Mana recently, and it seems VERY much easier. They tend to make games easier overall, huh... About FF12... Anyway, overall, I don't find the graphics changes that great, and the little gameplay changes don't convince me either, so I guess I'll stick to the emulated version. At least I'll be able to quicksave anytime. 😅 And use filters! (ok we can use Sweetfx with the PC version)

Not sure because I haven't played the game yet. But are you saying there's no launcher or exe file in the game folder? What about subfolders? There should be an executable somewhere in there.
So im having an issue with all my controllers the games camera keeps angling up and i cant seem to fix it. even with no controller it it does this. I can move the camera horizontally but not vertically. My controllers work fine every other game i don't have this problem. Also the game seems to be running like shit, It feels like 15fps only game that does this aswell i can run witcher 3 at Max settings on this system.
Do you tried to play with Keyb/Mouse abit? I remember in a other game i had a issue like what you described(angling up),i changed to KB/Mouse(just played without controller) and then i was later able to play with controllers.I hope it helps.

Sometimes its simply not working.. I know that may sound stupid, but I heavily recommend buying a PS4 controller.. You can get them for 30 bucks on ebay, but with it you can play EVERYTHING at last. :s

If you downloaded it before the game was cracked, then you should be able to just download the crack by itself. If you downloaded after, you already have everything.

Do you know how to read? Denuvo is meant to delay the release of a crack. Even if it's just a few weeks then it's accomplished it's goal. The first 2-3 weeks are the most crucial to a game's sales and if a game is uncracked for that period then Denuvo has done it's job. In the case of this game, it's done it's job

The moment people learn that an upcoming game are to ship with denuvo, a substantial PR damage is done, some interests killed, some comfort in planning to buy averted, some potential sales lost. This is because many good guy devs nowadays are doing heartwarming things for their buyers, they spend resources for customer satisfaction (content update etc), none for defensive things like denuvo. This create positive, respectable branding. Spending resources on denuvo, which could technically go to customer satisfaction instead, is creating negative branding. There are concerns with denuvo (performance etc), which reduce potential customers' ease of mind. Denuvo, at best, is one step forward one step back.
Do you know where that bad PR comes from though? It comes from FALSE REPORTS. For a time there was the notion that Denuvo made games run more poorly and even damaged computers and affected stability. This is false. Most people have that attitude towards Denuvo because they still think that Denuvo will hinder performance and damage their rigs when there has been no proof of that happening. The companies that employ Denuvo have more than enough resources to employ denuvo and STILL offer customer satisfaction, they simply choose not to. Not because of Denuvo itself but because big companies simply don't care about gamers, they only care about their earnings. Denuvo is not to blame for the bad PR companies get, it's a single factor in a much, MUCH broader scope
You don't know if they all are false. How can you prove that the claims are not credible? I saw some game owners on steam forum recently (forgot the game but rather recent) saying that they compared the legit version vs cracked version (denuvo completely stripped, not just bypassed) and they say the cracked version runs substantially better. Nowadays you can see a special icons on game forum indicating if someone actually owns the game. They own the legit game so they can credibly compare it with cracked version. This is an example of credible claim.

Need for Speed Payback and Star Wars Battlefront II both have an always-online DRM in addition to Denuvo. It is simply impossible to crack these games as they require a constant internet connection to their game servers and the DRM files are on said servers, not on the game's files. I think Injustice 2 is the same, but I haven't looked into that one.

If you check out Crack Watch they have Battlefront 2 filed under "Uncracked" and as a side not saying it has Origin DRM. The FIRST Battlefront was online only though

Yeah there's that too. I remember some time back being able to run it pretty decent on my Pavillion DV7 laptop at 2x native and that laptop is about 7 years old. Thing has dedicated graphics but still it's pretty dated hardware.
There are some improvements for sure. But IZJS on the emu is a pretty solid way to go as an alternative. You got pretty much the same core game in widescreen and it looks pretty darn good in 1080p and above.
9 days and counting.... Denuvo still strong up in this bitch. So far, 1:0 for DRM. Just get with it. Buy and be always online. Even for a single player game. That's your future.
If your internet is that bad, I'd recommend you don't download this game yet. There is a possibility that everyone will need to redownload the game's files when a crack is released if the game gets updated or if DLC is released.

You guys really need to stop saying this. It's the same game, but it's also not. The international version didn't have the ability to choose between 2 jobs at any time, it didn't have the balancing this one has, it didn't have the graphics upgrades (not just resolution, but textures and video), it didn't have alternate BGM, It didn't have the choice of voice track, the voice tracks weren't as high quality, it didn't have 7.1 audio support. I could go on and on. Although it's the same game, It's not the same game.
I don't think people are implying that it's exactly the same but just a viable alternative to waiting for the game to be cracked. One of the main criticisms of this release is that it didn't add enough from the original. Emulated IZJS isn't going to be the same but close enough in some peoples' view. Heck, sometimes going the PCSX2 route is actually the better way to go. KH2 Final Mix is a good example of that, as compared to the remastered PS3 version. Up to 4k res and 60fps (patched) vs 720p capped at 30fps meant going the emulated route made for the superior experience. You'll no doubt get the superior experience with this release vs emulated IZJS. But emulated IZJS isn't too shabby at all for people who want to play it now.
For CPY Crack can you wait 50 or 90+ days to come crack. Sonic 75 days, Assassin's Creed: Origins 99+ days, Star Ocean: The Last Hope 60 days, crack will 100% come
The time it took to crack one game should not be taken as the baseline for future releases. Each game is different and the time to crack them varies from game to game. I do agree that a crack will be released eventually, but it may take longer than any of those games you mentioned, or it may very well be released in just a few more days. Nobody really knows for sure.
Different Denuvo version, pretty sure RE7 being cracked so quickly was done as a statement against Denuvo being the "impossible DRM" everyone had taken it for. I'm not sure what you mean by "accelerated". There aren't many people here who download these files and buy the game off Steam, those that do one don't usually do the other. My recommendation would be to just download the game through Steam if you already bought it and see if the issue persists. If it does, try asking around the Steam community for the game.
This question is asked literally every time a Denuvo protected game is released. The answer will always be the same. Denuvo wasn't created to be impossible to crack, it was created to delay them. Unless a game is protected by always-online DRM, it will always be cracked. It just takes time.
Please do look up on differences before posting stuff like this. While this is a remake of a PS2 game, it does add new content exclusive to this version.

Not surprised it does, I've still never played it myself though. I've just played the official English version. That link should still give a general idea on the differences it has with the English version, people can then just compare that with the features added in this version and see which they prefer.
I did try the english patch on the JP version and it was fun but the JP dub wasn't my taste. I saw a HUGE differences compare the english ps2 version vs the JP ps2 version. But it was too much for me to handle all those feature and JP dub on PS2 emulator.
I'm the same way with FF titles. Been playing FFXIV again lately and I tried out the JP dub for a few quests, I ended up changing it back to English before long. Then again, I tend to prefer English dubs unless they're just terrible compared to the Japanese ones, with some few exceptions.

Not everyone has the option to purchase the game for any number of reasons. Something people need to understand is that what for you may be pocket money may very well be too much for someone else to spend on a game. I'd understand telling someone who's being impatient to buy the game if they just can't wait, but OP here is one of the few patient users on the site.
Not everyone has that option. One should never assume that our own situation is identical to that of everyone else, no two lives are the same. Rolling Guy's reply sums it up pretty well.
I never stated that one should just steal something they want but can't afford, the point I was making was that people shouldn't assume everyone is in their same situation. OP was telling people to buy the game instead of waiting for a crack because it was 22 Euros, I simply responded that those 22 Euros may be too much for other people to spend on a game. Rolling Guy's comment explains it a bit better.
And you being a "not rich" adult should understand that the money could be spent on more important stuff than a game. Say bills, groceries, rent, tuition, etc. Of course, unless you're a kid and hasn't had to do adulting and rely on your parent's money. Of course it would make sense you can save money for games. Otherwise, you're not really "not rich" and more of middle class. It makes more sense to suggest waiting for the game to go on sale and buy it then. Which is personally what I do after I "try" the game and end up liking it.
I'm not sure what you're talking about, but this game is not playable yet as there is no working crack for it. I'd recomment people wait to download it once a crack is released since updates and potential DLC might make people re-download the entire game again anyway.

Well It's not against you guys but since even the last Assassin's Creed took 3month to be cracked, and Square tried to protect this game hard it might take some times :/
The only reason Assassin's Creed Origins took so long was because it had a new (at the time) Denuvo variant, VMProtect to protect the Denuvo, and Uplay on top of that. With three layers of DRM and it getting cracked in 3 months, I'd say that was really fast.I do agree with Keezow though, the other 4.8 Denuvo games (this one included) should be cracked fast now that the crackers aren't dealing with Assassin's Creed anymore.
Yeah, with there being 4.8 cracks now. they most likely have a good idea where to start on the crack and that will mean faster cracking times. I'd say give it a week or so for the next 4.8 crack unless multiple groups crack different games all at once, but that would just be hopeful thinking.

You can safely download this and place it into your steam's FFXII game folder without issue, as these files do not have the crack included yet. Just start the game's download through Steam, then cancel it, move the contents of this download into the game's folder and try to download it through Steam again. If all works well, Steam will just check the files, download a couple files that may be missing/edited and overall cut your download time by quite a bit. I actually do this often when I have a game downloaded and I later get it on Steam, I just copy over the files and save on the time it'd take me to redownload through Steam.
Just done it by now, i can confirm it works, just put the game data on steamapps common and install the game, the steam will checking the directory for existing game data, and voila! Great props for the guys above me tjough

If you made a post saying "another full unlock" below, that means this isn't the first one you've seen on this site. By now you should know what the term "Full Unlocked" means and that it is accurate to label these games as such.
Depends on a number of factors. They may be giving the game a grace period to allow sales before releasing a crack (which has happened in the past), or waiting on potential DLC releases or game updates. There's also no indication that 4.8 doesn't require a long time to crack even if it's been cracked before. Don't get me wrong, I'd be very much happy if this did get cracked in just a few days, but I wouldn't put that as the norm with Denuvo games, that just makes people get riled up when something takes months even though that Denuvo version has been cracked before.

They follow what the JP version have. The US version doesn't have this feature in the final product because it need to be release on time so it was remove. They finally get that one stuff that was missing in the US version in this one but it was a bit too late. For those who play the JP version patch with english have a chance to play it ahead of time. Well this game also add new game plus which is what I really want. I really do want new game plus because the PS2 version, once you complete the game, you got nothing to do but cry yourself to sleep when beat the game.

alot of people liked this for its sheer size and basically MMO style gameplay in a single player game, which I guess I did too. story and characters were....gay still the amount of time i put into this one, even tho it was years ago, idk probably be too burnt out on it to play again.
Doesn't A Realm Reborn use the same or at least an incredibly similar combat mechanic? Maybe that's why i didn't like it so much, cause it felt too MMO at the time and i was much MUCH more used to turn based. And yes the story and characters never gripped me enough to make me want to finish. Like i said i will most likely skip this one and focus on XV instead
i dont know what realm reborn is. this is probably the last numbered in the series i played. besides that one with lightning in it, I started playing a while ago on steam and havent picked it back up yet
A Realm Reborn is the Final Fantasy MMO that a ton of people are playing right now. The combat system is super similar to this but, as Kaozurei said, more fluid
A Realm Reborn (assuming you're talking about FFXIV here) uses the same combat system, though it's a bit more fluid and skills have about 2 or so seconds in between uses with skills you can use during those 2 seconds to string together combos. Personally, I like the combat there more than the combat on XII, reminds me to the combat on Xenoblade Chronicles down to positionals and stuff. That said, I liked XII when I played it years ago. It was something different and I liked how similar it felt to an MMO without being one. Just my tastes I guess~
The original .Hack game aged like milk xD. But G.U. aged well, plus with the remaster it's only gotten better. With you liking FFXII you'll most likely love G.U. I can't wait til March 6th, then FFXV will be out and from the little I played on my friends PS4, it plays really nice.

I didn't mean that as an attack to you or to your opinion. To me, there are a number of glaring flaws in this game that keeps it from being the best game I've ever played. It's not that I don't like FFXII, I put a ton of time on it back when I still had my PS2, it's just that I've since played a bunch of other games that I just grew to like better. That said, I have already mentioned in other posts that I am looking forward to playing this once it gets cracked, and I don't make it a habit to badmouth games even when I have no interest in them, which I really wasn't doing in this case. This game is 12 years old too many did not play it or hear about it before, nothing wrong with a re-master since it was a huge selling for them back in the day, treat it as a new game since this time it is released on PC, pretty sure it got its own fans happy about it coming to PC and new ones who didn't get to enjoy it back in the day.

All Final Fantasy's bellow VII are remastered or remaked. On Steam you can find all games from III to VI (Including III) remastered or remaked. The I and II you can find in other plataforms like Gameboy Advanced and PSP.

After a bunch of random announces files, and antivirus being like "this is add, this is add, this one too, dude just get the magnet link already!" i did read the url on the magnet and got it downloading fine here, 9mb/s end by 1 hour.
Just copy magnet url until before first 'announce' part wrote on it, and open with utorrent or whatever.

In the end all i have to do was grinding, grinding, and grinding because obtaining all espers are tedious! the last esper i havent gotten is the smallest one, located in a mine without a save crystal along the way (forgot the name. i played the game more than 7-8 years ago)

Got another problem tho. I've been playing it without any trouble since month and now I would like to try some mods (Struggle for freedom is some of you know it), but somehow, I can't make the mods work. I ask other people with cracked version and they got no problem. Even ask the mod creator and he can't find why (mods is installed the right way).

Make sure you're copying all of the crack's files and replacing everything it asks to replace. If you have issues running the game through its shortcut, try running it through the cracked .exe file directly.
I tried changing the settings from high to low and even change it to 30fps.

If you get this message when trying to download from Google Drive, stating that too many users have viewed or downloaded the file recently, it doesn't mean that the file is unavailable. Here's a step-by-step bypass anyone can do, just note that you will need a Google Drive account in order to make it work. Registration is free and doesn't take long.
Onto the bypass:
1- Open the Google Drive link you want to download and note the link's address (i.e. http://drive.google.com/uc?id=YOUR LINK'S ID HERE). Normal links will have a bunch of numbers and letters after the id.
2- Replace the bolded "uc?" in the link's address with "open?" and press enter. Your link would then look like "http://drive.google.com/open?id=YOUR LINK'S ID HERE". This will take you to another Google Drive page.
3- In this new window, you will see a little triangle icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen right next to your Google profile picture. If you hover your cursor over it, it will read "Add to my Drive". Click on that, wait for a bit. The triangle icon will change to a folder icon instead.

Classic or not, it's just how the site works. As long as there's at least one download option available, it's rare for a game to be re-uploaded unless it gets updated. You could try asking in the "Game Request" section of the site but I can't promise anything.

Second to keep from hunting or making additional work for yourself, on windows 8+ PIN FFXII:TZA to your taskbar, and make a shortcut....
Third, assuming you are getting framerate issues (This is a combo RAM/CPU/GPU) cut down what is loaded...My computer is a AMD A10-5750M with a Discrete AMD 8750M 2 gig graphics....Not good for this game by any stretch but one of the key things, especially with AMD rigs is to make sure your AMD Gaming Evolved (RAPTR.EXE) is shut down, it causes problems, more than using it is worth....Also turn off your v-sync IF you don't, YOU'LL BE SORRY!!! (ugh the static)

I guess that one of the nice things is being able to switch between languages, but... We can already download patched PS2 iso of FF12 with the original voices. (OR English on IZJS, if we want...)
Also, it says "improved load times", but anyway, with an emulator, you can have the load times even faster.
Anyway, overall, I don't find the graphics changes that great, and the little gameplay changes don't convince me either, so I guess I'll stick to the emulated version.

The moment people learn that an upcoming game are to ship with denuvo, a substantial PR damage is done, some interests killed, some comfort in planning to buy averted, some potential sales lost. This is because many good guy devs nowadays are doing heartwarming things for their buyers, they spend resources for customer satisfaction (content update etc), none for defensive things like denuvo. This create positive, respectable branding. Spending resources on denuvo, which could technically go to customer satisfaction instead, is creating negative branding. There are concerns with denuvo (performance etc), which reduce potential customers' ease of mind.
Denuvo, at best, is one step forward one step back.
I saw some game owners on steam forum recently (forgot the game but rather recent) saying that they compared the legit version vs cracked version (denuvo completely stripped, not just bypassed) and they say the cracked version runs substantially better. Nowadays you can see a special icons on game forum indicating if someone actually owns the game. They own the legit game so they can credibly compare it with cracked version. This is an example of credible claim.

Denuvo was not created to be impossible to crack, it was created to delay crack releases. So far, Denuvo has accomplished this goal in every single game that has used it, except for Resident Evil 7.
It is especially true in these later Denuvo versions.

Emulated IZJS isn't going to be the same but close enough in some peoples' view. Heck, sometimes going the PCSX2 route is actually the better way to go. KH2 Final Mix is a good example of that, as compared to the remastered PS3 version. Up to 4k res and 60fps (patched) vs 720p capped at 30fps meant going the emulated route made for the superior experience.
You'll no doubt get the superior experience with this release vs emulated IZJS. But emulated IZJS isn't too shabby at all for people who want to play it now.

My recommendation would be to just download the game through Steam if you already bought it and see if the issue persists. If it does, try asking around the Steam community for the game.

I'd understand telling someone who's being impatient to buy the game if they just can't wait, but OP here is one of the few patient users on the site.
OP was telling people to buy the game instead of waiting for a crack because it was 22 Euros, I simply responded that those 22 Euros may be too much for other people to spend on a game. Rolling Guy's comment explains it a bit better.
Of course, unless you're a kid and hasn't had to do adulting and rely on your parent's money. Of course it would make sense you can save money for games. Otherwise, you're not really "not rich" and more of middle class.
It makes more sense to suggest waiting for the game to go on sale and buy it then. Which is personally what I do after I "try" the game and end up liking it.
