In case people are wondering about updates so you don't post asking and get in trouble, the good people here It IGG games said yesterday that they would update both My Time at Sandrock and My Time at Portia to the latest version. I guess check both in a couple of day from this post as they have to have time to sort everything out before they post it.
I have been played this game im on day 4 in game every time i continue the game a few minutes white screen and close and when i try to reload i can hear the music and my character punching when i press mouse 1 but black screen at all
Okay, so...I just downloaded this, and it didn't require an install or a crack. It was just the folder, which is always nice. However, when I click to start the game, it opens up Steam, and I get a message that says "Failure. no licenses."
Anyone know what's causing this and/or how to get around it? I know S.O.P. for steam popping up is to put the crack files into the game's main folder, but...like I said, there AREN'T any crack files. Plus I've never seen this message pop up before. So...yeah.
It seems that i did something wrong and this keeps popping up when i try to install the 2.0.13 update.

I didn't delete anything from the game and the v11.09.2021 didn't came with any installer (just a bunch of files and the launcher. v11.09.2021 works just fine when i launched it but the update wont install.
Hey buddy, I had the same problem until I managed to figure it out. I'll share my findings with you. 1.) Uninstall the game, if present on your computer 2.) Go into the .iso folder and open the setup.exe folder (You should see PLAZA on top of the setup application 3.) Make sure the "Copy contents of PLAZA directory to installdir" is checked (Important!) 4.) Run the installer as usual 5.) Enjoy. The game should hopefully work now Let me know if I was able to help you (and others) :)
If you open game then its close by itself "your antivirus quarantine the installer and update " Disable it and you will be alright. You can turn it back after installation is finished

Download the updates with your antivirus off. That's what corrupted my Plaza updater. Now that I've done and fixed it, I'm off to continue my Deforestation Adventure.

Can someone help me, i'm trying to update to version v2.0.134241 (the second update) but it keep on freezing on this file called "cg.cdx_newfile" i've tried reextracting the file, uninstall and install again, nothing works
For me the 4th update would throw an error and then I realized I was trying to install it with the antivirus turned on. After I turned off the antivirus, the game and it's updates installed correctly. The antivirus was probably blocking one of the installation dll files of the installer.
Game and updates worked perfectly up to v2.0.137882. Only thing to point out to people, us that you might need to turn off your antivirus. Sadly I forgot and the last update got an error, as probably my AV blocked a component of the installer. I ended up having to install the whole thing from the beginning. Either way, it works perfectly, thanks! PS: As a side tip. If you do not want to have a duplicated Yoyo, which is one of the kickbacker DLC pet, make sure to not Keep (accept) one of the two blank letters from the developers in your mailbox. I say blank, because they do not say or show what the reward is. If you accept the box, the little pet will appear in game duplicated and there is no way to get rid of it. If it annoys you to have your mailbox always showing that you have mail, then you can get an Abandon Tag (got it from mysterious man for about 3500) and give it to the second Yoyo. It will not remove him from game, but he will stop living with you.
For those who are having difficulty updating the game. I broke my head, I don't understand much, so I hope it helps those who don't understand either, because in read me it is not mentioned. When you update, go back to the folder and replace the files in the portia data folder where the update is. So it will work it replaces every time I updated, but I think it can be replaced only by the last update, so it will run smooth!

Help. The three updates were installed without any issues. I launched the game every single time I updated it to check the version. When I tried to install the fourth one, it didn't go through, saying it's a patch for 2.0.136413 which is already installed. Then all of a sudden, the game itself was uninstalled.
I downloaded all updates, but when I got to UPDATE V2.0.136413, it gives me red lines( indicating it hasn't found what it was looking for, i guess). I tried to run the game and it crashed before the menu screen. Deleted it. Installed fresh, but didn't install any updates. Am currently playing for 88+ hours now. Is there anything important in the updates that is needed for me to fully experience this game or I can just leave it as is? Edit: Apparently the updates I downloaded using torrents where the problem. The updates here were no problem at all to install, everything was a success.
just installed everything and every update, the last update 2.0.137882 was stuck so i cancelled the installation and was going to restart it when i noticed it DELETED my whole My time at portia folder and game, wow. here we go again (just a warning for anybody, love igg-games not their fault)
I have done install UPDATE V2.0.137882 INCLU DLC Player Attire Package. According to patch notes : "The player pack includes 8 new exciting player costumes. You can collect your new clothing from the mailbox outside the workshop!" . I checked mailbox but found nothing. Can anyone help me? Thanks

Instal Patch in UPDATE folder and if you dont checklist auto-copy ("Copy Contents of Codex directory to instaldirr") crack before installation, you can apply manually crack in CODEX folder

Is the file size less than 5 MB? Did you get the file directly, or have you used an exe? If the answer to any of the questions is yes, you downloaded an ad. Please try downloading the files again and make sure you get the correct ones.
None of these links are working for me and every time i tried the only ones working (Torrent & MegaUp) But every time i try to download it i get fake files from both sites someone please help i'm dying to play this game.
its simple you close the fake pop up that's about 1mb and the real file is the second one make sure it is not just a few megabytes gives away its a virus or something , the second time you click on it it is the real file hah

Works perfectly. Someone may confused with many update. You just need download ALL updates(3 of them) and update them respectively. Even you mess up the order(like me due to confused with 6 digit number of version) or try to update only last version the update will not let you do so. And for those who have game older than version 2.0. I don't think last 3 patch gonna works. Just download game version 2.0 and ALL update, and update them respectively.
You need to download all of it. Or should i call restart it again? What i heard from v1.1 cant be updated to 2.0... so its better to instal it again from the scratch
I was able to fix it, i'm not entirely sure how because I was messing around with all the updates. i'll tell you what I think did the job, I went to the game file and saw that I have file that was called "codex" and inside it there was another file that was called "Portia_Data". I noticed that outside that "codex" file (in the entire game file), I had another file that was called "Portia_Data". I moved both of those files into my desktop and I saw text file that was called something "gameOverlayRenderer" in the game file, I deleted that document and went into "_CommonRedist" file and install dotnetfx35. after that I moved back the "Portia_Data" file and the game worked for me, (it was the "Portia_Data" file that wasn't inside the codex one). make sure that the Portia_Data file that you move back in have more than just 2 files that called "managed" and "plugins". Hopefully it will work for you as well, good luck!
I think I fixed it. All I did was copy and drag the items in the New update to the game files. So far it did open and seems to working. Crossing my fingers!

There's a folder called "update" if it was the update you wanted to install. In that folder you click the setup.exe-file and tick the box "copy contents of...."

yes you can continue your game from v.1 to v.2, but for me though have bug that every day my farm always spawn the trees even i already cut it all but dont take my word.. you should just download it and make separate game folder.. and try it yourself.. ;)

what kind crashing? do error message pop up? or it just closed after you open? Try install not to install it on your system storage (C;) and try to start the game with As Administrator.
Do you installed the CRACK? Go in the CODEX folder and copy (Portia_Data) to directory of game installation. Do the same after you installing the UPDATE. OBS:If it doesn't work, try to start the game as ADMINISTRATOR. TY, I hope you'll can fix the problem.
still does not work. I did just that. I installed it, went to the CODEX folder, copied and pasted the folder in the game directory, and replaced it when prompted. but the game still dont wanna open, every time I run the game it close right away
copy content inside the CODEX folder into your game directory. or if you're that dumb. When you install the game, click/check the part "Copy CODEX file into game directly" that will automatically copy the crack.

Hi ppl i got Error while trying to install the game. Note that i dont have Antivirus installed, no random errors while extracting the game or any other error while downloading the game so idk what happend...Btw i downloaded Torrent version of the game

Usually, when we're installing a game, the amount of required space in the HDD ends up being a little bit larger than the space required to store the game after installation. Almost the same happens with RAM in a process of "decompression for installation". Check it, pls. PS: It might isn't your problem. If it isn't, try sending more pictures/screenshots from your TASK MANAGER during installation. TY. I hope you'll can fix your problem.
in "Search" on Start Meni Type in %appdata% u will enter in Roaming folder, then just click on Appdata in the location of the file and look for the folder that u are looking for

You're trying to execute it from temp I think. Whatever you are doing, make sure to properly save it all and extract it. If there is an "open" and a "save" option, use save then find it on your computer.
Does this game had character voice other than background music and ambient? Because, when I played it the character doesn't say anything but text dialouge only. Is it the game meant to be like that?
I check the web, they had voice actor for the npc characters. somewhat it doesn't appear on game? Is it just me or it's not yet implemented in the game?
did check even reinstalled, it's working but there seems to be some missing voice dialogue in cuts scene, or sometime the voice came out only in the middle of cuts scene.
Should be in your documents. And yes, after installing the base game, you need to install the updates in that order. Or, well, did. Now they updated the download to 2.0, so just redownload it and install. Saves will be just fine.
suit yourself. I got update 3 to work, some got 2 to work but not 3, some don't at all. this is why I dual boot win7 you already finished the game so it didn't really matter anyway
Well, the guy above explained its fix it was just "Execute with admin rights" the launcher. Thanks anyway... for the tips... and for your time. (i just deleted some not necessary chat) i do know admins here are hardcore about spam and "visual spam"
he's probably talking about setup.exe from the codex update it performs an md5 check so you'll know if the files don't match, and they do for any release of the game I had a quick look online and it just might be a win 10 issue
install the games, then all the updates (the first one is an executable, and the second and third ones are to be extracted and replaced all the files)
then, just execute the launcher as an admin and it should work properly. I had the same message as others when trying to execute the launcher without execute this as an admin, now it's OK.
What files exactly should I replace in the second and third updates? I've tried everything but opens with Steam everytime... I'm giving up on this and play it just with the first update.

Lol ok, I'm on a permanent admin user acc so I forgot that even existed. Still nothing new here, the game is still a fishing simulator even after the updates.
I downloaded the latest update and then I try to copy paste all the file...then I play, it start with the steam 😅😅 Did I do something wrong or do I need to wait the crack version ?

so i downloaded the game through the torrent and downloaded all 3 the updates and copied the files into the game folder but everytime i start up the game now i get a black screen, i can see the game's cursor but the screen just stays black......before i installed the updates the game started but when loading it crashed... so idk what i did wrong but does anyone know the answere to this?? also is it needed to install all 3 the updates?

You need to manually move the crack files over since you didn't check the box to have it auto installed during the installation process. Or you can uninstall and reinstall and make sure you check the box to 'Copy Crack Contents' to have it auto applied during the installation.
Please help, I downloaded this before and didnt have any problems but my laptop crashed and I had to reinstall everything. When I tried reinstalling this, the game was loading but kept crashing when I tried to load the game with the update. I re and uninstalled it multiple times now I can't even install it anymore because I keep getting the isdone.dll error. My laptop is not really in the requirements but the game ran fine when I did have it before. Please help, this game is really the only game that I'm really interested in that gives me Animal Crossing Vibes.

Hello, you have to dl the UPDATE ( it's in green at the end of the instruction to install ) you unzip it and install it in the folder of the game and no more error !
Did you check "copy contents of CODEX directly to installer" when you install the game? I think if you don't check that, the game will not be crashed. If you didn't, maybe you should try to copy the CODEX folder into your game folder. Hope it will work:)
This update is supposed to have ambient sound now. Just read the update. And if you watch videos on youtube you can hear birds etc. So yes, this crack is broken. :>
You should read it yourself: "some environmental sounds". And yes, I do get bird sounds near trees, crickets during the night, wind, etc. They didn't really add a lot of ambient sounds in this update (they even broke some), and steam users are complaining about it. So no, it's not the crack. It's the game. :>
Wait what? You get those sounds? I don't.. :< Ran around with no music for awhile and I got nothing. Weird considering we use the same crack. Even started a new save to see if my old save was broken, still nothing.

did you apply the crack? Its pretty easy (I tell you how to do it from the beginning): download all parts - I assume you already did that. After that, you have to unpack all files at the same moment - you will get an iso file that you have to mount with a virtual drive (for example Daemon tools or WinCDEmu like me). After you mounted it, you will see the setup - do the setup. Usually there is a check box that says "Copy content of CODEX into install dir." Check that and your problem will be solved. Now to the update...: again, repeat steps untill the setup. In this case, DON'T check the box with the Codex, you will have to do this manually. In the virtual drive there is a folder named Codex, open it, copy the contents, go to your game files and copy paste it :D Easy peasy! Hope that helps you, mathew (sorry for my bad english)

Correct me if i'm wrong. First thing is, open up the update file that i've just downloaded. Then go to CODEX folder and there will be another folder named Portia_Data. Copy the file name Managed and Plugins. In my installed game there's also a folder named Portia_Data, so i just paste it and replace right. After that play the game as usual, but my problems start at that when the notification page stuck for quite a long time. So i think about what if i install the game again and use my old saved games in the new one. Can it still work or will i need to start playing all over again? (sorry for my English)
oh no... Well, You have to do the setup- the setup is in the update folder. Do the setup and after that open the codex folder and JUST copy the contents into your game files :D Maybe there ia a problem because you don't have the older updates installed?

Hmm, you have almost the same specs as me, you even have a better cpu than me, so It can't be your Pc that has a problem with the game. How about you try to disable your antivirus or/ and set it to your ignore list in the scanning option

Hey3, i got some great news! I thought about restarting the game and play from the scratch by downloading the game again in here. I only download the update file that igg provided and not the whole game bcs i already had it. Luckily i didn't delete my old game yet and when it starts my saved games was still there, and the latest update was so cool lol. i'm so happy. Bye!
I have downloaded and installed it , but whenever i open this game, i show up the problem that is " My time at portia has encountered an error and must close" A crash report name ..... has been generared." Does anyone know how to fix this? thx in advance.
I have an issue: Whenever I try to open the game (with updates AND without) it opens for all of half of a second. The cursor changes to the in-game one for the same amount of time, and the game immediately crashes. I've tried downloading from a few different places, but they all have the same problem. I haven't had issues downloading cracks before. What could be the issue?
Just install without codex files install: after the game is installed, launch the game (the game close immediatly it's normal) now copy past the codex files (managed and plugins) and relaunch the problem is now fixed normaly
After I installed without copying the codex files and opened the game, I was brought to the game's steam page. After copying the codex files, the same problem occurred as before.
Maybe your PC doesn't meet the requirements for playing the game? Or try to launch the game as admin and disable your antivirus (or: put the game in the ignore list in your antivirus scanner). Hope that helps you a bit

Hey guys, my progress is now at Starlight Island. There's one room we need to fight two marching pigs to get throught th level. But one of it just walk throught the wall and dissapears immediately after the conversation with Mali. And I'm stuck eith the mission forever. I searched online to check for any possible solutions. Seems like alot of people had this problem, and Steam replies: We are sorry to hear that you encountered the problem on Starlight Island. yeah when the first time boot up the game the sound is muted in the option menu need to check it before play the game btw sometimes there are no sound when we conserve with the npc
that's kinda weird yes, some NPC don't talk some does, though i don't know if all NPC's have a voice, but assuming everyone has, then it's not normal, it's a bug that they don't notice? cause it's so obvious
If you work for a living you would be able to. If you're underage to work, open a limonade stand putting some small effort and you're on to buying any games you want. I would advise you to save it though, investing it in more lucrative avenues for better future.

Had a similar problem, I would install games and 8/10 times they would display the same error message. Did a clean Windows install and now it works like new
I have installed the game and all the previous updates from IGG and this latest update worked fine for me. Don't know why so many people are having trouble with this.
For those who couldn't launch the game, make sure that you disable ur antivirus applications before installing and updating. I didn't use the update provided here. I used the one provided by Codex at their official website, and that worked for me.

I don't think so, cause I've tried downloading the updated but none of them work. It's best to just download the game and just not update it from here since allot of people before us had problems with the updates.

Do not update the game, it's not worth it. I've already tried doing that multiple ways but none worked out. It happen to other people before me, as well. So it's best to just download the game and keep it on the version it's at until someone realese the real update for you to download.
you must be downloading it wrong than :o @jackopie you have to first download the game, keep the file for the game once you extract it on your computer. Than go into the games folder extract the igg-games whatever it's called file, than start the setup for the game. Once you've done that. Do NOT start the game yet. Go to the none extracted version of the file in your downloads of course, click on it and open up the games folder which is the igg-games file where the game is located at with the setup, yeah go there than copy the Portia_data file if I'm correct on the name, copy that file and replace the one you have on the extracted version of the games file. Simple as that and you should be able to play it. Hopefully this helps out?
Ads will appear everywhere it's annoying, that's why it's best to have the extension for your Google chrome borwser or Firefox browser, the adblock extension. It blocks ads. But if you don't use none of those browsers than I suggest you go to the download where your trying to download it at, and keep clicking on the 'download' button, when ya know the countdown is done. Just click on it the first time, if it leads you to an ad than close the page, than redo the process but that's IF that same page isn't loaded to where the download page is at. It's pretty easy thing to do.
Well that's because you might be installing the game wrong lol. When you install the setup for the game, do not start the game up at all. Instead go to the file where you extracted the game at. And click on the in extracted file for the game. It should open. Once it's open go back on that file and go to the place where the extrated version of the file lies in. Click on that folder than go inside of the igg something file where the game and setup file is at(while your still on the non extracted file, you should be doing this) and copy the portia_data and replace that same file that you have inside the extracted file for the game. You should be able to find that file within the codex file. If I'm correct. Hopefully this helps out.

In the installer of update there ahould be a check box that says copy the content of codex folder if you have checked that and installed it successfully you're good to play
In case anyone tries to download the update, please do NOT do it. Something is wrong with this users files on the update that makes the game well stop working, as in it doesn't wanna load up the game at all. BUT if you know how to mess with that type of stuff than by all means go right ahead. But for me as i said on my comment down bellow the comment section; it doesn't wanna work no matter what i do.

That doesn't work at all. I already showed screenshots of what that update does to the game itself. Plus more new people had problems with the update as well. So I'm not gonna risk updating the game and than I have to reinstall the game, do all that extra work once more. Thank you but nope.
There aren't any screen with your name however i suppose The screen should be the one posted by Kaoru San(alternate account?) these screens are confusing. the problem is probably on your side so it's hard to help without knowing how updated may be your system take a look at my video and did you try to install the setup inside common redist folder? and just to be safe install Visual c++56 to install most of the Redist required from Games/softwares
I just downloaded the updates like 10 min ago, and my game works just fine. I dont know if your computer have some sort of issues. But as i said, my game works just fine.
Edit: For some odd reason the updates aren't working at all on my end, i've tried downloading in order like privat mensch did but it doesn't work rather makes the game not work for crap, now i've tried downloading them as mismatch same thing happens, which caused me to delete and re download allot of times to see if the updates work. So yeah i advice ya'll to NOT update the game, not unless you know how to deal with that type of stuff than go right ahead and update. I shall try a different site for the update of this game. You need to update the game in order basically like this: Download: 1: UPDATE V1.0.128791: Than Download: 2: UPDATE V1.0.128955: Finally: 3. UPDATE V1.0.129133: I suggest you download these updates threw megadrive if you can, cause apparently people are having trouble downloading it through googledrive. Also once you've downloaded them all, extract them and you have to install each update in order like i just showed you. 1 is update: V1.0.128791, number 2 is update: v1.0.128955, finally number 3 is well you can see lol. Anyway i hope this helps you out, if the updates do not really work than it may be the files this person uploaded them up.

I don't know what to say outside of try reinstalling the game...all the updates worked for me. Chrome tried blocking the last two but thats just cause they were new.

That's what's happening to me, every time i tried to open the application itself the game of course, it would send me to stinking steam for no reason at all :/, i even installed all of the update patches but nothing seems to work. so i'm lost here, I've even tried doing the tutorial that is on here. But that doesn't work.
Great game. It's 3D Stardew Valley but the focus is more on constructing objects rather than farming (but you can farm). You do all of the same things - seasonal events, minigames, relationships with townspeople by giving them gifts, light dungeon crawling for certain items, improving your workshop and accessing new resources. The 3D also allows for some platforming sections and more varied exploration.
Is the Voice acting not working only for me? Any idea how to fix if it's just on my end? (tried reinstalling completly several times, with and/or without patch)

i have to admit this game its good but comparing this with stardew valley i prefer stardew and why? because stardew gives the nostalgia to anyone who played the snes harvest moon kind of educational for people who have 3-5 year old kids
Mate, Stardew Valley is objectively better than this game but nostalgia thing is dumb.Pixel art doesn't have to mean snes, all consoles had pixelart back then and Stardew Valley uses more colors than snes and doesn't suffer from any other limitation of the snes.
This was fun at first but now it's just kinda boring, I know its all about living in the countryside but Hope we can travel other countries tho, seeing the same faces, fighting the same foes, mining stuff, crafting the same thing over and over and over again is really tiring

My lil laptop runs with an i7-7700hq, GTX 1060 6gb, 16 gigs of ram, ran it at 1080p. I mean yeah frames are about what you'd expect... However I ran into intermittent frame stutters? Its a tad bit annoying... I'm inclined to believe the issue lies on the games end.
Well, If you get a stuttering, try to lower the setting... Maybe that will help with the stutter... If it doesn't work, maybe the game isn't well optimized yet and you have to wait for a new update...
There is no mailbox and npcs are not giving any quests. No main quests either. Is there any fix for this? Coundt sell items at shops too as there were no "sell" options. :(
How do you transfer save data over to the new update? My profile folder is pretty much empty (saves & savesbackup). Is there another folder the save data is on or is there something i'm missing?
you can simply replace the old game with new game files, i just tried and that worked but you might want to create a backup file of your original game just to be safe
Ok This is not Work with hotfix3. He have no cracked launchers or something this update. Kopie this update in hotfix 3 Launchers not working and Potia.exe not working. And this is update only not crack include i think i wait for release 1.0 than buy it^^
The Hotfix fixed bugs. Like one where Higgins gained a ton on points and some other ones... Can't recall them cause I didn't update to the version where that was an issue.
See you should be able to play before if you just download from IGG like I said from the start. And no it is not hotfix 3, it is hotfix 1, where did you get the info? I go into game and see that it is hotfix 1, just take a look at "changelist" in game.
Hotfix 1 the last of changes in changelist and the date is hotfix 1, why not check it in game to be sure as you download from mega, I download from google drive before.
bluemediafiles is an interstitial ad link. It loads, you wait, 6 seconds, you click "download now" when it appears, it takes you to the site linked to. If you're not seeing the 6 second countdown or the "download now", you're blocking javascript at that site. Whitelist the site and you should have no further problems.
I download from google drive IGG it's working, but when I add any hotfix from pefelie it not working I think it will need new crack if you add the hotfix. Be sure you don't download any hotfixes outside this site it won't work I tried. Best would be wait for IGG to update this game.

it will carry forward because it saved on your PC not in the game files, unless the files are too old (for a really old version) then it wont work anymore.

Why did you include a "Backup , Backup-1 , Backup-2 and Backup-3" folder? I was shocked because the total size after extracting is 16.9GB, Tho it was compressed-thank god, and I only needed to download a 6.85GB Torrent. Are these Backup Folders really that necessary? If not, Can you please check your files before uploading because I only have a limited Data Connection and it's slow aswell, therefore I needed to wait for a long time before being able to play this game. It's updated to the same version as steam so far right now, but make sure to request an update in the "Game Request" tab at the top of the page when a new version of steam comes out so IGG devs can update it here. Also follow the rules when requesting an update/game so you don't get ban! :)

Excuse me but I tried to find the C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Pathea Games\MyTimeAtPortia but the folder "AppData" doesn't even exist. The only existing data for the games were in my "Downloads" in "D:\Downloads\My.Time.At.Portia.v4.0802\My.Time.At.Portia.v4.0802\My Time At Portia\Portia_Data" as you can see in the screenshot. Which files should I move to the updated version?
The save files are in C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Pathea Games\MyTimeAtPortia and since when is there a folder called "AppData" in the my time at portia folder? The AppData folder is where the my time at portia save file FOLDERS, and the save file is in the folder

This game is like Harvest Moon....but better, and its only in EA. I loved the Harvest Moon series, but there was always something missing from them that made me lose my interest about halfway through the story. I don't anticipate that with this game. It is more workshop oriented than farming and animal oriented and so it kind of blends the grind factor of games like Terraria or Minecraft with Harvest Moon. I am only playing on 4.0.79834 so maybe some things have changed already, but the only knock I have on the game is that most of the "romance" options are the most annoying characters in the game, but I am sure that will get flushed out before too long.
Please post all game requests in the appropriate "game request" section of the site regardless of whether they're requests for game uploads, updates or re-uploads. The site's admin doesn't normally check individual game pages for requests, so it's more likely to be noticed if you post it in the appropriate section of the site.
Graphics aren't what determine the specs. Its all the stuff going on in the backround. Tasks for NPCs, Random number generators, Time of day and weather. Things like that. After playing the game for a bit(And loving it I might add, I just bought it on steam after playing it for a few hours here) I can see why the specs are the way they are. I recommend the game but please understand that its still early access. I haven't experienced any bugs(yet) but sometimes actions take multiple button pushes to recognize(most is 3 so far) and it can get a little clunky at time. I'm not sure if thats an accurate way to describe it. Basically every once in a while for about 2 to 3 seconds it drops in frame rate. Other than that the game is fun and has a ton of potential.
I played this version for 6 hours and haven't experienced a single bug or crash. Worst thing I've seen is sometimes it will take pressing E a second time to leave my workshop and I had 2 cases where it dropped in frame rate for less than 5 seconds. I should mention that my processor runs at 4.2 ghz, I have a 6gb graphics card and 24 gbs of ram. Not sure if you were running with less than that and maybe thats what caused the issues. I dont want to call you a liar but I would look into why its "crash city" for you and not for others. The steam page has quite a few very positive reviews including mine. I just bought it on steam because I can tell I'm going to enjoy it a ton.
Yeah I would look into what else could be causing the issue because that should run it just fine. I have a Radeon card so i suppose its possible that the issue is confined to Nvidia cards? Other thing that comes to mind is the possibility of your processor bottle necking your GPU?
I'm getting a lot of lag with this game. Weird, since I play a few games that are more demanding than this, with no lag at all. Is there any fix for that?
I know someone answered this but I also wanted to provide you with some insight that will help you in the future. Graphics aren't always the main source of demanding performance. Case and point: South Park:TFBW. Even though the graphics are widely considered low grade its still a demanding game. Why? Well it comes down to whats happening in the background. In this case, the world is still living, breathing and doing even when you aren't in view of them. You could be in the ruins and the city is still going about its day; having town meetings, having conversations. Its a very complicated game. Its also always running random number generators for various aspects of the game. How likely is it for Emily to come search for you to invite you to dinner tonight? Things like that. Optimization will help for sure in the future but I just wanted to help you grow and learn something new to give you a better understanding in the future. I see someone else mentioned motion blur. Removing that will help it perform better by leaps and bounds. Thats true is almost all games. I really hope you get to a point where its not lagging and are able to enjoy this game. Its truly a wonderful experience. I hope I was able to help you in some way!
Is it giving an error message of any kind? Do you meet the specs? Did it unzip unsuccessfully maybe? I unzipped mine. Launched the .exe and it worked fine! Hopefully you're able to play soon its a lot of fun!
I had no idea what this was ... watched a trailer and gave it a shot, wow this game is totally great! I highly recommend it. It is cutesy but there is a lot to it, it looks like a studio ghibli anime as the description says. Very good sound effects and lots of things to build. I don't even like to build things. 2018 so far so good year for games!
Don't go for Staxel yet, it's even more unoptimized than MTaP was in it's 2.0 alpha. Laggy UI, massive FPS drops, slow response times, annoying crafting, etc.

Believe it or not the devs do come to IGG and other pirate websites. They use it to get the opinions of people that didn't pay for the game because if you paid for the game you are more likely to make an effort to enjoy it. If you got it for free, well you wont make an effort to enjoy it, so if you do enjoy a game you got for free they take it as a pat on the back. I completely understand its your opinion and I'm glad that you use it freely I wont argue that. All I'm saying is that opinions should be informative and offer some sort of criticism or improvement. Too many people today offer an empty opinion because they feel an urge or impulse to share it. They want to feel relevant or some other reason. Well there first major game was Planet Explorers which is way more complex,but that was a very niche game with a fantastic build anything mechanic to it. So I expect they went this route as a money spinner or more the casual end of the market,if they can pull off a Stardew Valley and make some cash from this,I expect there next game to be very different indeed.
yea, these games are Cute and Simple, and that's why they appeal to devs and people who like the HM games, it's easy to pull off the HM formula. hell that's why there's so many HM games in the first place, the Basic foundations of the game were done with the first few games, they just add small bits and pieces to it and boom new HM game ready to ship out.

Its a lot of fun. Yeah sure it may have gotten its inspiration from harvest moon and stardew valley but thats not a bad thing. Its not just another clone cash grab. It feels real and fun. Lots of secrets to discover and people to meet. If you enjoyed those games I would recommend this one for sure. Keep in mind that its early access so it needs some polish, needs to be optimized in the future and will have more added to it in the future but for now I would say it still has really solid gameplay and doesn't feel broken like some have led to believe. I played 6 hours today with out any crashes. The only "bug" I encountered was I had to push E a second time to leave the workshop a couple of times and my frame rate dropped twice for less than 5 seconds but it wasn't an awful game breaking drop. Just noticeable. I've already purchased it on steam. Even with the 6 hours of gameplay I can tell I'll put in a few tens of hours. Possible breaking the hundred hour mark. $20 well spent. I hope you give it a try for yourself and enjoy it!

But see, that's the point. If you really enjoy Stardew Valley, what does this new game brings to the table? Well ok it's 3D though, with a nice "Ghibli" feeling, like another comment said here. Still, I did play some 3D Harvest Moon games and... I'm not sure that this game will do anything better, besides the nice graphics. See, me, I LOVE roguelikes, for example. But I just tried Rogue Empire and while it's very good, it doesn't do anything we already saw countless times before, like in Dungeonmans or ADOM... I read reviews on Steam and noticed lots of similar reactions. And well, I totally understand these guys. "I hope you find a genre you love one day and that no one says the same thing about it"... I sure understand what you mean. I can never get enough of genres I love, like Metroidvanias, for example. Actually, I do feel bad when I read comments criticizing pixel art, for example. I cant offer much up on MOBA's because its not the specific genre I like. I tried DOTA once because it looked like the old Warcraft games I grew up on. It was not like the old Warcraft games I grew up on haha. Personally, like you, I actually prefer rogue likes. I really enjoy having that permadeath aspect to a game and exploring randomized levels and monsters. It offers a fresh experience(for the most part) every time you play. I also really enjoy these town simulators where there are people to meet, relationships to build and farming to be done! I understand your point about what new could this offer. Well in this case I would say it offers new people to like and dislike, New dungeon mechanics and a fresh feel. I never played Harvest Moon(always wanted to but never had a Nintendo growing up) so idk how they work their dungeons but in this they give you a jet pack and a scanner to look around and find objects. If I had to describe this. It has the building detail of Terraria(there isn't a general workstation that builds everything but a ton of specialized work stations like a cutter, forge, planer grinder and so on. Its a level of detail most skip these days in an effort to make the game easy for people to pick up and play. While i understand that method. I prefer complex and thought provoking. Time management as well. The graphics are cute and offer a huge appeal. I always said while playing Stardew. I wish someone would make a game like this in a nice 3d graphic style. I think this company nailed it. Once you beat stardew, have all the money in the world and everyone in town loves you. There isn't much of a reason to come back. So when I saw this I got excited because it gives me a new game of the genre I enjoy to play. A fresh experience. It wont last, I understand that but I'm still glad to see it. If you have problems with download Google Drive link then just replace ud?id= with file/d/ After that you need to save the file into your GDrive account. I didn't delete anything from the game and the v11.09.2021 didn't came with any installer (just a bunch of files and the launcher. v11.09.2021 works just fine when i launched it but the update wont install.
where would i download the torrent then?
1.) Uninstall the game, if present on your computer
2.) Go into the .iso folder and open the setup.exe folder (You should see PLAZA on top of the setup application
3.) Make sure the "Copy contents of PLAZA directory to installdir" is checked (Important!)
4.) Run the installer as usual
5.) Enjoy. The game should hopefully work now

PS: As a side tip. If you do not want to have a duplicated Yoyo, which is one of the kickbacker DLC pet, make sure to not Keep (accept) one of the two blank letters from the developers in your mailbox. I say blank, because they do not say or show what the reward is. If you accept the box, the little pet will appear in game duplicated and there is no way to get rid of it.
If it annoys you to have your mailbox always showing that you have mail, then you can get an Abandon Tag (got it from mysterious man for about 3500) and give it to the second Yoyo. It will not remove him from game, but he will stop living with you.
I broke my head, I don't understand much, so I hope it helps those who don't understand either, because in read me it is not mentioned.
When you update, go back to the folder and replace the files in the portia data folder where the update is.
So it will work it replaces every time I updated, but I think it can be replaced only by the last update, so it will run smooth!
Am currently playing for 88+ hours now.

Edit: Apparently the updates I downloaded using torrents where the problem. The updates here were no problem at all to install, everything was a success.

how to fix it?
You just need download ALL updates(3 of them) and update them respectively.
Even you mess up the order(like me due to confused with 6 digit number of version) or try to update only last version the update will not let you do so.
And for those who have game older than version 2.0. I don't think last 3 patch gonna works. Just download game version 2.0 and ALL update, and update them respectively.

Run with administrator did not work, too
Try install not to install it on your system storage (C;) and try to start the game with As Administrator.
Go in the CODEX folder and copy (Portia_Data) to directory of game installation.
Do the same after you installing the UPDATE.
OBS:If it doesn't work, try to start the game as ADMINISTRATOR.

Do you have enough space in HDD or the required amount of RAM?
Usually, when we're installing a game, the amount of required space in the HDD ends up being a little bit larger than the space required to store the game after installation.
Almost the same happens with RAM in a process of "decompression for installation".
Check it, pls.
PS: It might isn't your problem. If it isn't, try sending more pictures/screenshots from your TASK MANAGER during installation.

And yes, I do get bird sounds near trees, crickets during the night, wind, etc. They didn't really add a lot of ambient sounds in this update (they even broke some), and steam users are complaining about it. So no, it's not the crack. It's the game. :>
Ran around with no music for awhile and I got nothing.

after i defeat everglade/ursula i get stuck on the room that lies ahead , the camera goes on circle and i see my char on map going outside of the room to nowhere.

I suggest you download these updates threw megadrive if you can, cause apparently people are having trouble downloading it through googledrive. Also once you've downloaded them all, extract them and you have to install each update in order like i just showed you. 1 is update: V1.0.128791, number 2 is update: v1.0.128955, finally number 3 is well you can see lol. Anyway i hope this helps you out, if the updates do not really work than it may be the files this person uploaded them up.

Ok, here we are again. In this patch, we fixed the nasty crash when ordering menu while dating. Meanwhile, we fixed several bugs that will affect the gameplay experience of you guys. :)
So here is the detail of today's changelist.
Changelist:
Added cutscenes for the acupuncture.
Increased the maximum camera sensitivity value.
Increased the quality of the gifts for the Day of Bright Sun.
Fixed abnormal behavior for some NPCs.
Fixed the crash of ordering menu during dating.
Fixed some text errors.
Fixed the bug that the dating/player partner will not follow the player after sparring with other NPCs.
Fixed the bug of NPC's path finding.
Added the save for the market price.
Fixed the bug that several items cannot be sold to the store (including the venom).
Added the level options when entering the hazardous dungeon.
Removed the stamina consumption when waving the fist but hit on nothing.

The site's admin doesn't normally check individual game pages for requests, so it's more likely to be noticed if you post it in the appropriate section of the site.
I recommend the game but please understand that its still early access. I haven't experienced any bugs(yet) but sometimes actions take multiple button pushes to recognize(most is 3 so far) and it can get a little clunky at time. I'm not sure if thats an accurate way to describe it. Basically every once in a while for about 2 to 3 seconds it drops in frame rate. Other than that the game is fun and has a ton of potential.

Its a very complicated game. Its also always running random number generators for various aspects of the game. How likely is it for Emily to come search for you to invite you to dinner tonight? Things like that. Optimization will help for sure in the future but I just wanted to help you grow and learn something new to give you a better understanding in the future.
I see someone else mentioned motion blur. Removing that will help it perform better by leaps and bounds. Thats true is almost all games. I really hope you get to a point where its not lagging and are able to enjoy this game. Its truly a wonderful experience. I hope I was able to help you in some way!
It's an early access game so it's still vastly unoptimized.
Hopefully future versions will be less demanding.

I completely understand its your opinion and I'm glad that you use it freely I wont argue that. All I'm saying is that opinions should be informative and offer some sort of criticism or improvement. Too many people today offer an empty opinion because they feel an urge or impulse to share it. They want to feel relevant or some other reason. I'm just saying when you offer an opinion it should also provide a benefit. Merely saying "there are too many of this type" doesn't offer much help to an up and coming developer because as myself they see that and go: "okay... what do you want to see then?" What if we changed that statement to "There are too many of this type. I wish someone would make a computer builder simulator game"(I realize that would be silly but jeez look at how popular bread simulator got haha) It becomes a helpful and informative statement that now gives me an idea for a game that will reach your market. Sure you might still have a negative impact on others preference of this game but you are also opening a new possibility for others. See what I'm saying? I appreciate you being able to have a conversation and not lose it like some would.

So I expect they went this route as a money spinner or more the casual end of the market,if they can pull off a Stardew Valley and make some cash from this,I expect there next game to be very different indeed.

I played 6 hours today with out any crashes. The only "bug" I encountered was I had to push E a second time to leave the workshop a couple of times and my frame rate dropped twice for less than 5 seconds but it wasn't an awful game breaking drop. Just noticeable. I've already purchased it on steam. Even with the 6 hours of gameplay I can tell I'll put in a few tens of hours. Possible breaking the hundred hour mark. $20 well spent. I hope you give it a try for yourself and enjoy it!

If you really enjoy Stardew Valley, what does this new game brings to the table? Well ok it's 3D though, with a nice "Ghibli" feeling, like another comment said here.
Still, I did play some 3D Harvest Moon games and... I'm not sure that this game will do anything better, besides the nice graphics.
See, me, I LOVE roguelikes, for example.
But I just tried Rogue Empire and while it's very good, it doesn't do anything we already saw countless times before, like in Dungeonmans or ADOM... I read reviews on Steam and noticed lots of similar reactions. And well, I totally understand these guys.

Another guy on IGG told me recently that maybe indie developers have reached a "limit" or something, and at some point, they just repeat themselves.
Or maybe we're just old now and we feel like we've seen everything. lol
On a side note though, I did test this game but unfortunately at this point, it's so unoptimized it made my GPU fan very noisy to a point that it became annoying and even worrying.
So I'll wait for future updates and see how it evolves, I think.

I understand your point about what new could this offer. Well in this case I would say it offers new people to like and dislike, New dungeon mechanics and a fresh feel. I never played Harvest Moon(always wanted to but never had a Nintendo growing up) so idk how they work their dungeons but in this they give you a jet pack and a scanner to look around and find objects.
If I had to describe this. It has the building detail of Terraria(there isn't a general workstation that builds everything but a ton of specialized work stations like a cutter, forge, planer grinder and so on. Its a level of detail most skip these days in an effort to make the game easy for people to pick up and play. While i understand that method. I prefer complex and thought provoking. Time management as well. The graphics are cute and offer a huge appeal. I always said while playing Stardew. I wish someone would make a game like this in a nice 3d graphic style. I think this company nailed it.
Once you beat stardew, have all the money in the world and everyone in town loves you. There isn't much of a reason to come back. So when I saw this I got excited because it gives me a new game of the genre I enjoy to play. A fresh experience. It wont last, I understand that but I'm still glad to see it. I appreciate you have a conversation with me instead of ignoring it or even worse blowing up and being rude. I enjoyed speaking with you and hope they keep making pixel graphiced games as well as rogue likes!
