When i open the game with Staxel.client, i have a "not logged" message when i want to launch a new world.. I tried to open the game with Staxel.SteamLauncher and it doesnt work.. There is a error message and the game never open

I'm on windows 10. When i try to open staxel client.exe nothing happens, no errors messages, no game, nothing. I've tried to install xna but as I implied I'm on windows 10. Can somone give me a light?

Use the application called staxel.modmanager in the bin folder, drag mod file into the window. Then right click on file and install, if you don't completely understand just ask.I haven't fully tested but I believe this is the way as I have already installed a few mods.

have you open the port on ruter if not it will not work or hamanchi it will be work but i recomment ngrok to host a server and open a port its safe :D and its only work on tcp server (staxel is a tcp server only) :P
1 redownload staxel with the same link because the game is fixed now
2 (opt.) dowload "namechanger.exe" (scroll down) and put it in your game folder (with the .dat file) to rename your character (press the "random id" button to dont get any problems

Do you try you and your friends to play solo first? (good technique for see if you have the game operational to join a map and if you cant play solo its maybe you do something wrong or your antivirus or something else is blocking your game)

you cant join public servers 'cause they cant allowed cracked version on they servers. You can only join private servers with your friends (scroll down for read my little tutorial to do it)
Your "port test" has to be available and in your picture he isn't you can retry by press test port again if its not working change Staxel permission in your windows firewall and/or disable your antivirus
but thats didnt work for me ....I run steam client -->run namechanger.exe-->random id and write name --->click save--->close steam--->then the game works now
You have to move the the tool either to ..\Staxel\Staxel\ (where the ".dat" file should be located or move the file ".dat" which will be generated and placed in the same folder the tool is in.
There's a folder named _CommonRedist, you will see a bunch of folders in that try to install the one under XNA. I think that should do it if not then try installing the other things in the other folders as well.
Everything works fine but then again when you play multiplayer and finally decided to quit and save everything, the inventory and look of whoever lastly logouts will be remembered as everyone's inventory and look as well. Probably this is the case of the server registering everyone with the same name (CODEX). We tried changing the name on steam_ini but the name is still stuck on CODEX so we decided to stop playing for awhile cause it's no use if we will still end up having the same inventory after a session.
Make sure you're using the Staxel.FIXED version and make sure that, if you changed your name from Codex, that your name is 5 characters long. A name that is shorter or longer will fail with that error.

(All steps are important do not skip any of them) : 1 - Launch StaxelServerWizard.exe 2 - UNselect "public" opt. - write a password if you want 3 - select "Allow unauthentificated players" 4 - select "Attemps automatic UPnP" 5 - click "test port" 6 - click "start" and "start game client" 7 - connect with "localhost" (yes...only write "localhost") and your password EDIT 27/01/2018 2am: 8 - copy "your external server adress" (like "88.177.51.196") 9 - give to your friends your external server adress (and your Staxel server password) EDIT 27/01/2018 3:06pm: If you want to keep your same world after reconnecting, I THINK you have to write "local" in "storage name : (defaults to Server Name)" because this method worked for me. They just have to enter you external server adress (and your Staxel server password) in game to connect ;) If you have any questions I will be glad to help you ;)
before play online pls check (you and your friends) if you dont have any problems with the soloplayer mod because I've got problems with the "namechanger.exe" (fixed by put a name and click on "random id") and my friends got problem with his antivirus (fixed by simply desactivated it)
I did manage to find the external address (the one on the server wizard, right?), but as I tried to join it myself that popped up? I want to make this work without having to port forward and just use hamachi.

Yes Bloxcast Jason is right (sorry bad english from Françe) you connot join any PUBLIC online servers if they dont allow unauthenticated players... and bad news: I think its impossible right now to create PUBLIC server with serverWizard.exe and allow unauthentificated players...you can only join PRIVATE server with your friends...

also i ve tried to change codex in all config files and C:\Users%username%\AppData\Roaming\Steam (theres a codex folder there) with no luck,i think the name is hard coded in teh steam api dll
if i host multiplayer sever the npc dont get stuck and loads in less than 1 minute
also @RaiNote posted a guide to change name
TO GET ADMIN ACESS you need to change the name in the local configs too
search for the files in
right.config
and edit them with notepad
File name: 'SlimDX.dll'

Changed it at steam_emu as in every game but here it didn't work.

Thought this game wasn't going to get a fix or crack since it is nothing but a indie game
Cube world use the same graphics and weight less than 200Mb.
When i launch Staxel.client.exe i have a error message:
