Im haveing an issue, after I beat the guard door boss and go in the vulcosuits chamber. When the screen become all white it freeze then the game crashes.
I'm having the same issues , only Esc works and only using space for selecting "no" from "quit game?" since i can't click or use any other keys to move scroll left, right, up or down.
keyboard works fine(asdw), be sure to unplug controller before you launch the game. I believe crack version is the only one having this problem, steam version seems to be fine I believe, the people that are complaining about it not working on steam don't own the game.

On a fresh install of the game, I can use my gamepad to play. When I try to run the game next session, the problem of keyboard/controller appears. This is the worst ported game I came across.
Rename the d from extension ending and also keep your MS Defender (antivirus) off.
open the zip, open "files", paste and replace the content of "files" inside of your game directory.
Enable back your antivirus (You can add the game folder to exception if it deletes the extracted files thinking its threat)
Bravo! now you should be able to save your progress.

You have the game installed in a folder that doesn't allow modifications, probably somewhere like program Files. just install it to your drive in a folder called games and it should work fine. Make sure the game runs as admin, also, or it may not save, which causes a UAC prompt to appear when starting the game. Also, only install it to an internal hard drive. An External drive is highly likely to NOT work.
The game seems to only support X360 controllers. With the actual Steam version, you can use Steam itself to emulate the X360 controller with any controller. This would require buying it on Steam, though. I would rather just buy a console version to not have to worry about the awful keyboard controls or a controller not working.
Idk if anyone else is having this issue, but I was able to get the keyboard working at the config menu, but once I actually get into the game, the WASD keys only work for movement and do literally nothing in menus (whether they be battle menus or not), so I can't even access the config menu for when I gain control and can get into the menu with J. Anyone have any ideas on how to get past this or does this game just not work with my PC? I swear this PC port is one of the worst I've ever seen, and I'm usually pretty lenient about ports, which is saying something.
Try a PS3 controller. I'm using one and have no issues playing the game. Left-stick moves the characters and the right-stick changes the target in battle (just like how it works when I played the demo on PS4).
By default, the PS4 input will be set to the directional arrows on the keyboard. That is probably why they don't work with this game. On an X360 controller, that would be the left analog stick, which is why it works on X360 controllers, but not PS4 controllers, without remapping the d-pad for the PS4 to WASD..
Just a quick FYI, the game is working when you first start it and get to its initial config screen. You can only use WASD to navigate that menu (which is a horrible way to have to navigate a menu), and SPACEBAT to confirm. Once you get into the game, it will show controls on the bottom right that are possible and you can access the menu and change the controls form there. The only keys that you are able to set for use are SPACEBAR, A-Z and 0-9. You can't set special symbols or other special keys like ENTER, DELETE, etc. or the arrow keys.
Ja ich weiß. Nur das der Prolog (Traum) auf englisch ist, und erst sobald man kanata steuern kann, ins Menü gelangt wo unten optionen steht und nur dort kann man dann die Sprache einstellen. Was ziemlich dumm ist da wie gesagt das Hauptmenü und der 5 minütige Prolog auf englisch ist da dieser nicht einzustellen geht, da das optionsmenü wie gesagt erst auftaucht wenn man Kanata spielt, also danach. Sehr sinnfrei ^^

Can't make it past the initial config screen. Keyboard, mouse, gamepad, none of these work. Only thing I can do is press escape to bring up the "quit game?" prompt and space to select "no" as it is the default option. Haven't found any other keys that work...
The keyboard is garbage for this game. By default, space is the confirm button, wasd is the directions, and the other keys are all over the place. They only allow setting spacebar, A/Z and 0-9, also, which prevents people from using the actual arrow keys for movement and/or menu navigation. A controller would be much better to use.
was able to figure out how to get the keyboard to work. Had to unplug all other "controller like" peripherals I had a razor orb weaver plugged in and for whatever reason that was preventing the keyboard from working. Try unplugging any other gamepad or keyboard like peripheral that you may be using.
Thanks a lot . Strange that CODEX still didn't release yet the final version of Subnautica . Many cracked Denuvo games never got update ( resident evil 7 new dlc , Tekken 7 new dlc , today seems to be Total War Warhammer wich got a update + new dlc ) . Strange since thos titles use older denuvo versions. Seems that Assassins Creed Origins also got a new dlc today , that is why maybe CPY didn't decide to release it yet , they was maybe waited that new version to crack and release the game in the next days who knows .
Wow, really shocked this one doesn't have Denuvo in it. I might just end up buying this one once I have the money for it. Show my support of leaving Denuvo out of this title.
