You're wrong! For the games that do not work with Steam Vr, for the Virtual Desktop, you must right click on the icon at the bottom right of Windows of Virtual Desktop Steamer, then "Launch game" and finally select the .exe from the Game.
There is no bottom on the bottom right of Virtual Desktop and this does not work as you do not have that option either, only "PLay". The exe does not work.

I didn't know that I could launch the games via Virtual Desktop, so I'm going to be able to launch a bunch of games that I didn't can, thank you very much.
So if anyone is having issues using this with virtual desktop I figured it out. Open VD and connect to your pc. Then Right click on the VD icon in your system tray and click launch game. This will open file explorer. Just direct to the EXE of lone echo and it will open and work perfectly.
hey, I'm trying to do this on an index. I tried to follow some of the comments but they didn't work. so if anyone has an updated explanation on how to fix it in great detail. In gifs and no spelling or grammar error! I would be really happy.
Get Revive to emulate an oculus device, also get the oculus software. Get the Lone Echo demo and replace the files with the cracked game but do rename the cracked game EXE to the one from the demo. If you use oculus it will launch the Cracked.EXE because you named it like the demo would be. got this working right away on Rift S ..really surprised after hearing about having to use revive and such !.couldnt find an exe file but clicked on the bat file and it loaded no problem
R3TR0 and 10jasper10 made some fucking inane points, just download revive and drag the game exe onto the revive shit with the black icon, it should just run in steam vr. if that doesnt work download some free game from oculus and run that in steam vr, like open steam vr, hit the new tab called revive, and run a game. should let you do that after that or fucking whatever. i tried both ways and both failed, kinda gay but hey, it worked.

Hey there. Once you've downloaded all the lone echo files, You'll wanna download Echo VR On the oculus store. Then go to the oculus store and click on the 3 dots next to it. go to the directory where it is installed. In the lone echo files you've downloaded you should see a file named ready-at-dawn-lone-echo. Move that into the software folder which echo vr (named ready-at-dawn-echo-arena) is in. Then move from the files you downloaded sourcedb, bin and _data into ready-at-dawn-lone-echo and copy _local and _temp from ready-at-dawn-echo-arena and move it into ready-at-dawn-lone-echo Finally go to the oculus store, click to add an app. and navigate back to that folder, into ready-at-dawn-lone_echo/bin/win7 and choose the LoneEcho.exe Then just run it from the oculus library and enjoy :) Sorry the reply took long. If you're trying to play this using SteamVR in 2020, hear me out. It does work but its more complicated. Get Revive and Oculus. Install Echo Arena on Oculus. Then open Echo Arena's install folder, under Oculus>Software>... etc Make a folder called backup and put that stuff in there. Then dump your Lone Echo in there. Then go to ready-at-dawn-echo-arena\bin\win7 and rename the exe to echovr.exe Launch the game like any other oculus game, via revive. Only you click on echo arena.
I think you can do the same with the Demo for Lone Echo 2, you'll probably not gonna watch that twice anyways. Just make sure to rename the EXE to the Lone Echo 2's EXE name. This way you can play both Lone and Arena without a hassle :D
Not sure what you mean, if you're using a quest you can use various ways of playing without cable. Instead of overwriting Echo Arena you should download the Lone Echo 2 demo and then make a note of the name the game uses to launch. Then do the same as you did to overwrite Echo Arena but correct the exe name to be inline with the original Lone Echo 2 demo exe name.
No, you can do it with Revive (you need to download it and have a working Oculus account, as well as link your Revive software with your Oculus account). Once you have Revive working (test it with some of the free experiences), you need to start steamvr and right-click on the desktop revive icon and select "inject". This should open a file browser and you can selecet the game's exe with that. If your hands are "stuck" in place, you need to exit the game, close Revive WITHOUT closing SteamVR and restart Revive through a desktop icon and try again. I just played with an Index. It works well.
move it into the echo arena folder once you've installed that free game. Then move the cracked game in there and rename the exe to be the same as the echo arena one >echovr.exe Launch Echo Arena via the revive library. Should launch Lone Echo.
Someone please explain how to install this, theres no Patch and Revive Injector doesn't work. I get the same error "Failed to initialize Oculus VR session. Please make sure that you have the latest Oculus Runtime, and that your headset is properly connected to your PC."
Oculus software needs to be running alongside Revive for it to work. Try it again. Try one of the Oculus experiences to see if Revive works properly first. I have an Index and just played through Revive.
I have htc Vive and It doesn't work too. Exactly this version of the game, because i was able to run another version perfectly and pass it completely. You can use official revive version 1.1.18, and run it through function Inject, and it will be run. But after main menu you will see infinity loading.

It should work with oculus link lol. I thought it wont but its just that oculus link didnt worked at all. Just the cable is annoying af for me. But most games here works just fine with alvr. just the oculus first party games dont °∆°

Just to make that assumption is flawed, they do have the same files, however they do NOT have the same data, sooner or later you will run into glitches, bugs, even missing maps.
Could never get this to work, For whatever reason when trying to extract the files it fails on 10+ files says an error occured trying to extract. Several files are corrupted.
Its working on my Oculus Rift S. The audio isnt audible on my external headphones but the default Oculus audio works. Also getting random lag for some minutes. Not sure if that has anything to do with the copy but ive got a beast pc so.

Is the file size less than 5 MB? Did you get the file directly, or have you used an exe? If the answer to any of the questions is yes, you downloaded an ad. Please try downloading the files again and make sure you get the correct ones.
I've downloaded two different versions so far. All of them run just fine, but I'm not seeing any save folders? The game does not appear to save at all - I'm only ever given the option to start a new game no matter how far I've gotten. How can I get this to save?
Managed to fix this. Moved the game's files into the Oculus software directory, where it would have been had it been an official copy. Made a save folder and copied the contents of a save file I found online into it. Loaded that save and it's been auto-saving to it ever since.
Can someone please try to help me? I am using the Vive (with ReVive) and when I open the .exe file, it says that it failed to initialize the Oculus VR session. I don't know what to do. I extracted the files and did everything right.
Hi Everyone, Help needed here... With revive and the HTC vive, the game menu launch but that's pretty much it. I cant do anything in the menu except waching my both hands. I try desesperatly to activate the single player button but not any of the vive contoller buttons seems to have any effect on the game. So I am stuck in the menu and can't go through. Has anyone any Idea at all? Thanks you guys for your help!!!

Usually with files downloaded in parts, all you need to do is make a new folder and drag all of the part-zip files into it. Then you extract only the very first file, and the rest will automatically unpack behind the scenes. Then you can open the resulting file and mount the iso / run the start up.
The problem Hendrik Renz was having was that he was using an HTC Vive for an Oculus exclusive. Are you attempting the same thing? If so, the program "ReVive" should help you. Getting the exe from somebody else won't change anything.
I already have revive and thx to you played many vr games by that. But this perticular one gaving me trouble and I can't see the exe icon and it seems like an antivirus issue as far as revive github concerned. so instead of downloading all again I just demanded 1 single file who already downloaded and didnt removed original rar.
Thanks, but I actually already found the answer, basically for any of those people having problems with it starting and then instantly crashing, just move the game directory to the root folder of a drive (other locations may work, but I used this). When it was extracted to a bunch of sub folders, it instantly crashed. When directly on root, it ran perfectly.

Apparently you need something called "ReVive". I'm not really sure how it works since I don't own a vive, but I'm sure you can search it up and find some instructions.
When injecting from revive, i get a white window open up and crash. when launching the lone echo executable, it doesn't recognize my vive headset. i have attempted using the patch function, updated video drivers....what else has worked for everyone?
click on that file, go to bin on the file, then win7 and find lone echo btw you may need revive (link:https://github.com/LibreVR/Revive) (this is how to use revive)
Install Oculus Home and skip the first-time setup.
Download the latest Revive installer.
Install Revive in your preferred directory.
Start SteamVR if it's not already running.
Put on the headset, open the dashboard and click the new Revive tab.
I think you might be wrong... I don't know what crack you used, but I just finished the game until the credits. Unless you talk about something that happens after them - the crack is perfect :)
Solution: Put in Spanish in in game menu. Now text are in Spanish but speak in english. Close game and restart it. Now both of them in Spanish. Only latin Spanish for me.
having trouble actually starting the new single player game. The file launches fine but it crashes when loading a new single player game. Im just double clicking on the exe file. Am i missing something?
Audio in french for me but regular crash. Can not go beyond the tutorial without crashes. I tested yesterday in audio english, I played 10 min without crashes. To retest tonight.
yesterday download chronos from this page, but when I run it on an oculus it tells me that I do not have rights. Does anyone know how I can run the game?
Copy the injector files from the bypass directory to.. C:\Oculus Games\Chronos v1.2 VR\Oculus\Software\Software\gunfire-games-llc-chronos\Chronos\Binaries\Win64 Or wherever you've put it. Then drag the chronos.exe onto the injector in that directory. Worked for me.
Question for you, games like these downloaded are you able to import them to steam as a non-steam game and launch through steam VR or steam home? or do you have to launch it manually from your PC then put HMD on.
