As the sole developer of ClickRaid being made aware of this i'd like to remind all you pirates that the only servers you'll see are games of others that downloaded the game from here. So it will at least give you an idea of how the game is(much better in a full group). If you enjoy it please pick up a copy on steam for 4.99.

I agree that developers should indeed be supported. But, this is steam we're talking about. I don't really support the idea of "renting" a game from steam. Basically, the reason why I wont get an account is because every game we buy belongs to steam and steam forces users to stay logged in through their client. They also don't like people sharing their games. For instance, there's a lot of games that I really loved and enjoyed so I bought hundreds of pc cd's of games I really liked. To me, I own those discs and no company is going to say "hey, we're shutting down, so give back our discs". But yet if steam shuts down, then everyone loses out completely. I know steam wont shut down because they are monopolizing over the game industry. But, it's the principle of people wanting to be able to own their own games without being forced to keep it on one computer. Back in the day, I could bring my games to my friends house and play and vice versa. Nowadays, steam says "you want to share your game, or let them play, then let me see their license". What the heck!? license!? This ain't driver's ed! Well, sorry, for being humorous about it all. I will indeed keep up with your work and see how you're doing with things. I agree wholeheartedly to support developers. Find me a way to support them without steam and I'll do what it takes. Other companies like steam are no different. GOG i'm a big fan of. I'd support them any day! You guys made a great looking game, just like the guys that created pixel piracy. 2 amazing developers that I wouldn't mind backing. Anyways, who knows, maybe one day we'll team up or do something big. Anyways, I'm glad you came to visit. It's not every day we get a developer from steam here that puts on a good speech like that.

Ah yea I can understand the reasoning behind avoiding steam. But honestly from my perspective if steam didn't exist i really wouldn't be able to reach a large audience and this makes it really easy to distribute my game. Wish I could help guys like you but keeping a build hosted anywhere but steam and keeping it updated would be difficult. Thanks for the reply :)

Ah np! Well, that is definitely true. You gotta do what you gotta do. At the same time, you can also create a website with products distributed by you as well as having them on steam. I guess you can kill 2 birds with one stone. If you have a way for me to contact you (not on steam) then please let me know. Even email would be nice. I can probably find the best budget and save you guys lots of money that way. I always look for deals and stuff, even for designing websites. I have pretty big self encyclopedia on software and ways to save money with not having to spend much. Also, web hosting is easy. I can get you free hosting through google, but you probably know about that already. Starting off with cheap to free sites is a great way to get your product out there, then when you start raking in cash, start investing on higher ended advertising which should double your profit or even triple from basic advertising to higher ended advertising. :)
