To people who have general protection fault problem. Just download Physxcudart_20.dll from internet then paste it in your game folder. I just download this game today and have found similar problem but now i can play it after download this file i mention.
Its do solve me, before i just follow what other told in this section by copy cudart.dll then rename it Physxcudart_20.dll but it wont work so in the next day i just dowload this file from internet and its solve.

First asking people to jump off the cliff and asking them to download specific file to solve there error problem on pc is two different thing. I tried every fix or methods given on the internet, editing the steam_emu.ini offline=0, physxcuda20, downloading all redistributales of c++, installing directx, installed all stuffs in the redist, NOTHING WORKS FOR ME. I still get "Borderlands Game of the Year Enhanced stopped working" Then after crashing the splash art the General protection Fault error thing will pop up. Can anyone help me? On my laptop the game works just fine OS is win10 8gb ram intel i5. On the other device i tried installing and having the problems it is i5 but lower gen and same 8gb ram.
I just download it today and have similar problem like yours "protection fault problem" after doing some research you need to download "Physxcudart_20.dll from internet although many people told you to copy cudart.dll from binary then rename it to physxcudart_20.dll which still giving me a protection fault problem. So basicly i just download Physxcudart_20.dll from internet then paste it into game folder. After that i can play it without problem.
I installed one in my laptop, drag & drop the crack files and it worked. i extracted everything to the same folder, it replaced a bunch of stuff, i got a bunch of errors and upon clicking the "disc image file" it said that it is corrupted, so i am stuck

when i said do not save once you use the keys you simply EXIT the game entirely back to desktop or main menu which ever doesnt save the game. your new guns will be there when you return i promise as well as all the keys in the profile i shared from mega

So for those having troubles playing the game offline, and getting that stupid error. I made tweaks of the crack files that enables it to work fine. you have to apply the crack... this has been addressed many times on many games, if you'd like a step by step watch the video provided on this website.
literally just said to watch the video on the site OwO long story short, you find the crack files that should be extracted with the game or wherever you saved it at, then proceed to cut/copy the files in it- Steam_api or something similar to that if I recall, usually 3 files, and then you paste them over the ones that are actually in the game's folder.
For those who experiencing error like General Protection Fault,here's some tips:
Install with just short folder name,mine just "Bgotye".
Inside installed game,theres folder named CommonRedist.You have to installed everything.When vcredist failed to install,just remove designated version and version above it,that should do it.
Download PhysX system from official nVidia sites and then install it.With the PhysX System software already installed,extract that installer (i'm using 7zip) and then browse to PhysX > files > http://common.you need to copy a.PhysXLoader64.dll to game folder/binaries/win64. b.PhysXLoader.dll to game folder/binaries/win64/physxlocal.
This game NEED internet connection,you should allow it or had it.
For the giggles,this game DOES work with previous Borderlands 2008 saves.Just rename your previous Player.wsg to profile.bin and place it in /documents/my games/[your game folder]/binaries/savedata.When the game start,just select it.

i fond this : I know this is old now but I recently re-installed Borderlands on my PC and came up with the same error. Although the game continues to run after the error, it is annoying to have to keep closing that error whenever I start the game. I looked online for solutions and most told me to download and copy the DLL from various places. I tried this and it failed to work. Others say to re-install PhysX which you should not have to do as it is included in the NVIDIA drivers! I decided to see if I could solve the issue myself, applying my own technical know-how to the problem. I am happy to say I have solved the problem very simply :) In the NVIDIA installation there is a DLL file called "PhysXLoader.dll" contained in "C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\PhysX\Common". You need to copy that file replacing the existing one in the PhysXLocal folder within the Binaries folder of the Borderlands installation. E.G. "C:\Program Files (x86)\2K Games\Gearbox Software\Borderlands\Binaries\PhysXLocal" or if using Steam "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Borderlands\Binaries\PhysXLocal" Once you have replaced that file, run Borderlands as normal, you should not see the error :)

open the steam_emu.ini file and change language= to your language, after that look at the games language folders, and move whatever the original games language was out of the games files, then start the game. for example the other user i helped game was in spanish so he had to remove the es-ES folder
Or check the box at the installation window to copy crack in installation folder or go to the folder where crack is and copy the files there to your installation DIR (folder).
is it not going in full screen or when you do so your mouse cursor dissapears ? if so then go to mouse settings on desktop and turn off shadows and mouse trails worked for me
why used modded weapons, you aren't strong enought with gold chest ? and for answer to the question, not yet but You can create items using WT on a character from the old gen versions, import them to the new version and then drop them to the desired character.
I don't use modded gear, I just use fully optimized legal gear. I did actually play through BL1 legit on my first run, and while I know that farming is not a headache in BL1, I want to play the remastered game from scratch, with my preferred loadouts fully optimized. Not necessarily all legendary/unique gear from the start, I'll start with greens and work my way up as the higher rarities start spawning, and switch to uniques as they become officially available. Basically, I will use WT along the way to level up the same weapons, so that I do not have to farm, and with the exception of legendaries, I can sell all the junk loot. I'm not in too much of a rush to play the remaster, so I'll just wait for WT to be updated.

That was fast, they updated in less than a week. I wish they included timestamps for version history, but oh well. According to the release note, this version cannot reliably convert from console to PC or vice-versa. But that's not an issue for me :) .
after downloading the installer (or part one under mageup), and installing the game, im left with i a file i cant do anything with due to not having "a program associated with it for preforming this action this action" and when i open the file in winrar every file is password restricted. i assume ive downloaded it wron, help?
if its an ad download it will have the same name, the important part is that its 5Gb, and also you need to download all 3 parts before extraction as they all extract together with part 1

1)use the google drive work around option, click on the part 1 link url, (make sure you';re signed into google account) then add it to your google drive account (google drive icon top right with the + sign, go into your google drive account, check the files, then right click the part1 file in the google drive and choose make copy, then you'll be able to download the copy version on your drive and not the linked on. 2) If you get an message exceeded downloads etc, change the UC prior to ? for the word OPEN (in lower case) and then Repeat the same procedure in section 1) for the remaining parts, remember to repeat section 2 if the exceeded bandwidth, then return to section 1.
Well Jean says it was too easy so there are two ways that come to mind immediately: 1. In the early days of BL2 you could simply edit a file in your My Games/BL2 Folder that held the value for the key's but that has been fazed out with Shift I think. 2. Cheat Engine, if you dont know how it works I cant help because there are far better teachers then me but theres lots of good tutorials. What you'd need to do is find the memory cell that holds the value for the keys while the game is running but that requires the value to change so you may need a friend with an original copy who can scan for the value, while adding official keys. Ill look into it. But I think the Gold Chest ruins the Game anyway
yes another user informed me of this, however i have yet to find a way to allow the use of gold keys in this offline version, so if you know any way to obtain them you should help the other users
im an adult so i dont have all the free time in the world to play these 100 hour games, but after a quick google search the keys are gained threw gearbox's SHiFT client, which requires online connection so i doubt there is a way to get keys as even the cheat trainers for these games cant modify that value, if your that upset have your parents buy the game

When I played this game in 2010 there where no gold keys so my assumption was they weren't there and I was wrong. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't Steam refunds from their 2 hour refund policy issued as Steam store credit? If so, that's one very good reason to download a pirate copy to use as a demo instead; not everyone wants to give up real universally accepted cash to try a game only to find out it's not for them and be stuck with Steam only credit.

One of the additions to the remastered version is 4 player split screen so offline coop is in it and you can also play online coop with himachi as it doesn't rely only on deticated servers.
Normally, I'd agree with you but the character customization is so rudimentary, it's not really a big deal. Now Borderlands 2, on the other hand, I actually liked third person view in that one.
if you want a third person view find a mod I think some fan made it but not sure if it works with this version...but last time I tested it was very buggy like your accuracy suddenly cant hit the enemy properly unless you scope them

Recomend Graphics: Geforce GTX 760, this card is old lfmao. This is the old Game, what you r looking is maybe called " Borderlands.The.Pre.Sequel.Complete.Edition.MULTi8-PROPHET " which is from 2015.
That's a completely different game, this was just remastered with an HD texture pack and released today, also with updates to the other 2 games like the pre sequel.
not all games have a high graphics card requirement, this game was made in 2009 so yeah old graphics card is required, this is the enhanced edition recently released, im looking at the correct game perhaps you should look again :P also already did a scan and test and everything is fine, and btw borderlands 2 / pre-sequel have also been updated to there HD remastered versions
Mount the ISO, launch it and install the game, nothing special.
When the game is installed, go explore the ISO and copy what's inside the prophet folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\2K Games\Borderlands - Game of The Year Edition\Binaries or where you installed the game basically (you may have to put the BInaries folder as exception first on your antivirus because the steam_api.dll may be recognized as a threat).
There is a folder in the iso named PROPHET the files in there you copy them and paste they in to the folder in that borderlands is installed and finished you can play :D

Also I don't recommend running the game online, it has some kind of tracker working going on according to virustotal #
I didn't do anymore work to remove those false-positive or anysort of virus/tracker problems, I only solved the online error, Hence i also came to a conclusion that there's some kind of tracker.

long story short, you find the crack files that should be extracted with the game or wherever you saved it at, then proceed to cut/copy the files in it- Steam_api or something similar to that if I recall, usually 3 files, and then you paste them over the ones that are actually in the game's folder.
a.PhysXLoader64.dll to game folder/binaries/win64.
b.PhysXLoader.dll to game folder/binaries/win64/physxlocal.
Any idea about the "No Disk" error?
I know this is old now but I recently re-installed Borderlands on my PC and came up with the same error. Although the game continues to run after the error, it is annoying to have to keep closing that error whenever I start the game.
I looked online for solutions and most told me to download and copy the DLL from various places. I tried this and it failed to work. Others say to re-install PhysX which you should not have to do as it is included in the NVIDIA drivers!
I decided to see if I could solve the issue myself, applying my own technical know-how to the problem. I am happy to say I have solved the problem very simply :)
In the NVIDIA installation there is a DLL file called "PhysXLoader.dll" contained in "C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\PhysX\Common". You need to copy that file replacing the existing one in the PhysXLocal folder within the Binaries folder of the Borderlands installation.
E.G.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\2K Games\Gearbox Software\Borderlands\Binaries\PhysXLocal"
or if using Steam
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Borderlands\Binaries\PhysXLocal"
Once you have replaced that file, run Borderlands as normal, you should not see the error :)
try to update directx and vcredist there : Borderlands Game of the Year Enhanced_CommonRedist

This should be it. I have no idea if it still works or not, but when i tried it (looong time ago) it worked
and for answer to the question, not yet but You can create items using WT on a character from the old gen versions, import them to the new version and then drop them to the desired character.
I'm not in too much of a rush to play the remaster, so I'll just wait for WT to be updated.
I wish they included timestamps for version history, but oh well. According to the release note, this version cannot reliably convert from console to PC or vice-versa. But that's not an issue for me :) .

Even if someone says something wrong, you shouldn't be toxic as hell!
Also, "being an adult" is not neccessarily the best reason not to check your info on the internet or at least comment AFTER you've spent a bit more time on the game.
