The creator (Creative Intelligence Arts) of this game launched a kickstarter campaign years ago called Phoenix, they obtained over a million of dollars. However, they ran with out money. Now, the company is called AREA 35 So, its one of those rare cases that ITS OK to piracy!.
run everything in the _CommonRedist folder. there was 2 (x86 & x64) from 2017 that were not on my system. i am able to run the game. just played 30m to test it
uninstall the game. re-install and check all the tick boxes at the end of install process and install all needed extras. that is what i did and the game ran fine. what is the exact error you are getting?
well that sucks... this is pretty much Advance Wars on PC and is enjoyable besides the main menu japanese talking stuff. it does have english text. i will keep looking into this and hopefully find a solution. only thing i can think of is video card? but this is not a GPU demanding game. either way have a Merry Christmas :)

only thing i can think of is are you running an internal GPU such as intel? (i ran into these errors using my laptop with and intel gpu a while ago) are you trying to run this off of a laptop? any specs on the computer you are running will help.
i get the same thing but im using a computer with AMD FX-4300, AMD Radeon HD 6700 soon a gtx 1050 FTW, 16gb of ddr3 ram. i know it might work after the gpu but say yet. just mostly to say that higher still get the same problem
yep the pcs were conectededi manged to tranform info with their mdoem s and the pwoer was conected to the other pc with 2 hander isntaltion 2 sided vcable then timiie comed to me to fix my ip and lan adress irember this but i forgot everyhting
