Game won't launch. I get the "unhandled exception" error at launch. I tried like 5 or 6 different way to fix that error but nothing works. I have no idea how to make that stuff working...
Something is wrong Its just that when i play the game my character keeps going foward by pressing nothing on my keyboard i tottaly didn't press the w button and it weirdly goes by himself.
I don't know what you did IGG but I can't at all play gta vice city. The first time it was working perfectly fine but now when I launch it, it puts a black screen and says Marco's Bistro, Liberty City 1986. I know that this is a cut scene but, it doesn't work. I just sits there in that black screen. And now when I pirate Vice City from other websites it does the same thing. Please help because this game is so much fun!
It works guys! Not at first because i had same errors too. But i did some research and i was able to fix it!
Move your game folder to C:\Program Files\ (this was the key for me).
Change gta-vc file name to gta-vc.exe.
Change .exe compatibility to win98 and set 640x840 resolution and set run as admin.
Go to advanced system settings into DEP and add gta-vc.exe as extension. This should fix it for you guys. Btw. i have other problem ingame with the camera movement being too sensitive and also i cannot move camera while driving a car. If you know how to fix it please reply me.
Your fix doesn't work seeing as it's a windows related error and can only be fixed via a windows update. Camera can't rotate whilst in a car. The first GTA to have that was San Andreas. If you want to change the mouse sensitivity change it in the game's settings.
The game wont work. It says that it needs at least DirectX 8.1. But, I have DirectX 12 and it still says that it needs DirectX 8.1. Is there anyway to get around this. Please Reply.

The GTA Vice City User Files folder is empty seeing the game can't launch to even create those needed files so nothing can be deleted there. If someone has a possible fix that would be much appreciated.
Try enabling DirectX. If you're using Windows 10, go to "Turn Windows Features on or off" in Control Panel, go to 'Legacy Components' then enable 'DirectPlay'.
need some help with no sound hardware everything works execpt the sound in gta vice city iam even downloaded the 1gb audio file directory but it still doesnt work sound is present on my pc and the game runs fine exception of no sound please help
vc is so much worse, u cant swim in that game, story is so shit, but gta san andreas u can swim extended storyline and the best storyline, vc was indeed a good game back then but san a. is still the best gta game ever
Ah ok ty. I was gonna download dragonball xenoverse (or whatever its called).I saw there were only 2 links and i was like "awh sweet,only 3GB to download" Then i go to a link and its like 15GB xD. I feel like the change to higher GB's was pretty bad though.What about the people with poor internet?They go to like,90% in a 10GB file,then the download stops and they have to do it all over again! Good day

It's either going to be in your USERS DOCUMENT or PUBLIC DOCUMENTS.
