Did you install the crack? If not open the crack folder, it mays say codex then copy those files to the game folder you installed and if it asks to replace files then do so it should work now.

Download compressed zip/rar file. Extract the compressed iso from the compressed zip/rar file. Extract the custom exe from the compressed iso. Run the custom exe. The exe is a custom bullshit thing that extracts compressed data from a custom bullshit compressed bin file. Go to install directory. Run exe. Exe opens then closes. Well gee whiz, where could things have possibly gone wrong with these custom homebrew exe's and custom file types, and 4 different layers of compression and decompression we have going on? Why not just zip/rar the final install directory and package it with the redistributables? If the game needs registry entries, then package an exe that makes the registry entries. This is how things could be: Download zip/rar file. Extract the final install directory from zip/rar file. Run redistributables/registry exe, if needed. Run game. How hard is that? Even if it doesn't work, you still have less guess work at where things went wrong. All of these different custom exe's, custom file types, and file compressions human-centipeded together only makes it harder to figure out which one is the problem. Keep it simple.

There is a special dlc installation folder that comes with the game's installation file. If you do not find it, I advise you to download the game from the torrent page. gog version. available on it
the game works fine but some of the textures are either not visible or are black, almost all of the plants are invisible, and some of the stains are also invisible, which kind of ruins the game

I need help. The game download only saves in paint versions and if i want to change it i cant only do internet explorer and other typical types of programs that have nothing to do with the folder. Isnt the download supposed to be a folder?
If you haven't already found the answer, you need to use Winrar or 7zip to be able to open .rar or .zip files. (Each program opens both types, you don't need to download both.) Then you need a program called Daemon Tools Lite to be able to open the .iso file

Why is the game so low res since the last updates? You can see it even on the gameplay at 5:40 for example, the handle used to have actual detail, so did other stuff that you could install. It gets really annoying to look at low res up close after a while.
You probably just have a bad computer. Maybe the game added a future to auto-correct its graphics so lower-end computers can run it, but I don't really know.
Nope. I don't have a bad computer. Everything's set up on ultra and the game runs at 120FPS, unless the lights are involved which are just very badly optimized in the game. Like I said, it also happened to the person posting the gameplay. Are you saying you don't have that problem on the newest versions? I even reinstalled the game.
No. I have a low end computer (can't even run Roblox lmao) and know quite a lot about optimization and bad graphics. Whenever stuff like this happens, it is most likely an optimization thing. That's probably it. Why it'll still be doing that in max graphics is beyond me. It could also be a bug which is likely. Either way, the most you can do is pray that this'll get fixed in the next patch

GTX 1060 (6GB, Zotac), i7 4790K, 16GB of Ram (DDR3), basic HDD drive, Windows 10. Keep in mind though, that I keep settings like Motion Blur and Depth of field and most post-processing options turned off, cause I don't like the look of it. Stuff doesn't load the fastest possible way, due to my budget limitations, cause I chose DDR3 and HDD drive, but I don't really mind that. Most games like PUBG or GTA load around 5-15 seconds longer than they do for my friend, who has DDR4 RAM and SDD Drive.
Cracked it and everything, the game doesn't even start, it just changes my cursor to the games cursor and automatically closes itself without even opening.
Turns out my McAfee Livesafe has been Quarantining the steamclient64.dll located in the Plugins folder causing the game to crash on loading screen. If you have any virus software installed on your PC, there's a good chance this may be the cause of your game not start up properly. I would recommend one of the two options, restore the steamclient64.dll located in your Quarantine or dragging and dropping the Crack file in Plugins, then adding the steamclient64.dll to the exclude list on your real-time scanning. Or simply just turn of real-time scanning whenever executing the HouseFlipper.exe but be sure to turn it back on when your done your play. Hopefully this helps you buddy take care.
after you install it, you do need to drag a file into the game files, i forgot what it was called, maybe codex or something. But the file should have steamapp and steamid stuff and when you paste it into the game files you need to overwrite the files already there and it should be solved. Sorry if i explained it horribly

Well... i have re-downloaded the game now, with MegaUP link, and the .rar file is 1.93GB size. It's more correct, effectly x) and i can extracting that without password now! Very thank you!
My issue is that when i launch it the game looks like its loading because the house icon on the bottom right is moving and task manager shows that its still responding but it stays at 1% no matter how long i leave it there.

Can you give more insight into your issue? If it freezes while loading, I always alt+tab out and let it load a bit in the background, then go back to it by clicking on the icon on my taskbar. I'm not sure why, but it works for me. Your computer might be struggling to load it when it's in focus! :D

First, you need to download all of the updates and install them. During installation, you need to copy all of the files in the CODEX folder into the game folder. That happened to me too, but I fixed it by copying everything in the CODEX folder into the game files. Remember that each of the updates have their own CODEX folders, so you need to do that repeatedly.

It's actually kinda fun for the first 1-2 hours. After that it gets tedious as hell and some things are not specified during gameplay and you're just like "....what? demolish what wall? modify which wall??".
It's actually a fun game to play as a side game while watching videos/streams, it wouldn't be something I'd personally just sit there and play by itself though.
If something were to ever happen to your game and you have to reinstall it your game would still be saved, the save goes to your appdata folder it's completely separate.

Some people where talking about a crack but there is none in the .iso or any of the updates. Help? EDIT: So I found out what you have to do to make it work. You have to copy the files from the CODEX folder to the game folder. After that it will start without problems. I originally thought that the installer would do that automatically, but apparently it doesn't.
Yeah, you usually have to unless theres a setup.exe that allows you to add the crack. Anytime it opens steam it means you didn't put the crack in the right place.
When I open it, it opens Steam. I tried killing the Steam process, still was triggered. I tried uninstalling Steam, now nothing happens. Same goes to Subnautica... HELP?

you have to download the updates listed here on the page (all of them) and that should put your game on version 1.06 and then you can update to 1.07 when its avalible here (if anyone knows better than me plz let me know)

go to :C:\Users(replace with your username )\AppData\LocalLow\Empyrean and there you should see a folder called house flipper, then you open that folder and inside the house flipper folder should be the savegame folder

I downloaded the base, got all updates installed and all it does it opens my Steam Store in Steam when I click the icon... Anybody know why? Edit: I totally killed the Steam process in Task Manager... and it still opens
start fresh. use revo uninstaller to remove game files and also the remaining dump left behind. use ccleaner to clean and fix registry entries. restart pc. install in order from 1.01 to 1.06. starting fresh sometimes might take more time to complete.
So I uninstall all the game folders and then I reinstall it? Is it obligated to uninstall the game with "revo uninstaller" I can't just delete them? And if I uninstall will I lost all my progressions?
depends where the save files are, still the save may not be compatible with newest version, usually using a software to uninstall a game is a way to also clean up the other files it leaves around your pc without having to do it manually
you lost your progress the moment the update failed. it is really inevitable. and yeah you need one uninstall software or another, to completely remove game files. deleting game folder will do only half the job.
For any native steam game thats cracked to run without a valid steam license on your steam account, IGG has to use a steam emulator called Smart Steam Emulator to run the game, always make sure you completely exit out of Steam (kill the process in task manager if you have to) before you run an emulated steam game, otherwise steams going to notice and redirect you to the page where you can purchase the game.
It is false-positive. IGG scans every game and make sure everything is clean. Usually, the cracked games have some problems with Windows Defender or other antivirus programs. If you are unsure about something you can scan the game with http://virustotal.com
yeah 1.06 locked up on me so i closed it out and it didnt undo the half update it did now im getting error saying update is not possible due to it needing to be for v1.05

The first time I opened the game, I waited for like 10mins or so but it still didn't load. So what I did after that is uninstall the game, and then installed it again. Then I waited for more than 10mins I think and then it loaded.
After 3 (or more...) attempts with files from 2 different websites I am now certain that update 1.04 is not working. v1.01 installs fine, as soon as v1.04 is installed the game won't start anymore.
so you need first to download the files from the site then install the game in a folder or somewhere where you want, that will be the ROOT folder then download the update files from the site and extract them at a time then you will probably see a codex or some files if you see the codex simply install it in the game root folder mentionated early if you see some files copy them in the same root folder with let's say the update v1.01 then you do the same thing with v1.04 v1.05 and v1.06 sorry for bad english :P

Every time you want to update a game in igg-games you have to re-download the whole game when its already patched and overwrite the old game's files with the new ones.

Hello all. Need help with a problem I can't see anyone else having. I download the file, and successfully extract it. Using Daemon Tools, I can mount at least find the .iso file, but after that it just craps out and leaves me with a triangular icon for the disc image. I've seen this before when other isos crapped out on me. A program with the same icon appears, but it is just labeled "House Flipper" with the window only displaying the same triangular icon. Running the disc from Daemon Tools does not work, and the setup.exe inside the disc image itself does the exact same thing. The CODEX folder has no applications to run, and the setup-1.bin file can't be opened by any single program I know of. I cannot install the game to even reach other peoples' issues. Any help would be appreciated, as this game seems nifty watching Jack play, but not nifty enough to dump money into. Thank you. TL;DR Can't install the game. Get a frozen application every time I try. I'm a lowly pirate scum bag. Need help for my own incompetence.
Winrar isn't free, so I tried 7zip this time, with the same result. Was using Free RAR Extract Frog before, but that didn't mean squat this time around. Thanks for the suggestion though.

you need to open the codex folder which is inside the ISO image, and copy it's contents and directly past them to C:.....\House Flipper (where ever the game's saved.)
if it does not work then go to the iso file and copy all crack folder and paste to the game location (to the main folder of the game) and it should work unattended or will not turn on without the files of steam if available on the steam store or you have too weak equipment I hope that I helped.
this is why it always says under the download links "if you have trouble contact me." You have to copy the CODEX folder from the ISO image, where you ran setup. the CODEX folder contains the cracked files required to play the game without steam.
I have a 1080 ti and a threadripper, and I'm getting major fps problems. Is there anything I can do? I don't think its my PC. It's literally unplayable, I'm playing it on 30 fps.
i can't play it anymore now, I had the black screen glitch constantly no matter what i tried it continued to occured, I thought it was because it was trying to force an update so I attempted to update but the problem persisted so I uninstalled it and attempted to reinstall, however everytime I attempt to even do the first update i get an error and it crashes, and uninstalls the game

This error occurs if you directly apply latest update. you need to first download and install the first update then second update .... upto the latest update (for instance in this game first download v1.01 update and install it.... then v1.04 then the latest one v1.05)

open the .iso folder/file and then set up the codex. before you start installing on the codex, press "copy to installdir" or whatever. It does it for you so you don't have to do it manually.

I moved the folder for the game, renamed it then reinstalled the game. Was going to move my saved game file over but when I did a test run to see if the game would load, my save was there and the game worked. xD

Hey guys, little problem. After the installer finished, if I run the .exe on my desktop or in the folder it just redirects me to the steam page. Logging out of steam doesn't work either. Any suggestions?

I first donloaded the 1.0 version by torrent before I realise the 1.01 was available in direct download. So I downloaded and installed both. But I think you have to take both because the 1.1 update has a folder called "House.Flipper.Update.v1.01". So I guess it implies you have to install the 1.0 first.
You forgot to Codex it them, you have to go into the Codex file on the ICO and extract it to the game files. If you need more help watch a video on it.
When I try to install with the setup, it stuck and always have an error message isdone.dll, it says an error occured while unpacking : Unable to read data, anyone knows how to fix?

if youre trying to run a game from this site or another site like this and it opens steam when you run the exe, its 99% because it needs to be cracked and you didnt crack it before running, nothing to do with the game being released officially or not. i havent tried this one yet so i cant say for certain it works otherwise but in general, if steam opens you probably skipped a step and need to crack the game.

Unless otherwise specified, all cracks go in the folder where the game's exe is. It's not as complicated as you think. When it asks whether to replace the files in the destination, allow it to do so. There's no point going through the hassle of deleting them yourself one by one when it can do it for you in seconds. This applies to every other game on this site that needs to be cracked, unless otherwise specified

If you have windows 10 double click the .iso file and install the game by running setup.exe, if not, download daemon tools and open the iso with it, and install the same way. The crack is located inside the "CODEX" folder

Because when I hit the icon of "house Flipper" it opens steam, then I click on the one that says "Launcher" and I get this error: "Unable to lunch game." The fix does not work for me. Freezes at startup. Music loads but game lags. Can't set graphics to Fastest, it automatically sets at Fantastic. Thinking it may be related to the specs of my computer.
For what is the fix? On my computer it runs well with no problems. The single "problem" is that the game is not optimised, but it is in BETA stage so this is normal.

Great game! Has the potential to be really good. I’m sure there will be more content. I would like to be able to rent out the houses and ear a monthly/weekly income from that. Also the option to extent houses once brought, from playing when buying a house you can’t make a huge amount, it would be good so se better profit margins for renovating houses. It would be cool if the people you have done work for could leave a review and recommend to friends etc. Along side maybe you being able to start a construction company and hire employees to send out on jobs etc. Different roles you can hire for cleaners, builders etc. There need to be more than one toilet option lol...making the tablet menu more user friendly would be great, maybe allowing you to search all the items at once rather than section by section. also the perks is a great idea but you need more of them, I unlocked all of them within a day of playing, Maybe being able to improve th garden would be handy and rewarding. Lastly when purchasing houses it would be good to be able to put an offer in, rather than having to purchase for the advertised price, on the flip ide when you sell a house you should be able to receive offers, depending on peoples tastes and circumstances they may offer you more or less. Overall I love the game but with this adjustments and more it would take it to something new! I’m actually an estate agent buy trade … this is a breathe of fresh air

At first the Game started and worked fine for about 3min, paused it -> crashed when I wanted to continue. Couldn't start again -> insant crash (House Flipper.exe is not working). Reinstallation didn't help.
The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the progam may fix this problem. What i can do?.. what is MSVCR100.dll
or you have antivirus or firewall problem. you have to login fake steam accoun. the steamemu needs internet connection. maybe i mean it scann ing for open ports. it looks like.
Crash in d3d11.dll after a couple minutes playing. Steam not running. "DisableOverlay 1" fix seems to work so far (~10 minutes in) but no FPS boost or noticeable UI lag decrease. Need mouse cursor acceleration now. 2 hours in and still no crash. Thanks Bilal!
If you are having performance and crashing issues, open the SmartSteamEmu.ini and set DisableOverlay to 1. I had no crashes so far after this. And also I have 4x more FPS and no lags in the UI. Also don't use Fullscreen. Windowed mode helped me a lot with the performance!
While I"m excited to see this on here some of the youtube videos I have seen do not look that great yall might not want to try buggy as hell. Theres a reason there not selling it ea to the public.
Among many others I'm experiencing a lot of "freezes" resulting in me having to force close the game through the Task Manager. As for FPS , it's decent. I'm well above the minimum requirements but yet feel like I'm running a potato. I know this is beta version, hopefully soon they will have some patches released with a little performance optimizations :) For those having issues even getting the game to start, run the Launcher_x64 in Windows 7 Compatibility Mode.

Download compressed zip/rar file.
Extract the compressed iso from the compressed zip/rar file.
Extract the custom exe from the compressed iso.
Run the custom exe.
The exe is a custom bullshit thing that extracts compressed data from a custom bullshit compressed bin file.
Go to install directory.
Run exe.
Exe opens then closes.
Well gee whiz, where could things have possibly gone wrong with these custom homebrew exe's and custom file types, and 4 different layers of compression and decompression we have going on?
Why not just zip/rar the final install directory and package it with the redistributables? If the game needs registry entries, then package an exe that makes the registry entries.
This is how things could be:
Download zip/rar file.
Extract the final install directory from zip/rar file.
Run redistributables/registry exe, if needed.
Run game.
How hard is that? Even if it doesn't work, you still have less guess work at where things went wrong. All of these different custom exe's, custom file types, and file compressions human-centipeded together only makes it harder to figure out which one is the problem. Keep it simple.
If you do not find it, I advise you to download the game from the torrent page. gog version. available on it

Also, I have a favor to ask of you: could you tell me your PC specs? I'm interested in upgrading my current setup and Ultra at 120 FPS sounds pretty good. I know system reqs exists and stuff but from my many years of experience, I've learned that they're not really that reliable.
Keep in mind though, that I keep settings like Motion Blur and Depth of field and most post-processing options turned off, cause I don't like the look of it. Stuff doesn't load the fastest possible way, due to my budget limitations, cause I chose DDR3 and HDD drive, but I don't really mind that. Most games like PUBG or GTA load around 5-15 seconds longer than they do for my friend, who has DDR4 RAM and SDD Drive.

EDIT: So I found out what you have to do to make it work.
You have to copy the files from the CODEX folder to the game folder. After that it will start without problems. I originally thought that the installer would do that automatically, but apparently it doesn't.
You have to install all of the updates in order, 1.04, 1.06, 1.05
I tried killing the Steam process, still was triggered.
I tried uninstalling Steam, now nothing happens.
Same goes to Subnautica... HELP?
Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out. My problem now is that my game won't load. Even when I left it for an hour, it's just stuck on the loading screen. Any help?
