make sure you download a .rar file, after that any detection is a false positive.

Is the file size less than 5 MB?
Did you get the file directly, or have you used an exe?
If the answer to any of the questions is yes, you downloaded an ad.
Please try downloading the files again and make sure you get the correct ones.

Well, after playing through the whole thing, I don't think I can even recommend downloading this one, let alone buying it... It's too easy (except some few bosses/enemies who kill you in one hit), and VERY short, beat it in 2hrs and I spent quite a lot of time looking for secrets in every level. You get constantly stuck in objects and walls and shit, sometimes to the point where you need to start over THE WHOLE LEVEL which is frustrating. The art is good, the music is... forgettable for the most part, and the gameplay is... mediocre? Some of the guns are great, some suck ass, some parts of the game are really fun, some are super boring and drag on, some are just fucking awful.
If there's a perfect game to define as "a mixed bag", it's this one. So unless you're willing to put up with some very shitty design choices, super annoying bugs, and a lack of resolution after a short, poorly written story, probably skip it. There are good parts to it, some even really good like the tank sections, but... are they worth having to stand the rest? That's up to you, personally, I don't really think so.

Well gee, what a very odd game...
I have no idea what to think of it...
First, I just went through the sewers (first level) and it took me almost an HOUR...
Sheesh, that's very long for an action game! I wonder how many levels are there...
If all of them are that long, well the gameplay time is going to be a LOT. lol
(and btw, I already lost two of my three characters... I find it extremely hard... well I've always been a noob player though... Please add baby mode for Baby Lily!)
And then...
Now I'm in some sort of city... so HUGE that I got lost, even with a map! lol
(because of different floors... XD)
It's weird though, making such a huge city, with only a few interactive npcs... It feels a bit empty... I actually felt so bored that I quit the game for now and I'll resume playing later tonight. lol
You walk and walk and waaaaaaalk and geeeee is this city infinitely procedurally generated?? This is how it feels like to me! lol
So, first, metal-slug-like action during an hour, and now relaxing walk in a gigantic city? huh? 😅
I mentioned this problem recently, which is a recurring one in recent indie games especially... Developers become too ambitious and try to make multi-genre games... But it breaks the pace AND the atmosphere of the game, as I always say...
Speaking of which, what kind of atmosphere were they looking for??
The intro starts like a steampunk story, with 1930s music(this is how it sounded to me lol) then you hear some easy listening groovy music, then some newretrowave music during the actual game (very cool and so far, the only part of the game I really liked), and then there's this gigantic city with porn music... What a weird mix!
Sorry, developers, but I feel like you tried too do to many things at once! lol😁
Your game has almost qualities only, and it does everything very well, except...
ART DIRECTION. XD
It goes into ALL directions. As a result, the game doesn't have one specific atmosphere... It feels like a joyful crazy gameshow or circus... lol
(Come to think of it, "gameshow" is the best word to describe the feeling I had playing this... Reminds me of Smash TV on Super Nintendo! Have you ever played this?)
Even the city seems like a mix of the 30s, 50s, 80s, and maybe 2050? lol
On the other hand, I can't deny the fact that it's some of the best pixel art I've seen in the past 5 years, among indie games.👍
It's between Zombies at my neighbors on Super Nes/Megadrive and Shock Troopers on Neo-Geo.
Somebody mentioned the Chaos Engine games on Megadrive too, and yeah it's quite similar.
Edit: The city has mini-games, like a - broken - dart game, for example... You can earn money with it, while listening to circus music(really), and huh... Well, the game is getting weirder by the minute... XD
Still enjoying it though! 👍
What do you guys think?
Oh, here's something very cool though...
They're working on an "AMIGA" version! XD
https://youtu.be/DlwcNzluB7E
It makes me realize something...
The game looks so great with scanlines! I hope they add some kind of CRT filter as an option in the future!

lol good guess, this is what this game made me think of...
I prefer Zombies ate my neighbours though, because of the atmosphere.
Wasn't there an unofficial sequel too? I don't think I ever played it...
