I FOUND HOW TO FIX THE CONSTANT STEAM CHECKS!!! Go into your install directory and find steam_emu.cfg. Find "Set Steam connection to offline mode" Change "Offline=0" to "Offline=1" edit- If you start a new game, you have to restart the game first or the message will appear again.
yea i figured that out after my post i thought it worked but it was totally luck :D the pause didnt came for 20 min so i posted it and suddenly it start coming again
Ok yeah, if anyone knows a way to somehow get rid of that irritating pause, would be helpful xD...that thing is extremely random, appears in a month after previous or a year later, and unfortunely no unpause feature for that thing,so...again...playable, but very irritating.
