Any idea why the only link is giving me The Deeds of Captain Wilkins instead of the actual base game? I DL'd this thinking it was wolf 2 colossus and when I installed it, it said I needed another app to open it. It was Wilkens not Colossus which is needed to run the other extensions.

I found a fix for if u start the game if u make it to brightness it just crashes and says cannot write crash dump... simply go to C:\Users\User\Saved Games\MachineGames\Wolfenstein II The New Colossus\base and look for the file named Wolfenstein II The New ColossusConfig.local <------ and delete it and reboot the game or u can delete the contents of the file using notepad

Hi guys, sorry but am i the only idiot that gets the 0xc000007b error when try to launch the game? YES, i updated everything in my pc YES, i restarted the pc after installing the game. YES, i reinstalled vcredist and directx from commonredist folder in game folder. NO, i didn't reinstalled the game yet. (i'll try tomorrow) ...any other ideas?
OK guys, i fixed the 0xc000007b error installing vulkan from vulkan installer https://www.sendspace.com/file/rnt47y But now, my new problem is that when i start the game, the new error is: "Could not write crash dump" Searching on internet i found that this error could appear because of the "Async Compute" (related to video cards) and the only thing to do is to deactivate that feature. To deactivate that, i should go to Geforce Experience (i have Nvidia) and "Optimize" the game (doing so it SHOULD deactivate that feature automatically), but still it doesn't work.... (and i don't know how to do it manually)
OK fixed the new problem too (damn im fucking good) To fix the "Could not write crash dump" the only thing to do is update the graphic card, BUT not in the normal way. I mean, u must update your graphic card with Vulkan. I give 2 websites examples from where u can donwload the right updates:

Uninstall the current driver with DDU and then install 388.31. What do you mean I lied to you? :D Then everybody who tries to help but when the game still doesn't run properly means they are all lying :) Finally, it worked for me with the latest driver after trying many different solutions which didn't work. Everybody has different problems. Yours will work also properly with time with different/new updates, etc. You just gotta be patient and always search for solutions online to your problems on many different websites. P.S. After a while though, I got the crash dump error in the middle of the game but then I found out for example the reason for that was autosave only. So I always saved manually every a few minutes then the game started running again properly. You just gotta try out things yourself also. But if you have no clue as to how to come up with a solution, then it is a different story unfortunately...

Download jdownloader, run it, find the game you want to download on your browser, right click on the file links(example Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, ect), click Copy Link Address, open jdownloader, click Add New Links button and paste the links. After you waste your time trying to make it run, you wont even be able to reload in game. Dont mind the missing blood textures or other stupid things. You will only die after the 3rd download.

Don't mind the advertisemsnts, and DON'T CLICK THEM! Just click the download. Google Ads, more often than not, link to scams these days. Why? Becaues for every person scammed, more dollars in Google's coffer.
I think the only fix for Nvidia Users is if the devs update the game and give OpenGL support. NVIDIA GPU's and Intel CPU's do a poor job with Vulkan (and I am being VERY diplomatic with that statement) , and Vulkan is better for AMD GPU's/CPU's. So in effect without OpenGL support, this game is deliberately made to run great, for those running Ryzen + Radeon setups, and cause nothing but performance, stability and redering headaches, for those running Intel + Nvidia setups. I never run DOOM 4 (also idTech 6) on Vulkan, as I have had nothing but crashes, and rendering problems galore! After I switched to OpenGL DOOM 4 looks perfect and runs flawless. Sadly this means there are only 2 ways for Intel + Nvidia users to play this game properly. 1:) The devs add OpenGL 2:) The users swaps their CPU for a Ryzen and their GPU for a Radeon. (and swaps their mobo and RAM in the process) Not cool, Beshesda/Machinegames, not cool!
Yes. With everything recommended and done, was just getting the crash dump error after having a black screen as if the game starts while launching it and straight back to desktop. And then today, got this error as well as an extra one with the crash dump.
Ok, enough with this s.... Downloaded the whole game again from this page, installed it and the same s... happens when I try to install the updates. As if you are installing the whole game again (50+ gbs) and even so it doesn't proceed and gives the same errors that I posted the screenshots of yesterday. HOW THE F*** DO WE APPLY THE UPDATE?!! My experience. Downloaded Codex version of full game. Installed fine. Played fine. Installed Codex update 1 by copying entire folder to Wolfenstein 2 folder then opening installer (setup.exe inside update folder) and selecting Wolfenstein 2 main game folder for install destination while ignoring the space required number, which is invalid and shouldn't be there because it is confusing. Opened crack folder (CODEX) and copied files, then opened Wolfenstein 2 folder and pasted and clicked to replace files, which overwrote them. Update installed fine, game played fine. Installed Codex update 2 by repeating process of update 1, again ignoring the space required since it is wrong. Update must be installed to game folder, and installed before crack is applied as far as I know. Again, the space required number is meaningless in the update installer. My main game folder, with both update folders also in it, is 48.6 GB.
Everything is identical in name and size except the vulkan- 1.dll. I don't have that. I'm on a Windows 10 desktop pc so that is a setup difference? Using the same current Nvidia driver. I got the crash dump error a few times when trying to save, but it saved anyway. Not using quicksave though, I always press escape then choose save and go through the whole process.
Yea, I had VulkanTR but deleted cause some people said it could be cause but then the game asked for the vulkan-1.dll file so downloaded it but then deleted it again after a clean installation of the game again. With this vulkan-1.dll file, the crash dump error appears immediately after trying to open the game. Without it in the folder but with VulkanTR, when I open the game, a black screen appears as if the game will open but then back to desktop to crash dump error. Some people also say that upgrading to Windows 10 and having directx 12 solved the problem but no way people have to upgrade to Windows 10 just to play the game.

The update method should be the same as any other game. If you have the game already installed (it has to be the exact same as the one currently uploaded here), download and install the updates in order. Install game -> Download Update 1 -> install Update 1 -> download Update 2 -> install Update 2 -> copy crack from Update 2 to game folder -> Run game. What is confusing you? Do you need more help? I haven't downloaded this game so perhaps providing screenshots would help me (or anyone else) help you.
No luck. This happens every time with both updates. At first it is as if installing the whole game again (50+ gbs) and then when I click install, it gives errors. Im also pretty sure that I have the correct download version. I mean i downloaded it from here, just not from this webpage with november 7. But ill give that also a try. I have Wolfenstein II CODEX, I was successful in updating with CODEX's update #1, but can't install Update # 2. It scans the files and 1 file reports an invalid MD5 hash so all I get is this broken english error message. "An error occured while initial scan in a selected directory! Error details are listed above. Installing of this update to the selected directory is not possible, this Update is originally designed for Wolfenstein.II.The.New.Collossus-CODEX" I think "installation of this update, to the selected directory is not possible" would be the sentence to use.
The update files will only work on the CODEX release. Do you remember if the folder with the crack files was called CODEX? If not then, the older, initial upload was probably not the CODEX release. Please let me know how it goes with the new November 7 version of the base game.

How do we apply the new update to the game? So I just installed the game again from scratch. Copied the files from the codex folder in the new update to the game directory. Just downloaded update 2 with dlc. Im guessing that is yesterday's new update? Anyways, when i want to install the new update (opening the setup file in the update folder from update 2 with dlc which is 2gb), it opens the installer as if im downloading the whole game which requires 50+ gb?

With EVERY other game it works but if I try it with Wolfenstein it loads about 70-80% and than there is a writing error. With Mega, Google Drive and KumpulBagi. EVERY SINGLE the same. UPDATE - never mind. I fixed it - DUH Eric. Had to turn off the anti-virus program I have. Forgot to do that before extracting and now its installing with no issues

MD5 mismatch means that the file you're downloading was in some way corrupted (e.g. not fully downloaded or broken in some way etc.). try again. or ram write error. the fact that the data is corrupted. either because of download, ram memory, or disk. eliminate the probable causes one by one.
i exrtact the zip file like you should but halfway through is says "To litlle disk space is available to complete transfer" witch is bs cuz i have more than enough disk space

I got the crash dump error a few times when trying to save, but it saved anyway. Not using quicksave though, I always press escape then choose save and go through the whole process.
Even many people with top specs are getting the same error. Does anyone know a fix to this error???
If you have a problem with "Crash Dump" at Wolfenstein II New Colossus
with launching a game on a laptop, I give a solution to the problem and
the correct operation of the game on the laptop, so to the thing:
If you have an Nvidia graphics card, you must download the older
drivers, that is, April 2017, also applies to AMD cards, only on older
game drivers.
Works without any errors like "Crash Dump" without artifacts and the like !!!
If you have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 960M laptop, you will need to
download and install the GeForce Driver Ready WHQL 381.65 driver. Only
this driver will work properly for the new Colossus wolfenstein II.
All you have to do is download the older Geforce Nvidia drivers from
April 2017, which is a desktop driver version that will provide you with
the right gaming experience for everyone with Nvidia Geforce GTX 960
graphics cards.
Only on older drivers from April is working properly !!!
Only this WHQL 381.65 GeForce Game Ready Driver is the best and offers the best performance of Wolfenstein II New Colossus !!!

If you have the game already installed (it has to be the exact same as the one currently uploaded here), download and install the updates in order.
Install game -> Download Update 1 -> install Update 1 -> download Update 2 -> install Update 2 -> copy crack from Update 2 to game folder -> Run game.
What is confusing you? Do you need more help? I haven't downloaded this game so perhaps providing screenshots would help me (or anyone else) help you.
P.S. i have space in another hard drive. Ignore the red text in the first picture. Just did it quickly for screenshots.

I think "installation of this update, to the selected directory is not possible" would be the sentence to use.
Basically same as how people update from steam you know but in this case without having to do anything with steam ofc and not being have to install the whole game for the update.
This is just an update. I mean what does it have to with installing the whole game (53gigs) when you open the setup.exe in the update folder which in the first place was 2 gigs only? :)
P.S. I still have the torrent (just the downloaded game). Do I need to uninstall the game and then install it again through setup.exe from the update 2? If yes, do I also need an internet connection? Because i have the downloaded game in my external hd and like to disconnect from the internet when I connect it to my laptop due to private files
Sorry if this is an stupid question, but I tried to download Wolfenstein 2 to my external Hard drive, to play it on my Pc. With EVERY other game it works but if I try it with Wolfenstein it loads about 70-80% and than there is a writing error. With Mega, Google Drive and KumpulBagi. EVERY SINGLE the same. I would be very happy if you could help me, and if the downloads work for you!
