Why is it that when I download the game and play it it shows version 25582. I have downloaded "Darkest Dungeon Ancestral Edition" on this website and it shows exactly 25622. I think something is wrong here

Supongo que también instalaste la actualización, a lo mejor tiene que ver algo tu antivirus, a veces borran archivos a la hora de la instalación/descarga, intenta hacer todo el proceso de nuevo con tu antivirus desactivado o descomprime de nuevo el archivo rar, si no funciona lo ultimo posiblemente el antivirus te borro algunos archivos clave

Hi, I have a problem with save files in last version. When I start new game with totally different save file (For example save file named: "God please do not crash this time"). In first attempt game crashes and when ı open the game I find that, save file name changed to "Darkest" which is base save game name. And also my all activated DLC's are seem inactiveted except Muskeeter DLC.
Just for a bit of information, it is not possible to install mods with this version. Mods actually only work when the game is launched with Steam. Feels bad, but hey at least I can play the game !

excuse,something error with my games. it says blabla mygamelocaton\steamapi.dll is bla bla. cde error 0xc000012f. i already copied the crack.try re install,change compatibility but nothing work. seems something wrong with the steamapi.dll edit: nvm i just copied the crack without the steamapi.dll and its work.
For anyone confused you have to copy the files of the PLAZA file located on the mounted disc to the folder where the .exe file is located to crack the game.

i still can istall mod on this crack , you just need to copy the address from the wordshop and download it in workshop download webside then put what inside the archive in a file called mod. it can be found by seaching bar in window if you choose extract here you must copy the same name file in it and paste it in "mod" file . then when you enter the game you can see the blue hammer icon .hope my advise help
not sure if you still need it but: there hat to be a folder with the cracked version and all you have to do is place the cracked versions of the files into the main folder of the game to play it

Followed the instructions exactly how it went in the video tutorial but entering the game, there seemed to be a problem regarding some files, didn't mind it much since the game still ran but after pressing Space/Clicking in the "The Old Road" scene, it crashes. Might that problem I mentioned be the case?

Yeah you can, and I do it. Even got mods that only work with the dlc and everything works perfectly. My HDD died a few weeks ago so now I'm getting the DLC again. Just grab all from the DLC folder in the cracked game and move it over to the DLC folder in steam.

like when you close some apps they keep working there must be a little icon of steam right corner of your pc right click at it and then press exit and it should be done
You tried to write the password? In your unrar system should be an option which allows you to write a password if the file is secured. Simply write "http://igg-games.com". Its working for me
The rar file don't have any password,if i try open ir with winrar simply open a window with "no archives identified".I try even with 7zip and download it from other sites. same issue every time
How do you use 7zip? To do what i'm talking about just clik with right button and then "extract the files...". You'll get a window with the option to write the password. I had the same problem

How do i add mods here? I'm not that fond of adding mods for games but some mods for this game got me interested to try them. But the problem is... where? open your "computer" and search mod on search bar and double click your mod you want to apply there will be another file with the same name copy it into the "mod" the blue hammer iccon wil appear work with me everytime oh and dowload mod in sky mod have a good day
Any mods really, I found one that said use the localization.exe but once I did, it never was on my game Adding the ShindoL mod would be awesome as well but im onto some a few mods from nexus

Did you download an exe file? When opening the exe, did you get a rar file, or am I missing something? If the above is true, you downloaded an ad, make sure you get the correct file.
The game gets stuck on loading screen after first mission, in the loading screen of the farmlands dlc mission, after that if I re-open game it gets stuck in hamlet loading screen

The Google Drive download for the updates are down saying they are infected with a virus. If I download from another website chrome deletes the file saying it contains a virus aswell...
None of the files on this site have viruses, it's just that google stupidly mistakes crack files as viruses. it's called a False Positive. All of the other links for the updates work, use one of the other links to download the updates or get a download manager. Even if you decide to use a different link to get the updates, I still highly suggest you get a download manager. Downloading games through the browser is always very slow and download speeds can be increased by using a download manager, not to mention that download managers don't mistake crack files as viruses the way google does

Question so I did everything I needed to do but when I click open it says " The code Execution cannot proceed because glew32.dll was not found." I looked at everything and didn't find any glew32.dll and I've reinstalled everything more then once please help.
I'm at a loss. I've tried all manner of ways to get it to work but It just stops working as soon as I try to load it with the "Darkness has stopped working" error. I've mounted the ISO, clicked the little box to copy the codex over, tried doing it manually, tried windows/windowsnostream, updated it, made sure my DirectX, .NET and C++ was updated, everything I can think of to get it to play. It does not include the end game conditions post 200 kills i.e. the "Reflection" (Unbearable Reflection, Reflection of Decay, Sanguine Reflection, Reflection Obscura). Please update. Guys, i have two problems: The white box visual bugs on most curios, traps and etc and the ''darkest.exe has stopped working''. Is there a fix to these problems? I dont even have a graphic card. Try to add "-disableaudio" at the end of target file (the one you start the game, ie launcher or darkest.exe), this may fix the white box curio problem; worked for me. However, you play it with no audio which is sucks. Also, this solution applies to anyone who is experiencing endless loading screen when trying to enter the farmstead.

if you still havent got the answer you had to tick "copy contents of CODEX folder directory to installdir" in the crack , but now you can do it manualy by pasting files from CODEX folder to the cracked files

dude my shitty amd athlon II X2 250 3.00 GHz 4 gb Rham Nvidia Geforce gt 610 can run it almost flawless so something went wrong along the way but its not the page fault

But you know the game is -55% on steam with all extension, 21.80 € :) If you like it buy it, plus it's an indie game, the developpers need it ! You'll not have issues you have on this page I personnaly bought it after some hours of playing because it's worth 20 bucks.
omg nice last nite i was in the warrens and used the defalt order button and my vestal and bounty hunter fused together making him dissapear and her going from last to first in and endless shift getting two actions per round but being attacked from attacks form the back and first row, it was hell,at least at the end my guy came back One can sometimes find clarity in madness, but only rarely...
the game is frozen without doing anything in the beginning of the new expansion or dlc may be hours and does not work .. before mounting a game should try it as when an item is opened in the game a white area comes out the game this badly cracked do not make us waste time

The thing is that i have 2 builds of the game (updated and an older one) and i know there was a system that changed their location on the previous dlc, but this one seems to grab the saves from the classic Darkest folder on "Documents" and i don't want those save files changed (because those are for the older build i have)

why dont you try it, they already give you 4 level 6 heroes for free every week just for the horde. Still havent hopped into the mode myself, but you probably can run away after fighting a boss.

actually it was one of the first ever mods but was quickly shut down by red hook. After a poll with all the kickstarer backers they were ok on releasing it to the public.
you download the rar and extract it. Then if it has an iso file you mount it, run the exe to install. Then with autoplay open the folder, youll find crack/codex. copy paste dll/ini into data folder of newly installed folder. If it doesnt have an iso you just run it.
yes. This download contain 2 dlc + original game. Very NICE one. just played like 3 hours and it's freakingly AMAZING. btw check youtube for darkest dungeon guide and watch the 50 minutes video or something. It will surely make your days better inside darkest dungeon. Peace :)

How to fix it
After installing all the patches, I run it.
edit: nvm i just copied the crack without the steamapi.dll and its work.

Brave - Unzip the update file somewhere easy to access. After you unzip the file, you will find two folders. One with the name "update" and the other with the name "plaza".
Do the following:
1º: in the update folder, run the file "setup.exe". It will open a window to start updating the game. You need to indicate the location where the game is already installed for the update to work correctly.
2nd: after the update, go to the "plaza / _windows" folder, copy all the files that are there (there are five files), and paste / replace these files in the game directory.
That's it, girl. The game is already updated and ready to run. I hope it works well!

UPDATE: i extract the files with winzip and works fine, i don't now why with winrar and 7zip the file don't work, but now i install the update and works just fine
But the problem is... where? Some say you manually download some mods and extract their files and put them in this so called "mods" folder in which i cant find anywhere on any of the darkest dungeon folders.

All of the other links for the updates work, use one of the other links to download the updates or get a download manager. Even if you decide to use a different link to get the updates, I still highly suggest you get a download manager. Downloading games through the browser is always very slow and download speeds can be increased by using a download manager, not to mention that download managers don't mistake crack files as viruses the way google does

I've updated after getting quite far with one of my saves and it's not showing up when I try to load the game up.
They're at C:/Username/My Documents/Darkest
(i really want those sweet sweet mods)
There's no way to download mods from the steam workshop unless you ask a friend to download them for you and send you the files
However there is a forum where you can ask for mods to be posted so you can download them.
Or you could just buy the game, it's 8 euros on g2a

During installation just check "move CODEX file" to auto crack it
then you will see setup.exe
click that and install the game
learn to read the one that does not work is the new expansion that freezes and never enters .. the base game works what is wrong the crack for the new expansion and I have i7 8700k 8th gen 32 gb ram 3200 and 1080 titan xp if not run with this does not run with anything

last nite i was in the warrens and used the defalt order button and my vestal and bounty hunter fused together making him dissapear and her going from last to first in and endless shift getting two actions per round but being attacked from attacks form the back and first row, it was hell,at least at the end my guy came back
