This problem is very common in windows 10. Try running the executable in windows 7 compatibility, and run it with Locale Emulator. Most(if not all) Japanese "cultural" game problems are fixed this way.

warning. this game english interface patch is always giving crash on window 10 user. and even run under compabilty in window 7 or below is still not working. if you have window 7 physical machine. enjoy.
