I have this happen alot with games that use smartsteamemu. Edit the smartsteamemu.ini in the main folder with any txt editor and try changing the following lines. DisableOverlay from 0 to 1 OnlineMode from 1 to 0 In addition, I usually disable AllowAnyoneToConnect, AutomatticalyJoinInvite, and Minidump as well, if not looking to use MP.
