Reading your comments before playing the game after downloading made me scared. I thought, "wtf this copy of the game is sht". And then here I am after 2 days of playing straight, didn't encounter any issues you guys mentioned. Its working perfectly fine for me! But just to be safe, I made sure to follow some of the fix I saw here. #1 Place it in a short directory. I usually put games in X:/Games folder. #2 I used a default name when creating my character since they do have my name there already. #3 I made sure that it runs in admin I also noticed that it is a widely known bug not just this copy because I tried looking for fix before encountering them. Also found the bug issues in steam forum so maybe you can download an update if you really need it. But works fine with me. I even installed multiple mods to make it look prettier! Save folder is in the installation directory named RemoteStorage folder. Save file works with the gog version. Now let me tell you why Im playing this again. Its because of MAGIC! The magic system here is so awesome even compared to current AAA titles. Its because most of the new games are either about zombies, shooting, and fighting. I hope they make a new awesome magic game! Btw, I downloaded the torrent one.
I agree with you there. So many times have I seen people say that a copy of a game on this site doesn't work or that is completely broken and yet when I go to install it and run it, it works without any issues. And yes, the magic in this game is totally awesome, one of the main reasons I keep coming back and playing it.

After I finish the tutorial, I literally can't enter in a name and the game gets stuck. Can you guys please fix this, the game is literally unplayable.
Could one of you kind folks possibly help me please, i do try and help others anyway i can now i need some help myself, my problem is as follows...... Like others as soon as i start a new game it just crashes and stops working, i can not even get to the character creation screen. I have direct x and vrisd installed, I've tried different compatibility settings nothing works. I've selected the offline settings in the main menu and ran as administrator. I would love to reply this again as i did pay full price the first time around it came out on 360, was looking forward to rekindling that magic again. I would be eternally grateful to any help you fine folks could send my way, thank you please!
For everyone who have problem with name on start i downloaded controler emulator http://joytokey.net/en/ and binded all buttons to number 1 and just presed for sec and it worked:-)
In case if you haven't already downloaded it, what graphics card do you have? We can't determine if you can play if you don't say what graphics card you have
if you find a way to play this game tells me , cause game lauch fine but when you click start game it want to acces server and doesn't go further . it Keep searching and that is it .
