You may be missing some microsoft visuals or Net framework on your computer. Search on google, And download them on microsoft website. Or it might be your graphics card, Check display tab. It may also be your drivers that are outdated, In which case all you need is to do update them.
We need the latest update, game is not even launching on latest Windows 10 version for me. Stuck at white screen, then terminates without a error window. My specs are enough, Sapphire Radeon RX480 OC, Intel i5 4440 and 16GB DDR3 RAM.
I'm having issue with Blue Reflection. I've downloaded from the torrent link. Guessing from the page itself, the game is already v1.01. For some reason the game is still crashing especially the magma map in chapter 7. Is the game already 1.01 or not?

well anyone succesfully installing and launch the game on win 7(64bit) im doing a bit research that many user reported that win 7 doesnt work because conflict with v-sync triple buffer and movie cutscene playback is coding bad but this problem dont appear on win 10 user..well just waiting for patch or i just pass this game
There must have been another factor. I am using Windows 10 64-bit and the game will only view the first few lines of the game and then crash, unless my PC is actually just too weak. My specs are: OS: Windows 10 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 @3.2Ghz GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 TI 2GB RAM: 8GB DDR3 PC3-12800
From what I have seen the game uses far more GPU than CPU so maybe that means something? I also run the game through RadeonPro with all performance improvements on, even GPU overdrive and it still doesn't change anything. EDIT: Reducing the resolution to a point where I can barely read the text anymore seems to give it a acceptable 25-30 FPS.

I can't start a game, no meter what I do I always only get white window and then a message Blue Reflection has stopped working. Anyone knows a what to do? I updated drivers and tried reinstalling things like DX and VCredist all versions, that didn't help.
I can't play the game, I've tried redling it twice and it doesn't work. Everytime I change the settings or try to save, the game doesn't respond and crashes. Any way to fix this?
When I open the Launcher (the game too) my PC said: "The code execution cannot proceed because steam_api64.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." I reinstalled but still had this problem @@ Plz help meee

My game crashes on chapter 7! I can't move on with this game. I don't think its hardware error, because if that's the problem, it should be crashing right from the beginning.
That's a bug of the original game itself, the developers said that they're working on it, we should request IGG add the fix as soon as the developers add it to the game
hmm, okay, its probably caused by your drivers or C++, try updating or reinstalling them, you can try to run "sfc /scannow" on the CMD prompt (omit the " " when you type in the command) to search for any issues with your computer... if it search any problem it will try to fix it.. try disabling your antivirus also.. sometimes the game tends to get cranky with you have any antivirus running ..
Anyone have any advice how to speed up the game? It runs really slowly outside of battle. Around 50 - 75% of its intended speed I think. Edit: I take that back, now that there are more than two models in battle they run slowly too.
Seems like the game uses CPU more than the GPU and it would dip from 60 to 51 fps for me. I have a gtx 980ti with 32gb of Ram. I love Koei, but their recent ports are running off of CPU power which is not the way to go.
Its means your CPU can barely keep up with the game. The only fix is upgrading your CPU. In my case I only lose 8-9 fps during dialogues but it flip flops back to 60. In battle its stable 60fps. My CPU is an I7-3820 Sandy-Bridge Quad Core. If yours is better than mine you may want to reinstall the game
To be honest this is like at the top of small size category. And videogames this days are evolving and alot of computers or laptops with graphic card available because to fill the hole of unable to play nowadays games. Things don't remain on it place forever mate. Wait, don't tell me you are using Window 98?
It probably have to do with registry conflict in your computer. Get a CCleaner and use it to fix it.. and you can also use it to remove trash files that filling your computer space with it. Killing two birds with one stone. :D
I agree this game is simply beautiful its truly a work of art especially for a turn base. We gotta give Koei big props on how much time and effort they put in detail for this style of rpg. The only reason its getting so much backlash on cancerous Steam is b/c it doesn't have 1080p resolution, but the fact the game looks so great its not that much of a big deal. A simple patch could fix that whenever the devs decide to release it
From what I heard it does have 1080p and even 4k it only doesn't have an in game option to change resolution but you have to change it manually and everyone is raising a fuss about it. It seems like those days people just look for a reason to complain about every little thing. Arsenic_Muffin big HDDs are pretty cheep now days so you can always just bay more space.
Ah actually 1080p is only selectable when we enable fullscreen. The downside is its not available for windows size especially for those with a 3 monitor setup like me.

There is NO graphic settings... You can just choose your resolution and windowed/full screen option. If you want some AA, AF, you have to go to your GC panel and forced them.
I have problems with the game crashed when it tries to play movies on full screen. Strangely enough, window mode fixed this problem but I don't want to play on window mode...
I tried the game, it works perfectly , dlc works fine also with the dlc ini . Doesn't lag at all runs flawesly in 1600*700 with GeForce gtx 1060 , Windows 10 and intel i7 .
I tried the one included in the torrent file and the other one who unlock the dlcs. I believe it was my antivirus but no. Maybe my codec pack, again no... It always crashed during the first loading screen after TK and Gust picture...
try to change the resolution at the start up . It is just maybe a config . Or try to install a complete pack of c++ redistribuable , this often gives prob to games crashing . Be certain to have all c++ redistribuable installed on your comp ( x64 & x32 )
EDIT: OK that is weird... I unpack again the game file on an other HDD and... It is working!!! How the ****??? Just for information: I unpacked the game on an external HDD and the game didn't want to start. And now I unpacked on an internal HDD and it works perfectly... It is very crazy!

Sorry, I am unable to help you... Did you check your Antivirus? Codec pack? You may try to unpack the game again...(may be an error occured during the time you unpacked the game the first time...) and check your GC driver.
How can I change the resolution in the config file? The actual game config is missing, only the 3DM one is there and no option for resolution. If you use multiple monitors, the game won't work properly without using a third party app, like Borderless Gaming. Only problem is..that playing in "windowed" in the launcher, maxes out at 1600x800 or something like that, only "fullscreen" can go higher. All of the steam comments say to edit the config, but obviously we don't have it..
