I have redownloaded twice from uptobox, reinstalled several times, turned off antimalware all these things. the .exe after installing from the .iso fails to launch because I am missing about 6 .dll files that I can't find anywhere in the .rars or the .iso
How do you connect to the 'online community' with this game? Can you play with other steam users via server list, or do you need to set up a third party app to connect and play with others? Also, how would I go about setting said third party app up?

Please help me the game crashes non stop hours into the game whenever i try to re-enter fort joy center area! I have to do a hard reboot the whole computer freezes and i think it causes a memory leak (not a cpu expert but thats what i think since memory shoots up then all the way to nothing). Is there a fix for this? Is it because i didnt download any of the updates? I thought the game was already up to date and only needs updating if u had the old version? I just downloaded this game from here a couple weeks ago. Please someone help! Is there a patch or hotfix for this???? It crashes usually at fort joy upon reentering or when using way points but other crap causes crashes occasionally also and they corrupt my saves cuz it happens constantly now. Seems like you already solved the problem but just in case for future IGG visitor: Yeah definitely caused by #4. You are supposed to install the patches in order so do number 6. 7. 8. then 9. Otherwise your game breaks. Try the other mirror and if all failed, request a link update at the "Game Request" section. Hope this helps, cheers!

I downloaded the latest version of stellaris and updated it but it logs me into steam each time and shows my profile playing a game called spacewars. is there any way to disable this? it never used to happen before. im not interested in the multiplayer aspect either. any idea how i can just go back to playing that game without online features/steam api?
Ah Spacewars, sometimes cracked games disguised themselves in Steam as Spacewars to avoid detection. But Spacewars itself is a valid game. Honestly I have no idea how to help you as it never happen to me before. Just close Steam when playing or something, sorry! :|
aw. Yeah i tried that but I get a message saying I need to be logged into steam to run it. AFAIK it comes down to the fact that this download if made for multiplayer, not sure if I can request a single player only version. Game was Stellaris which only has 2 updates (2.2 and 2.4). 2.2 has a setup exe and a crack folder. I ran it and copy pasted all crack contents. 2.4 had only a folder named 'update' which had a ton of game folders like 'interface, gfx, common, events, maps' and 3 dll/1 ini/1 exe files. I did as you said before and copy pasted everything in those folder and into the main game folder in order but did find it strange that there was no crack folder for 2.4. Just assumed that was part of the dll/ini files that just werent packed correctly. Oh I cracked the actual game as well not just the 2.2 update, just thought id mention that

looks like #1 and #2 were issues brought on by #4, which is in turn an issue because of #3. I nstalled the latest patch without the prior 3 being installed, which it is likely dependent upon, hence the invalid message and the effect on saves. As for party management I've read is only for use in coop. So I gather it crashes because cracked games arent meant to be played online. That leaves the patches as the only issue, they need to be put back up as they are currently down.
Is this the Steam or GOG version of the game? And also, are the patches for the Steam or GOG version? Are the patches interchangeable, as in, can the Steam version patches work on the GOG version and vice versa?
Anyone else having problems with the 1st battle with Tromdoy? the battle keeps freezing on me, after I get one of him down to mostly dead can't do anything more the battle just stops progressing... I've turned off all mods but still no change. anyone else having this problem?
Most of the mods are pretty simple in adding, just copy the .PAK file to documents/larian studios/Divinity Original Sin 2/Mods Then once you reach the main menu just go to mods, check which one you want active and confirm.

how do you install the updates? everytime i open the first one, it says that the game is not installed, but i can open the game normally. Is it because i changed the installation folder from C:\ to D:? How to fix that?
Hmm. What I would recommend as hard as it is, would be to uninstall the game entirely and then install it again. If this is the GOG version you are using. Then What I did was look through the updates for the GOG version from top to bottom. So I downloaded all the updates in order than installed them in order. v3.0.143.148 v3.0.143.324 v3.0.143.909 v3.0.146.559 v3.0.146.969 v3.0.150.954 v3.0.151.229 v3.0.159.021 I used the Megashare/ google drive downloads if one or the other didnt work
It's not required, but you should since it fixes a lot of problems. If you do, you'll have to download all of them and install all of them in order. If not, you'll experience a few bugs (some major but not necessarily game breaking) instead. So it's up to you if you want to spend extra time on it. (10-20 minutes depending on download speed)
I'm not sure with what you mean by merging the 6 parts, but I'll answer with what I know. You have to install each update one by one, as for the crack I think you can just go with the one included on the latest update available.
It says it has been updated to v3.0.150.954, but downloading and installing the game it is still 3.0.141.- I hope when it is updated to v3.0.151.229 it is fixed and actually updated.
3.0.150.954 for me I think an update didn't apply correctly, I suggest you reinstall the game (backup your saves though) and apply the updates as administrator

there's actually 2 updates for the steam version, v3.0.146.559 which has 6 parts, and v3.0.146.969 which has one part. After you download all of them, you have to run the .559 one 1st, and the .969 one second. If you are wondering why the GOG version has more updates, look at how many parts the steam version has compared to the GOG version, it makes me think the base game download on the steam version already has some updates applied to it.

um, I downloaded the game by winrar-steam version, extracted and copy and replaced the codex folder to bin folder.. I tried to play the game as admin and it goes to loading screen then crash and also creates crashdump file in bin folder.. where did I go wrong?
Guys, for the GOG version, you need all the patches if you're downloading the base game. If you already applied a previous patch all you need to do is apply the later patches to it. You cannot leapfrog patches. The game updates fine. Admin probably tested this. I know I just did.
Okay for those having issues with the GOG .exe 146.559 not being clickable - I think I found a fix. I moved all of the files to my Desktop and it allowed me to run it from there. Gonna check after the update finishes to see if I can move it anywhere besides my Desktop. Okay, after finishing the Update is does appear just moving them from the folder they are extracted to to begin with fixes it!

i don't know about the steam version because I download GOG, but usually if there's only one update, you only need the game + patch (run updater inside patch folder) for GOG you need all the patch, from 3.0.143.148.GOG to the latest and run it one by one.

For Steam, you can update in one shot. For GOG, you need all the patches. The GOG counter to this is there is an updated base game so this doesn't have to be done.

the last update from gog has the language packs but keep in mind that the game has only russian, french, english and germany. So if you want another language must wait for a fan made translation
I think we're screwed as far as updates are concerned. I got my game off usenet and it's not as old as yours, but I need the latest version. On mine, many quests that I completed, I didn't get the exp or credit for completing.
Act 1 runs fairly "okay" on my system. Then Act 2 comes around and 'oh boy' how I do feel depressed now that I have random 2-10 second lag spikes and loading times are abysmal. People are placing the blame on a memory leak issue and I hope it is. I am guessing it is also due to the size of the map. I would have appreciated it if they divided it up instead of having such a large map. I heard that Act 3 is worse. Sigh

Yep. I downloaded the latest version (3.0.146.559) and sadly the performance is still really bad on the 2nd Act. I finally admit that my desktop is too outdated for this game. I just wished it started acting up of the 1st Act instead to crush my optimism early on instead of when I actually start getting into the game in the 2nd Act. On a side note; when I play multiplayer and my friend is the host, Act 2 actually works for me.
Act 3 is barely playable for me while I -far- exceed the requirements. When I get into a fight, oh boy, here it comes. Most of my abilities do -nothing-, not a god damn thing. The characters, my own and the enemies's, stutter to their place instead of moving in one line. In short, memory issues; probable. Needs a fix, soon. This is bleeding out my interest.
Yes, everything is up to date. I've narrowed the bug down to where the shadow prince is, to keep it vague. That battle lags the hell out, and my abilities fire, but do no damage. Also, area of effect abilities seem affected the most. Also fortify and magic shell.
Minimum Requirement are 4GB Ram but to be fair it says also"Requirements may change during development". I have the same problem as u. It may be a memory leak but for sure something with memory. I get almost 100% Ram usage in Act 2 and yes the map size is much larger but it should be possible to play with 4gb.

I have a problem that accured to many ppl. Its the memory leak/to much ram usage/crash or whatever u would call it. If u dont know what i mean, its about the problem about corrupt save files and u get massive loading times and crash while play (could appear random ingame wherever u are, for me it appeared at act 2). Well the thing is ppl reported this bug and the hotfix for it came on 17th or 18th this month. My question is: Is this patch the exact thing what the devs released as hotfix on the date i wrote above? Because if it is i am not sure while i still got this bug. Does anyone else got this bug before and after?
Buying the game on GOG but getting the updates from IGG because GOG decided to remove all old patches and the newest one available for download (143.148) doesn't work with many older versions plus they are trying to force you into using Galaxy... That's what I call customer friendly... not!

a couple things really GOG = DRM free so no need to crack. 2. Multiplayer on GoG (when available) is alot easier to do vs steam where you need steamworks and tungle and the like to get it to work sometimes. GoG just set up a lan game and BAM buy the game or not :) it works just fine. not sure about internet multiplayer i personaly have not had any issues with that with the gog version so i guess its all good :)
Mmmmh, you still need Tunngle to play a LAN game with someone far from you. But yeah, this GoG version won't need Steamworks or some other s*** that may ban your steam account while playing
funny i never needed it with gog version of the game. My one friend lives in NY and he connected to me just fine without it No lag at all my wife well thats the same house (we live in PA) as long as all three have THIS version of the game we play together fine (gog of course) Tungle is good though just in my case i never really needed it. So RIGHT ON man.

its included in the game itself (GAME MASTER MODE) its in there also does this include divine ascention? if not can you upload it please? (in my case gog version but would like both) also google divinity original sin mod tools you can get it that way IGG doesnt upload tools like that just games :)

What error? Post a screenshot or something. Are you installing update for your version (Steam or GOG)? Also have you turned off Divinity 2 before trying to update? Because i had errors too, only because game was working in background

I did as smek2 said and it appears to work, you do need to copy the crack over from the steam update though. I only started the game and checked if it loaded and said the correct version. Didn't play any yet.

Having a blast but at around 8 hours my saves started crashing the game, I think it needs an update :( YAYY! updated already! Edit Update did not fix my crashing issue when loading a save
heres the way to fix that right click your save file (find it not IN GAME) make sure the read only isnt checked in the save folder and your good sometimes patches tend to fuck with that setting :)
Yeah man use Evolve its a much better way to do it than hamachi in fact its making hamachi obsolete because of its user friendlyness :) IF you have a VPN it will integrate that as well (i use tunnel bear so it uses that ip)
Basically like Hamachi, only more user-friendly and it's made for gaming unlike Hamachi. You can create rooms and invite the people you want to play with, it'll designated your Virtual IP for other players to join to
Didn't work for me. My buddy somehow had a "tunneling" problem, according to hamachi. But we got it to work, by me setting my router settings to "exposed host" (that is, allowing ALL IPv4 addresses to try to connect to me) and then he could join me via direct connect using my IP. After playing session, i reverted my router settings, for security reasons. I suspect port forwarding would do the trick as well, but we tried all day and lastly i went with the "nuke" option and open my router completely.
GOG = No Drm and fewer bug issues :) no crack needed better install and patchable when the official stuff comes out :) also setting up co op via lan works perfect. DO NOT USE LARIANS SERVERS they are meant for the steam release not GoG thats why it fucks up Use Evolve OR set up a lan :) = works without a hitch (also use the patch for gog that fixes the game breaking bugs :) There are still some minor buggies in there youll probably not notice if at all. This kinda stuff happened with the first original sin and again it was due to the steam version GoG can do lan (at least with me and my wife and my friend in ny) without a hitch :) Hope this helps
I went with the GoG version, because no DRM and thus no crack needed. Having trouble with multiplayer though. But i suspect that issue is the same for the steam version and also, apparently it's an issue with Larians servers, not with the game. Other than that, the GoG version installs and runs perfectly.
Not true. I just spend a couple of hours of co-op playing just fine. What did the trick for me was to change my router settings (ie. open ports) and then my buddy could direct connect to me via IP easily. But yeah, the .999 hotfix would be nice, because a multiple players reported crashes and game breaking bugs still.
Second that. Game still has game breaking bugs and crashes and we need the .999 hotfix asap. Also, second the props for this, and all other releases thus far.
I know I'm on a pirating website so this is kind of an odd thing to say, but these are one of the few modern devs who actually deserve your money. I pirated the original game and about halfway through I ended up buying it on GOG because I wanted to support the team. Larian Studios puts most AAA devs to shame.
You'll find most people will do this anyway. Most of us just want to trial the game first to make sure it's worth the money as Steams refund policy is too short.
Does the GoG version allow auto-patching? I know some of their games will let you patch when you load up that GoG Galaxy thing, even if you don't actually own the game yourself.

Holy shit it actually worked...I tried the GOG torrent but it was going REALLY slow so I checked as many links for the reg GOG download until I found one that went reasonably fast. The "Link Link Go4Up (Multi Links)" worked best for me. Once you click this you have to select a download site from a list. The http://ezfile.ch link worked on every link for me and was by far the fastest. Hope this helps a couple people.
It was overloaded at the time I wrote this comment wise ass. I know you are not very smart so I will explain it to you in words you can understand. If too many people download the same file from google drive...it will go on a sort of "cooldown" and not let anyone download for a while. And the link provided at the time of the comment also did not allow me to add it to my google drive in any other way. Fuck off.
Does the steam version have DRM on it? Can you join multiplayer lobbies without running a cracked steam or anything? Or does only direct connect and lan work?

torrent works fine you have to right click link and Open in a new tab or window then your torrent (in my case bitlord) or Utorrent will open its slow as shit though least for now :) i personaly use bitlord over utorrent its more reliable in this case i just downloaded all 23 parts GOG version from here off the google drive :) 30 min later i was in the game :)
I know how it works... i have a problem with that particular site and i dont know why, i just get the torrent and it wont download, it stays blank, it downloads only at 130b/s so it will take over 10 years to download. and no, it isnt my internet. it only happens whit that site :/

By the time an update will drop, you had enough time to decide if it's worth a buy or not. :P And from there on, you don't have to download the game fresh for every single update.
Of course, almost games at here have version at title, but if the game just released full version, we will removed version at title, because almost people know it's full version.... . .... (We always wrote version, example: v0.8 , v0.9. .....or if it have newer update, we will wrote v1.01, v1.02,....)
A lot of games that I've downloaded from here haven't listed the patch version when it came to release versions. Like Prey and ME Andromeda (at least at the time I downloaded them). Haven't gone back to check to see if version info has been added.

Almost depend on repacker.
if steam ever removes your games from the stuff YOU OWN fight it they will give it back to you always (i did that with 3 games and never had an issue with em since) I personaly however preferr GoG versions cause they are As is no need to crack and easy to patch :) OH and DRM FREE!
you don't HAVE to play the first one to understand the game BUT I recommend it for one reason the classes and mechanics to them :) But it is completely optional :)
lan and private/dedicated server YES you can set that up BUT net based You have to use something like tungle or Himachi which is a pain in the arse to do with Divinity Original sin games so i usualy set up a lan. so Yeah its possible but other than lan/dedicated server setups its not worth the trouble.
Best game to compare it to honestly would be the old classics like Fallout or Arcanum (especially Arcanum). You get a massive amount of freedom as opposed to most modern RPG's.
Damn... now I want to play Arcanum again. lol I would love to see newer RPG's actually using some of the simple things that Arcanum used to make the game feel more fun. Like being able to go in and out of windows! I still remember going on a crime spree by breaking into the back room of all the shops through the windows, then going back the next day to sell them all their stuff back. lol
the original Divinity original sin was good too :) Baulders gate, icewind dale, that kinda stuff :) The first was awesome i am not sure about the second cause i am in process of downloading it :) (waiting on gog version first lol) I recommend it though :)

If you do, you'll have to download all of them and install all of them in order. If not, you'll experience a few bugs (some major but not necessarily game breaking) instead. So it's up to you if you want to spend extra time on it. (10-20 minutes depending on download speed)

I think an update didn't apply correctly, I suggest you reinstall the game (backup your saves though) and apply the updates as administrator

For the player who want to play Multi that it's possible ( with the both, codex and GoG ) you need only the same update, create you party, when you are in the charactere creation, press ESC, go to connectivity menu, select Direct connection, click on the little arrow buton and paste the id at your friend, your friend copy the code, go to multiplayer, direct conect, and paste ( with the little arrow green buton ) the code and TADAAAAAA ^^

I am guessing it is also due to the size of the map. I would have appreciated it if they divided it up instead of having such a large map. I heard that Act 3 is worse. Sigh

I finally admit that my desktop is too outdated for this game. I just wished it started acting up of the 1st Act instead to crush my optimism early on instead of when I actually start getting into the game in the 2nd Act.
On a side note; when I play multiplayer and my friend is the host, Act 2 actually works for me.
When I get into a fight, oh boy, here it comes. Most of my abilities do -nothing-, not a god damn thing. The characters, my own and the enemies's, stutter to their place instead of moving in one line.
In short, memory issues; probable. Needs a fix, soon. This is bleeding out my interest.
CPU: AMD A8-5600K APU OC'd to 4.2

I finished the game twice and currently on my 3rd playthru, didn't have a problem at all. Except quests journal update.
I've narrowed the bug down to where the shadow prince is, to keep it vague. That battle lags the hell out, and my abilities fire, but do no damage. Also, area of effect abilities seem affected the most. Also fortify and magic shell.
I have the same problem as u. It may be a memory leak but for sure something with memory. I get almost 100% Ram usage in Act 2 and yes the map size is much larger but it should be possible to play with 4gb.
If u dont know what i mean, its about the problem about corrupt save files and u get massive loading times and crash while play (could appear random ingame wherever u are, for me it appeared at act 2).
Well the thing is ppl reported this bug and the hotfix for it came on 17th or 18th this month.
My question is: Is this patch the exact thing what the devs released as hotfix on the date i wrote above? Because if it is i am not sure while i still got this bug.
Does anyone else got this bug before and after?

2. Multiplayer on GoG (when available) is alot easier to do vs steam where you need steamworks and tungle and the like to get it to work sometimes. GoG just set up a lan game and BAM buy the game or not :) it works just fine. not sure about internet multiplayer i personaly have not had any issues with that with the gog version so i guess its all good :)

Edit Update did not fix my crashing issue when loading a save
I suspect port forwarding would do the trick as well, but we tried all day and lastly i went with the "nuke" option and open my router completely.
Having trouble with multiplayer though. But i suspect that issue is the same for the steam version and also, apparently it's an issue with Larians servers, not with the game.
Other than that, the GoG version installs and runs perfectly.
But yeah, the .999 hotfix would be nice, because a multiple players reported crashes and game breaking bugs still.
Could we have GOG patches please ?

I would love to see newer RPG's actually using some of the simple things that Arcanum used to make the game feel more fun. Like being able to go in and out of windows! I still remember going on a crime spree by breaking into the back room of all the shops through the windows, then going back the next day to sell them all their stuff back. lol
