Merging the 0.3 version folder that is cracked with the 0.4.1 folder worked for me, the game opened in the updated version without opening steam, if you have the 0.3 cracked folder, just play the 0.4 folder files in version 0.3
Thanks! Everything works fine for me both the 64 and 32 bit work for me but this game is just horrible!!!! I'm so glad i found out out now, I'll wait till the final version comes out and make my final decision and normally i love games like this but this one sorry to say i wont be playing!

Suggest you wait until it gets updated anyway, since the minute I expanded past like 50 students I hit a bug where the students don't even attend anymore and ALL 120 failed their exams. ALL.
So i started the launcher.exe for 32-bit (normal stuff) then error pups up: 0xc000035a (with some text about Unityplayer.dll cant be launched because its not programmed to run on Windows or something) so i did some research and if i get it right it has Unityplayer.dll for only 64-bit so 32-bit system cant run it. My suggestion is that Igg should put 2 folders, one for 32-bit systems with its own 32-bit Unityplayer.dll, and another one for 64-bit systems with 64-bit Unityplayer.dll.If you found some way to fix it please leave a comment.
or you could just do it yourself first go to local disc and creat a new forlder and name it acedemia and copy the files from the mounted disc to the local disc and to ur new folder then inside ur new folder create another new folder and name it 64bit then vopy the academia.64exe(something like that) and the unity.dll 64bit to the 64bit folder.If you dont have a 32 unity.dll dont worry ur device should have both 64 and 32 bit systems

Fixed it, this also broke simairport & a few other games, the reason is Windows 10 creators update & something they did with graphics. Solutions (best in order) -Disable recording (xbox app) -Update graphics drivers -Right click exe > compatibility > disable full screen optimization -Change screen resolution below 1080p, launch game, then change it back. Literally just upgraded to Windows 10, so annoying.

While we accept that at some point piracy is inevitable, I'd like to believe that most of you want to support games and game developers. I recently bought a Mac and haven't been able to play games from this website since. Am I missing something? Is there something I need to download before I can run the downloaded file? Or do they just not work on Mac? Every time I try to open a game it says the file can't be found.
You should install the latest driver for your VGA (Search on google and download 3DPChip - it's freeware, then download it, and install it, it will give you a link to download latest driver VGA) :D

Well this game is similar to Prison Architect when you see the previews so I'm not surprised it need 4GB of RAM. 4GB of RAM is like the minimum requirement for games these days. Back in the day it was like 2GB, now it's 4GB. I suggest getting new RAM stick like me :)
