Thank you very much for the update, this game is amazing and everyone should try it, when finishing it for the first time, it's only the beginning of the story, it has all the best of Metroid, a piece of art, you are the best. "We are gamers - We are a Family"
hmmm how do you move the character? I tried everything... gamepad, mouse, keyboard... I did use the crack too... I don't understand.😢 He doesn't respond at all. Edit : Nevermind, I restarted the game and now he moves. I don't get it. lol
I'm stuck again... How in the world do you get past that room??? I tried EVERYTHING. I explored every room I could already and there was nothing, no bonuses, no switches, nothing. Gee, Super Metroid was a breeze compared to this one!!
There are a lot of walls that look normal, but are actually breakable if you shoot them. Get into the habit of constantly shooting every inch of every wall to reveal paths and hidden items. I don't particularly like how its handled, but so far there has no been any sort of level design issue by the procgen that had me stuck. I also just went to the steam page of the game and they just released a new update that fixes the soft-lock bug I was experiencing.
I appreciate the update request, I'm still excited for this game too and want an updated file too, but I'd wait for the dev to do a couple more updates. The few updates that came out recently had some important changes and I expect more to come soon. Might be too early to update just yet I think.
Its a really good game, I've been playing it for 3 hours, but I ran into a bug that pretty much soft-locked my run, making it impossible to continue. All effort down the toilet. Beware, if you see a floor door that goes to a room below and has a fire icon on it, the collision on it will not let you through. Maybe an update will fix it and I can continue my game. : C
"soft-lock"? I'm not sure what that means but I worry that's what happened to me. I might be wrong, but I think that the procedural generation in this game is actually completely broken. I already restarted the game 2 times because of some big walls which were blocking me. And nope, it wasn't because I didn't find a switch to open them. I was actually surrounded by walls. This is ridiculous. See my comment above.
The soft-lock I had was a door that I could shoot, it would look like it opened as any door would, but it would act as if it was still closed, making it impossible to go through it.
I think I know what room you mean. You're supposed to shoot at the ceiling to reveal a hidden path that you can jump into to cross the blockage wall. The proc gen isn't actually broken, its just dumb level design.
Anyone else getting REM Error ? It goes "Hacker? Cracker? Newbie? Lamer?, Give me credits when you clone my job!" Game refuses to install, tried different versions and it does this every time :^(
