To run this game you need to create a .bat file in the game folder(1.bat for example) with string "start javaw -jar aotns.jar" without quotes. Then point smartsteamemu to this file instead(edit SmartSteamEmu.ini Target field)
If anyone happens to see this. Ive tried all the methods suggested in these comments and I cant get the game to launch still. Have any of you guys in the comments suggesting things actually got the game to launch and play yet???
I did it, following the info that people posted before. So: 1.- Create aotns.bat file in game folder (Open notepad, write in it: "START aotns.jar" without semicolons. Save as aotns.BAT, not aotns.TXT) 2.- Modify SmartSteamEmu.ini (Open it with notepad, search for "Target = aotns.jar", replace JAR for BAT and save it) 3.- Profit!!!
Getting an error, "Unable to launch game. Make sure the 'Target' and 'StarIn' Folder point to correct path and folder". Is this an issue with the smartsteam.em.ini?
what I understand of the problem is that SmartSteamEmu doens't like .jar , so what I did was creat a .bat with "START 'game directory'\aotns.jar" and in the SmartSteamEmu.ini chang the target to the new .bat and the game directory to the game folder. To create the .bat all you need to do is create a notepad, write the command line, and then save as 'name'.bat Hope it helped :) (sorry if it is not to clear or for bad english)
