The updates installation are straight forward, just download every single updates and installed it one by one based on version. Basically:

If you found errors when updating, and said something is mismatch it is because you installed wrong update.
Note: Idk why but the first update requires 45Gb space, while it in the end it didn't installed that much of content or data. So if you had tight space in your SSD, move other files to HDD, after finished installed update moved it back in.

Hi Xcom 2 the base game opens up fine however the WOTC expansion does not. Whenever I try to open it it pops up an error. The code execution cannot proceed because GFSDK_Aftermath_Lib.x64.dll was not found. I installed all the updates and the codex but it still does not work. Does anyone else know how to fix this?

To whoever is struggling to get this running: the base game wasn't working for me but after downloading and installing all the updates I was able to play through the first few missions just fine. Red screen errors can be just ESCaped from. The order of updates is the same as listed on this page.

The xcom2.exe seems to work but not the : ModLauncherWPF.exe error at D:\project\main\XCOM2\Development\Tools\ModLauncher\ModLauncherWPF\launcher.cs : line 125 the error once translated is : file not found Any idea of how to solve that ? Hey, I know it's a bit late. But I wanted to know, is this the base game with all DLC's? Or is this just War of the Chosen. I am getting mixed messages, with it saying War of the Chosen, but at the bottom it shows the Note saying that all DLC are included with the base game. So I am kind of confused if it's the base game with dlc including War of the Chosen, or if it's just War of the Chosen. As it is a bit confusing for me, though I might just be dumb; considering that War of the Chosen is about a 30 gb download normally, and so is the base game, so I figured it was a bit weird that it's like 56 GB's when most downloads say that it's about 60-70 GBs to download. So I was wondering if it was a huge compression that IGG did, or if it's simply just a misunderstanding on my part and it's just the DLC.

I figured it all out. The Codex is good, and it IS the whole game with the DLC's. I would advise simply getting it instead, just use Bittorent or Utorrent and download it. Sure, it is a long download...but it is much less hassle than downloading each part individually, piece by piece, then piecing it all together in the end. Just sounds simpler as well, I shall leave it on seed for a good while. But anyway, thank you IGG for giving me this CODEX torrent, and sorry I am not using your different parts, I would have...but I cannot download very fast through my browser, and the MEGA link is down, so I refuse to download it like that. I downloaded and launched the game but it is only WoTC, the other DLC's are not included. I tried the updates but then the WoTC expansion dissappeared as well. Any way I can play with all the DLCs?
Hello. I downloaded all 11 parts + 2 update parts. After that I decompressed the 1st part with WinRAR and connected the disk image with Daemon. I openned up the created image and wanted to start the setup aplication but it showed error window in which was this: "Windows does not have access to the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." but I am admin of the PC so I have appropriate permissions. Can someone help me??
Oh I solved it :)...my antivirus was constantly denying the acces for the file and it did not show me that the antivirus did so. I just gave the file permissions in antivirus and now it works just nice :)

If anyone needs help with the steamworks initalized error just move(copy) the codex -> binaries folder (From the ISO file you found) to the new folder that was made from the codex on your drive and let it replace the files
after download the mod go to the,xcom2 war of the chosen>xcom2 war of the chosen>xcomgame>mods, put the folder in there.launch the game using the binaries>win 64>launcher>mod launcherwpf i get the mod from nexus or skymod

Hello. I had similar problem. I just solved him by giving the aplication permissions to open up in my antivirus. The antivirus was constantly denying the acces of the file. I had (as I said) only SIMILAR problem tho. The problem was that i couldnt even open up the setup file in created disk image but I got really similar error. U can try if it works...if u still need it :)
Whenever I launch the game via the mod launcher I get an error stating that the system cannot find the path specified and if I launch the game directly then I constantly get red screen errors up to a point where the game breaks at the end of a turn after I've killed a chosen and I cannot continue. How do I launch the game through the mod launcher? Should I change something in the file path?
When I start the Game with the normal XCom2.exe I get Redscreen errors and the Game runs really bad. But when I start the Game with the ModLauncherWPF.exe located in XCOM 2 War of the Chosen\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen\Binaries\Win64\Launcher everything is fine. Maybe it helps someone else.

You have to tick the second box when installing the game, I think it reads "Copy CODEX files directly into dt.ll" or something, can't remember exactly.

Sorry for being late. The issue comes from one of the updates previous to this one. It needs 49GB (the total of the game) to be installed instead of its own space, but for some reason can be installed either way. Well... it happens that it doesn't get installed and the register shows that it did. Solution: Make an aditional 50GB space for that sole installation.

Yes, after downloading the Torrent.... and the Torrent "fix" found just below the main file... download both updates and install them in order to the root directory of your game. Make sure you run the Setup for each one, and copy/replace the crack for each update, too. The first update is pretty big, the second one is small.
Hey i found the solution. So you need to move the Crack files into the Root folder not the folder you arrive at when you click Open File Location on the .exe If you have any issues lemme know ill try to explain better

which crack folder should i copy from? In the crack folder there are binaries folder and xcom2 - war of the chosen folder which also contain binaries folder in it. so which one should i copy?
I noticed that game won't properly launch unless I rename XCom2.exe to XComeGame.exe. Now that the launcher shows up, I click the bottom left button to enable the DLC, but the game that starts is ALWAYS the original XCOM2. The launcher buttons show up fine, but the game is somehow only starting XCOM2. Please help :(

hi. i've got big problem. Already downloaded and installed twice, but always same result. before adding crack i just installed game and both updates ( first 52346, then 64105). After that i manually add crack. When trying to launch from shortcut launcher, game boots in the background for some time, then goes straight into white screen and app "stopped running" window appears. Check the quarantine section of your antivirus, maybe it deleted some file.
