Is this based on the mobile version, rather does this still contain micro transactions?

It does not have any microtransactions (you can get the "superspells" free ingame)
You shouldnt bother with this crack as saving does not work

Can confirm. Tinkered with the usual culprits. Steam offline seems to have this issue as well. On official, this is a known "issue".
