Question: How can I play Duskworld? I've already joined their Discord server,but it doesn't do anything to the game. Can anyone tell me how to play it? :/
Isaac, it must be nice to be able to afford to spend $20 on a whim. Maybe you should take a look outside your little bubble and realize that for much of the world, $20 is a massive amount. Prices scale by location, but that doesn't always help.

So, is this the REAL version or the Alpha version I keep hearing about? Edit: You can select Nameless City but you can't go from the loadout screen... This is Version 1.0 not 1.1... Please update to the actual version 1.1 and remove the Episode 3 from title as it's not even working. :/
Episode 3 works for me so not sure what problem you are having. I was able to finish all of the game. If version 1.1 is a thing you will have to prove it to IGG to get an update. Asking them here is also not going to get it updated it has to be requested at the link at the top of the page. Good luck as they would not update it for me.
Ok... I did more digging since Dusk steam page shows nothing about the current version. I looked in the forums on Steam for Dusk and found a post from the Devs about Patch notes talking about Version 1.1 It is minor fixes in my opinion and nothing to keep Version 1.0 from working. Like everyone else though I would like to have the current version. I will post again for a Dusk update on the Game Request section with this new link and see if IGG will look. So YES everyone this is not the current release but I have played through the entire 3 episodes myself with no issue on Version 1.0 That is all I can say for this matter. If it doesn't get updated 1.0 is good enough until the next major update if they change "major" stuff. Selecting Nameless City shows up a screen with a Menu button and a Loadout... I saw a video where someone clicks on the bottom right corner that has a symbol in there... I can't find anything in there.
I like XP, it boots in 2 seconds, everything seems to run faster. it's not that I don't like 7, I like it and I use it on my notebook, and I have a 7 partition on my main computer too for games that don't work on XP, but I use XP as my main OS, it's fast, I like it, I still think it's search feature is better than 7's search, and there are some older games that don't run on 7 or have weird glitches but they run perfectly on XP.
looks back at system requirements oh so they're that low. I guess I was more complaining that you had a system that was more than powerful enough to run 7. XP is still great though, I have a 2007 windows xp gaming pc and it runs like a dream.
This is version 1.0 of Dusk... It has all 3 episodes... I have no trouble saving my game and didn't have to manually make save folders... I don't know if this is the current version or not. With help from a Mod on here as far as we can tell this is current release as of now.
Sorry, I don't, as I didn't mess with that. When I play(ed) it I just did normal single player game. This is still not updated to latest version as IGG won't update it for whatever reason. The game is complete though, I finished it to the end. Good luck.
According to what IGG told me it is up to date. It doesn't specify on Steam what the actual current version is from what I can see. I am just stating here what I have found out for you guys.
Dusk Version 1.1 is already out, this is an older version that somehow has The Nameless City as an option, granted I can't pass the Loadout Screen for the Episode...
So from the comments its hard to understand. Also hard to understand from IGG because of how they title the games on here. Is this a complete version of the game or a Alpha/Beta? IGG says they posted this on 12/26/17... while Steam says the game came out 12/10/18.

Saving and quicksaving doesn't work. Not sure if it's a problem on my end or the result of a faulty game... apparently it's something the devs have already fixed but fact is it doesn't work for me. Not even in Admin mode, not even when I input a save name. Win 10 x64
Go to where you installed Dusk, open it and create two folders where the .exe is, one called "saves" and another called "saveimages" (without the quotation marks). That's it. Don't drag your actual pictures into the game folder... lmao. The game is supposed to make them when you save.
Whoever pre-orders this game on Steam will gain access to the first chapter so that means EP. 2 was leaked by one of the testers while in it's early stages. That's kind of rare... usually these small circles don't hand out their games to piracy like that as there's a high risk of getting caught. Unlike Strafe, this one REALLY feels like a 90s FPS, especially Quake. It's like a great Quake mod, with better weapons (a matter of taste), and new enemies, levels, etc. The Quicksave is a bit long compared to old games, but it's acceptable. Can't wait for the new episodes! This is gold.👍
How did you managed to save? My game doesn't want to save at all... not even through quicksaves. Admin mode does nothing, inputing a save name does nothing... it's frustrating to say the least.

Starting with Wolfenstein 3d I’m still playing all the Dooms and Quakes at least 3 time every week randomly since they came out. Let’s see how good this 1 is.
Well it's too short to be considered a real contender, and also, I think that the games you mentioned are better if you install mods, but it's definitely one of the best, if not the best "retro" FPS out there. Then again, there aren't many similar games. lol And me too, I play these games almost weekly, especially since I found out that we could use mods. But I never tried out gameplay-mods, since every time I try to use mods on something, my whole PC falls appart and takes my home and a part of the city with it. Ok, it's less dramatic, but I really feel sometimes like a superhero, if I get mods to work.

At first I thought you meant the Megadrive console though. lol (which I do listen to as well XD) Well, installing mods in Quake is actually easier than with Doom, since you don't even have to edit some config files or anything. About your PC falling apart though... You have to be careful with graphic settings.
