If you want to change your name on CrashDay Version 1.5.41.
(First): Head to AppData\Roaming\Goldberg SteamEmu Saves\settings
If you can't find AppData, use your Window's Search and type "%AppData%.
(Second): Click the File called "account_name.txt" and just edit the name.
Don't forget to save, and if it didn't work maybe try running your Notepad as an Administrator.
(Note: Open CrashDay first then play a little bit so that the Game will write your data on your Save Folder. After this, you can now follow the steps above.)
Install mods: Extract downloaded files into /Crashday Redline Edition/user. Start "crashday.exe". Click on "Mods". In the upper right corner activate "Mod development mode". Click on "OK". Play with mod. Tracks(.trk) will load without "Mod development mode" activated, but everything else will not.
can some one help me out, i can join/host Hamachi server session with my friends but if we start the race it just says (after loading) something like "couldnt start race". Nothing more and stops there in the lobby

here's what i know, in the game File search SmartSteamEmu.ini open it with notepad and then scroll down until you find PersonaName, there you can change your name. Hopes Help :)
If the mods are a track (.trk) put them in the "user" folder, I'm not sure about files that end in .cpk though, but I do know you can open .cpk files with 7zip, but where do you put the files inside?
Only 600 MB.. for such graphics? Man, if I could, I'd buy this 2 times! Had so much fun in the normal version. It looks like they didn't waste resources on "protection" and just did their thing. Based devs! Now, I haven't tried it yet. If devs see this message, thanks for making this!

Oh wow, since it's the first time I play it, I didn't even know it was possible to make tracks for it. Well my first impression was bad cos the cars seemed very "heavy" to me. Which is another reason it reminds me of the handling in the first Carmageddon. Then I got used to it and had lots of fun with "keep the flag" mode and also "stunts".😋 "run the bomb" (I forgot if it's called like this lol) was too hard though. You have to drive faster than the speed limit, but it seems impossible in tight corners... lol (depends on the track) Graphics are good enough for me, they work well for this game and they remind me of early 2000s Trackmania games. The rock music isn't bad at all but I turned it off and played NewRetroWave music instead. 😁 I like how this game is a mix of everything. Oh yeah, the A.I. seems too easy so I assume it's better to play with friends... But... we can't play multiplayer, I assume? I'll go back to it and try more modes. 😄 I tried only "single events", so I didn't even check yet if there was a career mode and stuff to unlock. lol I was checking Steam reviews and I saw somebody mentioning a similar game, "Gas Guzzlers Extreme" => http://store.steampowered.com/app/243800/Gas_Guzzlers_Extreme/ I never tried it so I don't know.😟

The most I enjoyed was Death Match and Stunts modes. Didn't check the others before. I've listened to the ol' game music so much that I know how goes after I hear the beginning. Not always, though. I like that too. It got mostly everything. Yeah, I get ya. In the 2006 one, it was kinda too easy to win races. I remember there was a multiplayer option on the old one, hmm.. this cracked, I'm not so sure. Have a good time :) I assume there is, the orig one also had a career thing.
i have installed the latest version of the directX and also installed the latest VGA driver. and i hot gtx 1070, 7th gen i7, 16 gig ram, still the same error.
I actually found the way to play it my friend, you have to do what it says in http://steamcommunity.com/app/508980/discussions/0/1621724915804456518/, there on how to fix the error the dev says exactly what you need to do to make it work, and it works for me, you need to change the resoultion to your resoultion and then change the vsync to true.

Delete "StartIn" line (or type # in front of it) and make sure if "Target" line corresponds to the main exe.
Can you also upload SDK for this game?
As far as I know, there are tools for creating own mods, but you have to buy the game first, to download them.
The RAR file is only 498 MB and extracted 601 MB big. It works great.
Now, I haven't tried it yet. If devs see this message, thanks for making this!
