Please tell me what the appeal is with this. Is this one of those "Read>Click Next>Read>Click Next>Read>Click Next>R-rated picture>Click Next>Read..." novel/games? Seems like a waste of hard drive space and time. I would understand if the stories were good, but - in my experience with a few - most are just kinky hentai images with bad Asian dialogue. I'm not trying to 'ruin your high', just would like to know the appeal. Also, if there is a novel worth playing (for more than its pictures) please direct me to it.

I find this particular VN very fun and interesting to read, compared to the many others which I have put on hold due to lack of interest after reading halfway. The story is what gets me the most with this one, you have the funny and fun stuff as well as some serious action, you might get bored when reading the first half of the first volume as nothing much is happening yet, but I assure you that what comes after will get you hooked. The characters comes after, each one of them is very interesting and fun to watch, if you dislike them, then I guess this would be pretty difficult for you to read. The art and music is also very well done. I find each volume pretty short, one volume takes about a day to read. Finished this one in one sitting and now I am eagerly waiting for the forth one. A personal recommendation would be Rewrite by Key, a very long VN with no adult content. The story in this one is just fantastic.

Grisaia series are known for serious plot, but other than that it's still VN series that's played by reading Also, what you considered as a waste of time and hard drive space might not be considered as such for other people who DO enjoy VN. I personally enjoy VN than pwning other players everyday, it's rare to see a game in this day with singleplayer mode that's very long in playtime (Yes, I considered VN as a game) and replay value since most VN have more than 1 ending
