well im 2 months late but you download all the parts say from google drive or mega, keep them in one folder, then click on any one of them and extract it, now in the extracted files you maybe able to play right away or install it if there is a installerl, only thing you need to be sure of is that you have downloaded all the parts
i don't know much either since i usually buy vns on steam but when you download all of the parts select them all at once and extract it with winrar or any program, the program automatically creates a new folder so you don't have to worry about it. also since this game is japanese you must set your pc locale to japanese/use locale emulator. there's an unfinished english patch done by hollow moon translation group their site has guides installing it, i can't say much about it since i haven't downloaded it yet
Not sure if people are still downloading this game or not. Here's how I downloaded it without clicking "setup" for those that are stuck when they run it. I will also link to the most updated english patch.
Extract and move the created folder, "Mahotsukai.no.Yoru", to "Program Files(x86)", or, any other drives/folders that you have on your computer (C,D,E,etc). It can't be place in the document folder because that will yields an error.
Open the ISO file, I use daemon tool lite in my case.
You will see that there's a setup.exe. Instead of running it. Copy and paste everything into the folder containing the ISO.
Once that is done, open the folder "Crack" Folder, copy all the files, then go to "魔法使いの夜" folder and paste it there. And yes, replace everything.
Now run the game using Locale Emulator. After seeing everything running smoothly in Japanese, you will notice that there's a "savedata" in the folder.
Close the game, and go into "savedata" folder. And there, you will see the "patches" folder. Ignores the "EN" folder since you're about to grab the latest patch.
After finished downloading from google drive link, extract and move patch1-3.xp3 (all 3 of them) into "patches" folder. Ignore everything in that zip except for "English Patch". In case you're having problem running the game, keep the "forWin8x64".
Create a shortcut of the game and paste it onto your deskptop. Now you can run the game in english with a locale emulator. Enjoy! :)
Late reply but, it seems like you don't know how to extract? All you have to do is:
select all parts (1-7)
click "extract here" with all 7 parts being highlighted. What that will do is it will merge 7 separate files into one and make it possible to setup the whole game into your pc. As to why you would have to do this, people can't just send games with high GB numbers in one download session without experiencing problems, unless they're relying on torrents to send data across the server; where there's lower risk of file corruption or some data missing in the ZIP due to unstable connections from your ISP and the Domain/Cloud server that stored the data. So if you had experienced file corruption from your zip when extracting it, the solution is to usually redownload it again and hope that nothing will go wrong this time. Hopefully this will answer some questions for those that aren't familiar with extracting multiple zips at once.
So I downloaded the game from torrent page and follow all the instructions. It worked but the only problem is it's not in english I think it's french?? halp edit : I think I found the english patch but it doesn't work it keep checking disc while french worked perfectly. edit 2 : so I just tried to put all the patch both english and french in the patch folder, it's working now the VN is in english but the tools system is still in french which I don't mind as long the VN is in english. we'll see
So far I played the VN is fully in english which are the storytelling and in-game option but it just the tool bar that in french.(The one in the top left corner options)
